This hotel is located at the central of Hualien City. It is closed to many local restaurants. We went to the restaurants by walking.Also, the staff there were nice. Comfortable bed and fairly fast wifi.

Stayed for 4 days whilst visiting Hualien. Comfortable room with a window, good size separate bathroom. Bed was two singles together to make a king. Breakfast wasn't fantastic but it was appreciated. I would have no hesitation to stay again. 120NT Taxi from main Train station. Good location for food and restaurants and shopping. 10-15minute stroll to the ocean.

Unexpected hotel”
Quite far from hualien train station which is 25 minutes walk along the Zhongshan road until Minguo Road. The room is quite ok and cozy. However, it is a bit old and lack of maintenance. The bathroom floor is always wet (flooding) for outer part of the bathroom because the water could not drain out since there was partition. The Chinese type of breakfast is the same everyday and no juice given and my kids did not like the breakfast at all. Hence, breakfast need to be upgraded to its reputation given by reviewers. There was a common room on the ground floor near the reception area which provided free coffee, reading material, Internet access computers but no tibbits or biscuits given as stated.

The room was rather small, but the hotel was nicely located in the city centre. The bikes provided were old and could use a bit of an update. The beds were very hard! Not at all comfortable to sleep on.

A bit old fashion, sometimes will smell cigarette smell that comes from other rooms. Bathroom does not have bath mat. Wet feet does not have anything to wipe. Bed is too hard.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast menu was limited so skipped the breakfast included option if available. Lots of eateries within walking distance. Our room has a damp, wet smell to it, solved by airing and opening the windows for abit. But was there in spring, might be a little hot to do so in summer. Bed was abit too hard for my liking but otherwise decent.
