"Couple things that were not expected at the time of booking this hotel. Per Mikado web-page and Agoda listing, this hotel offered free parking and free breakfast and that was reflected in booking confirmation. The booking was done on February 7th. At arrival on February 22nd we were informed that free parking and breakfast are not available starting February 1st. Well, the parking fee is quite descent, $5 per night and because of they did not informed us correctly in advance of free stuff, we’ve been offered one day complimentary breakfast. Thanks to lady at front desk. The room was clean and nice, the hotel location is convenient, staff is friendly and polite. The issues with lights in the room were quickly fixed after we informed front desk. Agoda price per night for this hotel was the lowest what was available on line. I would recommend this hotel but make sure what is really included in your booking. "

"For a traveler to Western side of Los Angeles area, this is an ideal location, unless one has to go to the busy West LA and downtown area during the rush hours. The place is fine in almost all aspects. Inexpensive family restaurants are also near by. I chose this place because I had a planned visit to UC Riverside, and indeed I did not have much traffic problems starting from here (basically along the I-105 Fwy). This was much better than my last time from Westwood to Riverside, which was a nightmare during daytime! "

"This was a good choice for a first stop when travelling through. I only thing was the parking the underground parking was only for cars and we had 3 vans 14 seaters so we had to shuffle them around. the hotel was helpful though but if we stayed longer would have been a hassle. Good clean hotel for our group of 32 mixture of adults and kids. Pool was awesome great big size and depth. Brekkie was good too "

"This the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel, it is a 10 min walk to the citidale outlet shopping mall , and a cheaper option to the hotel opposite the mall.The hotel van shuttle van will also take you to other locations nearby ,and also to the outlet mall if you dont want to walk , but you must pre book the shuttle before required.Good size clean rooms."

"I needed a good but inexpensive hotel for my daughter and I to stay at while she competed in the So. CA state championships held at El Camino College. Her sport is expensive, so I can't afford nor do I need a luxury hotel as we were not in town to spend all of our time at a hotel. We needed a safe, clean, decent place to sleep and get ready for the weekend competition. We were very happy to stay at the Gardena Terrace Inn: zen-like, quiet, gardens. It is not fancy, but who cares about a fancy lobby? I've stayed in chain hotels that had poor quality rooms and fancy lobbies. The Gardena Terrace isn't fancy on the outside, but it is safe, plenty of parking (felt that my car was secure) and the staff is wonderful, very nice and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Good location close to stores, restaurants, pharmacy."
