"Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, it is a convenient location. The rooms re small, older, and non very well maintained. Floors were cracked, chipping paint, etc. The air conditioner was very noisy and I kept waking up from the noise, even though my earplugs. I would have expected more from the price. Employees were very gracious and willing to help."

"The social room on the 1st floor is awesome, it feels like a bar atmosphere and I thought it was one at first where you order drinks etc.. That said, I don't think can justify paying over $50 a night for a dorm bed in a hostel, but maybe that's just because it is Los Angeles. Pricey spot."

"This hotel is located only about 10-15 minutes drive from LAX, and just around the corner from the car rental places, and right next to a freeway, which is very convenient. While the planes whiz right by the hotel, and the cars whiz right by on the freeway, the windows must be double glazed or similar because it isn't overly noisy. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff were very helpful. Parking can be a bit of an issue as there is limited parking available - however it is free so that is a bonus. The included breakfast is really not very good at all, so you may want to get your own breakfast. They did have DIY waffles though, which were nice. Try not to get ground floor rooms, as some of them are located between the lobby and the lifts to go upstairs, and I would imagine these would be noisy. We stayed on a high level, had good views and it was quiet."

"Very very near to Disneyland. It was literally just 5minutes walk. Lots of food outside the hotel, and the hotel also provides discount to the pizzeria next door (tastes really good, too). Hotel has a lot of facilities to enjoy, a nice large pool, a large souvenir store that sells authentic disney merch for cheap, and i saw signboards for games and events by the yard too. I like how the wash basin counter in the room is super long and spacious, and they have the 3pin power socket there too (UK appliances). Overall, hotel is spacious and well kept. Lots of trees that vibes the streets of LA. I loved my stay there. "

"We had a great stay here. When i booked the room online, i booked a kids suite. When i checked in i was upgraded because they are remodeling and didn't have any kids suites available. So they ended up giving me two connected rooms. One room was a one king bed room and the other was two queen sized beds and it was Disney themed. My kids loved it! There were Disney characters on the walls in the room and in the bathroom it was all mickey. I was worried after reading some bad reviews before we arrived but i can say we had a great stay! everything turned out awesome! Also the restaurant attached to the hotel is very yummy! They also do the room service but they add 18% gratuity and a delivery fee. So a meal that cost 45 dollars ended up being 66 dollars. We ate there twice, first time as room service and the second time my husband went and picked up the food so we didn't have to pay all the extras. Overall for the price and how close it was to Disneyland (about a 5 minute drive) it was the perfect hotel for us. "

"hotel location was great, it's within downtown and close to lots of convenience. it's close to the underground station, restaurants, convenience stores and within downtown area along the min street. hotel room was nice and spacious, our bed is comfy, basically everything has no complaints given this is merely a 3 star hotel. i like the japanese theme of this hotel, it feels zen! staff were nice and they are willing to help us book a rental car, give us d directions, suggestions.... definitely going back to this hotel in la"
