Great place to relax”
This is one of the best Taiwan Hot Spring hotel that we've visited, Silence Manor are in a seclude area, great environment, just a bit far from the nearby town. Other than this, everything else are just great, the rooms are large, nicely decorated, the hot spring are very good, the food are good too, nice presentation and taste good for a hotel in Hualien. Their staff are friendly, bilingual and go out of their way to help the guest. We will come back the next time we are in Hualien. Next time, we can take the train to Ruisui Train Station and use the hotel shuttle.

Special hot spring hotel in natural location ”
The Silence Manor was a lovely hotel. We had good communication from the hotel before we arrived via email. We were personally welcomed into the hotel on arrival. Our room was lovely with lots of complementary food and drink, beautiful kimono and a hot spring bath and balcony. The evening meal was outstanding and value for money; five beautifully presented courses - the chef must be commended. We used the upstairs bathhouses which were open air and very relaxing. The location was full of nature such as frogs with a pond in the garden. The staff spoken only little English but we got on find and they were very pleased to help. The breakfast was delicious with a choice of Chinese or western. There were lots of amenities such as bike hire which we would have tried if we stayed longer. The only downside was the cool water pool which had algae in it because it was natural water but was a bit off putting. Would definitely stay here again - thank you!

Fantastic environment and service”
Wonderful view. Quiet in the surrounding area that you can only hear birds,wind and trees. The private hot spring in room is very nice that you can taste the atmosphere. Room is clean and tidy. For the dinner,staff is kind to ask for your hate or allergy food in email after you book the room. Nice dinner. Manor provide free picking up service from Ruisui station, and also the return route. But need improvement on car arrangement because I can’t find which car is it outside station.

Clean with beautiful scenery during breakfast”
Room was very spacious and clean with lots of free snacks and drinks! Toilet is huge as well and with warm seats! What a luxury to be here. Beautiful scenery and comfortable beds. Breakfast is also decent with beautiful mountain views. Served by 2 ladies, they are efficient and swift to help with the check-in. However they had no bellboy so if you are lugging your luggage, it will be a bit troublesome. It is a quiet manor so after 10pm, there could be issues if you are using the hot spring tub with the sound of water splashing, it may affect the sleep of other guests. Nothing much to complain about, though I feel a wooden stool in the toilet would have made it perfect. Will certainly return again!

Quiet but too out of the way to be worthwhile. Beware of I inconsistent booking on including dinner.”
It is over an hour away from city of Hualien by taxi, driving through some pretty unattractive country side to get there. We looked at each other could not imagine ending up in a resort even till the end of the car ride. One step out of the property you are in scrubby farmland with absolutely nothing around for miles. I booked two room separately one for me and another one for my friend for the same night booked within a day of each other. The price was $10 apart, but found out later that one includes dinner but the other did not. In order for us to dine together, I had to pay >$40 extra for dinner which is NOT worth the money. This is already on top of the room cost which is more than twice what I was paying for an equivalent quality room in Hualien, which includes breakfast much much better than the one served in Silence Manor. On the plus side, the staff could not be more helpful and courteous. The facility is quiet, relaxing and very clean but mediocre. Very little to do.

Clean and sleek modern designed house. There is hot spring in the room as well as.the third floor. Seems that there is only one TV channel. Breakfast and dinner are provided. They provide fusion food. They baked their own.bread, created their own menu. They served turkey on.Boxing Day too, which was a pleasant surprise, since Taiwanese don't celebrate Christmas Day. The only downside is being chased by staff when.they don't see us turning up on the dot at the restaurant; not a minute of grace. This can be a bit of irrate than good service as we have young kids on hand.

It's a little isolated, but that's also a plus if you're looking to get away from it all. Free bikes allow you to explore the local countryside, and soak up the real Taiwan. Private hot springs in the ground floor rooms are a nice touch of luxury. The staff were excellent and very attentive to specific requirements. Would love to go back.

Location is great - if you want to be in the middle of nowhere! Stylish room, with the incredible benefit of having hot springs water piped straight into a tub in the bathroom. Breakfast was splendid: the first time that I've truly enjoyed eating congee. I'm keen to return, and next time make full use of the outdoor pool too.

This place is like heaven on earth. You will find all your stress is dissolved in the serene environment surrounded by nature and the mountain. It is simply beautiful. We wish we have stayed longer. The French style dinner is meticulously prepared and very delicious. The friendliness of the staff is so endearing. It is a perfect spot to stay. Strongly recommended.

It's a very considerate B&B. We celebrated my mom's 70's birthday there and they customized meal and cake for my mom and her foreign help. The scene is phenomenal and the food is beyond standard. We had a great time there. Wish we would visit again.

We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and bike riding. They had nice bikes we could ride around. Food wasn't our style lots of cold premise things but the hot spring tub and beautiful scenery more than made up for it.
