we only spent one night there. We will be returning for one or two nights in the future. A great weekend away to get back to nature.
Kangar? Other than its horrible chinese food, the slow going town. The only place to go sight seeing is the reservoir at Timah Tasoh & Gua Kelam.
must go and visit Kuala Perlis - lot of choices of food and stall. Variety type of fishes and other seafood with quite reasonable price.
A cave that served as the relationships the past. The cave has its own uniqueness. Please visit Dark Cave if the opportunity to visit Perlis.
Other than ladang harum manis which you have to drive aroynd 30 minutes away.. U may found some ther attraction like horse riding and museum
Kangar is a good place for relaxation. It is suitable for town people who would like to seek peaceful and see paddy fields not far from Kangar.
It is a place with tranquility, out of the busy and hectic life of a city. Nothing much for sight-seeing other than the scenic paddy fields.
Frankly, there aren't that much of attraction in Kangar. But, if one really must stop by Kangar, it can serve as a starting point to start a journey.

Small, old town. People are not very friendly and they stare at people without feeling guilty. It makes the tourist uneasy and feel like a suspect whereever they go.
