Traveler impressions of Semporna
must visit the sibuan island, forget the mabul, kpalai and all those famous island if you are not a scuba diver.
the town is not very clean, you can see trash everywhere. locals are not very friendly, however the international diving schools are very good.
A pleasant, sleepy fishing district, language barrier may pose a challenge to visitors who do not understand the local dialects although people there do speak simple broken English.
It is ugly village, there is nothing to do, only diving. For Sipadan you need to make a reservation few days in advance or they will not take you there even that there are only 3 persons on a boat that day.

Easy access to nearby places as the hotel is in the town area and so closed to the new jetty.

Located in the middle of ocean reef - beautiful place to spend time at.

New hotel, spacious than the previous hotel that i stayed, near to jetty and food.
The host was very welcoming and understanding.
Staff very friendly, they work in a good humanity.
The owner and staff are very friendly and the room are also clean, there is supermarket and estaurant around the hotel as well.

Pros: can see the prosbocis monkey on the trees, beutiful sunset scene and much much of tropical experience with so little people ard.
Enjoyed my stay with very hospitable hosts and staffs.
Staying here for 3 nights with my family and we found that the staffs here are all nice and friendly.
