Find Vacation Rentals in Tainan, Taiwan

It's a historical city of Taiwan. There are lots of traditional buildings to visit and department stores/ shopping areas to go in daytime.

Mark out the places you want to go to on a map, then plan your journey route. Most of the places would be within walking distance, or if not, try to get a bicycle.

The old capital in Taiwan, here have many attractions to look around. It's suitable for couple, family, friends,and backpackers.

The Tainan city has a history to follow, as it is the first capital of Taiwan. The natural sites such as the salt mountian and marsh land is interesting for visit.

I feel Tainan is a charming small city very different from Taipei and has lots of history and nature parks.

Drive, Drive and Drive OR walk, keep walking... I think the traffic system is really really inconvenient !

It's a bit different from Taipei. Tainan is smaller but more in culture and cheaper gourmets here and there.

A very friendly city with many interesting and cool thing to do. Food are delicious. However, it is VERY hot in summer.

Some good sites, but if you're tight on travel time, and more of a nature lover, you may strike this city off your list.

I stayed 3 days & 2 nights. I think its just right. There are many salons that look really classy, some have their price stated in a big banner look out for those.

Just a great city to pay a visit, and enjoy the traditional Taiwanese Cuisine and the culture this city provides, make sure you rent a car and see for yourself !!!!

The city is not well developed economically, and has retained a certain degree of quaintness. The city is safe, but beyond the road name plates and official tourist sites, there are very few signs in English or any other foreign language.

Tainan has many historical locations with culture. It is the place where the commercial and business started in long time ago in Taiwan.

The old streets of Yanping street (or also known as Anping street) and the food available there are worth visiting the area.

A city full with history between Taiwan and other country. Lots of ancient building which is in good conditions and lots of delicious local foods along the street, spend 2 nights over here maybe you will discover more on this city.

Follow the Lonely Planet walking tour for all the major sites in the downtown area, it will probably take a entire day.

Better bring your own sunblock and keep on wrapping yourself with sunblock, the sunshine at Tainan is as hot as the inhabitant.

Unfortunately I was only there one night, and the weather was torrential rain, so couldn't explore as much as I wanted.

A city with different attractions where you can enjoy your life day and night. Do enjoy your time having various local snacks.

Tainan is really a symbolic place of Taiwan better than Taipei. People are so nice in there, and it shows the "Real" side of Taiwan.

Just to say that if your stay is near a temple...expect heaps of firecrackers and fireworks and they don't do it just at night.

Very religious and spiritual city, I spent half a day exploring its temples and walking around the old city and streets.

It's the oldest city in taiwan. A lot of temple & historical sights to go if u r interested in that area.

Tainan is a very friendly city, clean, quite and climte suitable for living. This city was the most rich area in Taiwan during the Chin dinasty and have lots culture spots for viewing.

The nite markets in Tainan are a must to go.. The variety of the food is a lot & ppl ard friendly enough to reccommand u the best.

Taipei is a cosmopolitan city with an efficient transportation network, Taichung is a friendly city, but TAINAN is truly the historical gem of the entire island.

Laid back place with no MRT. Just cab or public buses to move around. Tainan is well known for their local delicacies eg Coffin bread, Dan zai noodles etc.

One day isn't enough to discover Tainan... at least 2 days. Nonetheless, a trip to Tainan to experience the quaint old feel and culture is worth a mention!

Must visit the Night Flower market as it has the best food in the business. Be careful to check which days it is on as not open every day.
