"I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and the check in process was quick. Posted signs in the lobby area and elevator stated the hotel was not responsible of items left in the hotel room (very reassuring). The room was painted in a bright pink and had no windows, save for one facing into a light shaft. The bath was very scruffy, with the tiles and fixtures stained by rust and mineral deposits. There was no toilet paper in the long neglected holder. The room had two large bath towels but no hand towels. The knob for the shower fixture did not stay on and had to be held with one hand to keep the water flowing. The bed covers were clean but looked to be permanently stained with tea. The promised in-room wi-fi had a strong signal, but was useless for anything but emails without attachment and even that simple process was painfully slow. I could not access a single website in my room. Because the common area floors have no carpeting, any sound carries quite clearly around the entire floor. Coughing, talking and the crying of children could be clearly heard in my room. At 3:00 a.m. a gentleman carried on an hour-long cell phone conversation at the top of his voice, ruining any hope of a decent night's rest. I decided to forgo the second night stay here and checked back in to the hotel in Bahla. The longer drive was worth the internet access and peace and quiet at night. Positives: Wi-fi did work in the lobby. The staff was helpful and friendly. Bottom line, I suppose I got what I paid for, but I expected better based on the description on the Agoda website. I would not stay here again."
