Nice Hotel, Worth the price”
we stayed at yt 31 during chinese new year for 3 nights. the hotel have just 5 rooms, the deluxe room that we booked was great with big a jacuzzi, they also gave us breakfast voucher but we were lazy to wake up and try it. they surprised us with a candy box as a chinese new year gift. i highly recommend this hotel if you also can book in with law price (around nt).

Great location, friendly and helpful service”
The hotel is strategically located in the city area (but do not expect the city to be anything like big/modern cities such as NYC, Singapore's Orchard Road, etc). It is within walking distance to many shops selling local delights and apparels. I left behind my personal belonging in the hotel and called the service staff if they could help to send it to my next hotel in Taipei, and they were very helpful and extremely patient. The item arrived in good condition (I just had to pay the courier charges). Am very grateful and impressed. However, the breakfast was served in another sister hotel which is about 15 minutes away from YT 31 B&B. Still, the breakfast was decent on both days (coffee/tea, sandwich/burger, fruits, egg and a soup). I was given the room with the "princess bed" and I really enjoyed my stay. But do note that there is no lift in the B&B, and luggages will have to be carried up a few flights of steps.

Heart Warming, Simple and Comfortable”
The owner of this homestay is very friendly and helpful. Both husband and wife are willing to share with you all the interesting places to visit and where to hunt for good food. It was well location in the city of Hualien whereby the nightmarket and the local specialty shops are nearby. I love the decoration of the homestay and the room is also huge and the bed is comfortable too.. I miss this homestay so much.

Romantic Hotel”
Hotel is conveniently located but you need to take a taxi from Hualien Train station. Breakfast was served at Queen's which is 5-10mins walk away, past the 'broken rock'. There is a family mart nearby and also a bbq meat and fried chicken store nearby. Very convenient and the rooms are big and romantically designed.

Lovely minsu with a huge bathtub :p”
Wonderful stay although you might have to take a taxi to the minsu from Hualien Station. Also, the night markets are also quite a distance from the minsu, a walk to the nearest one would require about 15-20 min walk. The rooms were clean, quite spacious and nicely decorated. What I loved most about this place was the toilet! A 10-15 min walk to the breakfast place is also required, however, the breakfast is quite good even if it is a little had to find.

Enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Noted that breakfast was abt 10mins walk away but was rather pleasant walk provided weather is good. Will be back if in hualien again.

Local hotel in the centre of Hualien”
To be honest we expected a little bit more, but were pleased with bathroom and location. The girl at the reception didn't speak English at all but was able to help herself with a translation program, so we got around. The bed was a little bit outdated and shaky but the bathroom and especially the shower were very spacious. They did some renovations so chances are that the bed got replaced and we saw some laminate being carried inside the building. As it basically rained the whole time of our stay here we were very pleased that the hotel offers big umbrellas for their guests. Those were also helpful for our walk in the morning to the breakfast bar as breakfast is not served in the same building. It's actually a 5 to 10 minute walk. The lady who serves the breakfast is very friendly and speaks a little bit of English. Breakfast is nice but it's the same for all, so no choices here. Also we had a nice stay in Hualien we would prefer to book another hotel next time we visit.

Beautiful rooms at a great location. ”
the rooms are beautifully decorated according to different themes. location is awesome, with eateries opposite that are open till late at night. it is located within the city centre, bustling with activities. complimentary breakfast is delicious, but we have to walk a 5 minutes distance to reach the place. receptionist can be a little friendlier.

Superb Location!”
The location is good, the room is clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is located right in the golden triangle where all the shopping and eateries are located. Owner is friendly and she initiated a few nice eatery areas which indeed the food is nice. She also helped us to book Taroko National Park tour with the local travel agency. We enjoyed the tour very much. One area which I would like to comment is that the room did not provide electric kettle. People like me who prefer hot drinks at night, will have to go to the reception area to get from the water dispenser. Perhaps the owner might want to consider to add this item in the room.

Very nice Hotel”
The hotel is very well decorated. The rooms are newly refurbished and look amazing. The beds are the most comfortable I have selpt in in Taiwan. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I accedently booked the day before Inactually checked in and it was not a problem. The also helped with the planning of iur journey and had quite helpful vontacs to local serviceces such as taxi and scooter renting.

Tiny hotel, challenging to find”
This hotel doesn't have an elevator so travelers with a suitcase need to be prepared to lug it up the stairs. The place is actually not on Zhonghua Rd but off to a side street so it is easy to miss. The immediate area has lots of shops and small restaurants. Pastry and clothing shops abound. The room had free WiFi.

Clean , nice and friendly owner”
I must say that the owner is awesome because there were places that me and my friend wanted to visit but did not visit due to transportation. At the end of our stay, the owner ask where did we visit and she offer to bring us to various location such as Taroko National Park and 七星潭 with her car. The hotel room is clean with daily necessities.

Lovely Hotel”
very nice and trendy and with a small bath tub in the bath room, only problem we had facing is raining season, so we did not explore a lot of place but our hotel located the heart of the shopping area so it is very convenient to move around. but we face 2 problem is the room we slept a lot small little cracking sound, just imaging during the night was quite quiet, small sound makes a diffrent so we could not sleep well, and another problem is the breakfast restaurant need to walk to another street about 7 min walk, because is raining season, so we caught in the rain on that day morning.

trendy little b&b”
This YT31 B&B was of great location but inconvenient for elderly as no lift was provided. This B&B was easily accessed by bus from train station and located within the shopping belt. Food outlets were good and conveniently located. Alternative MacDonald breakfast was provided for us as we have to visit Taroko and back to Taipei by early train.

Cute hotel with a great location and breakfast”
Location is within walking distance of the golden triangle (shopping area) and the decor is cute! Poker cards themed with HUGE bathtub. Breakfast was a 10 min walk away but well worth the trip because the thick pizza toast was yummy fresh out the oven. Love this place!
