Quiet and clean Hotel in a good location ”
I was there during the coronavirus epidemics in Shanghai, not many people stay in the hotel. The room is large, bathroom clean, plenty of shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast is nice, only a few people ate breakfast each morning. I think Plenty of choicesEnd it is good! Only thing is the location is a little bit walking distance to Ward subway subway station. I didn’t find bus station nearby, that is a little difficult to get to the west 南京 road。 commercial district.

Excellent Hotel”
Stayed at the Longemont for a week in late 2009. What a great stay! The service is great and the rooms are excellent. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest Metro, but taxi's are cheap and readily available. There is a great/cheap massage place just next to the hotel (just to the right of the more expensive spa). We had a little difficulty in getting the room as cool as we would like it, but we were there in the dead of winter. The chocolate filled pastries were a great way to start the day. Wish there were more great hotels like the Longemont!

Very Nice Hotel”
Upscale and affordable luxury-style hotel in Shanghai, the Longemont has good food, comfortable and clean rooms, and with a high-level room, a scenic view of Shanghai. Centrally located, it is a great launching point for either a cultural tour of Shanghai or a night out in town.

Longemont Hotel Shanghai”
When we checked in, due to breakfast not being included in the room cost, I went to purchase and pay for breakfasts and it was very expensive! The receptionist offered a room upgrade to exec level, 54th floor which included breakfast, exec club access etc for an additional 800RMB, so I took it - excellent choice, however, this did put the room into a 250 or so per night price bracket and I could have been in the Hilton or a Westin for that amount. The room was excellent, and the bathroom and shower with separate huge bath was a welcome sight after the Ibis we had been staying in at Harbin. Floor to ceiling windows offered a second to none view of Shanghai, fresh fruit in the room, a good choice of bars and eateries to suit most budgets are at the hotel - assuming if you are staying there, you can afford reasonably expensive meals. The staff oozed 5 star quality, spoke excellent English and may our 2 nights there a joy. Location is a little out of the way if you want to use the Metro, but taxis are cheap, and there is a station about 20 mins walk from the hotel. All in all and excellent experience. This is also my last of 3 reviews and I need to point out that Agoda have my business from here on in for all Asian room bookings - I stay in a lot of hotels every year, and usually use another booking engine nowhere near as efficient as Agoda

Good value for money”
Longemont surprised me with its room quality - bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable, clean, soft bed, large bathroom/shower. Location is not bad in central Shanghai but it's along a main road and freeway exit so quite crowded with traffic and a bit of a walk to the subway station through crowded streets (15 mins). Breakfast buffet is ok, quality is not great for its price of 148 RMB. But overall, I wouldn't mind staying here again! Good value for its price

The hotel never let me down”
The hotel's hospitality is outstanding. They remember the past requests I made and setup everything as I requested (in the past). I have never had such experience with other famous five-star hotels worldwide. The room is gorgeous, nice and clean. China hotels usually have a lot of water related issues, but I never had any issues at all. High floor view is amazing always at night while chill-down with friends. You could sleep completely with relaxing room and comfortable bed. Breakfast has a lot of choices from both western and Chinese. The one thing bad about is a lack of transportaion (ie. Taxi) at evening. But, you will face as same situation as other hotels in Shanghai. Subway station for Line 2 is approx 10 min away.

Location with easy access to freeway”
I have stayed at the Longemont a number of times now. It is easily accesable from either of the two airports in Shanghai. It is situated very close to the freeway so very easy to get out of the busy city area if you need to travel out of the city. It is conveniently located for great shopping and eating and I can recommend this hotel to anyone going to Shanghai who wants a good hotel without paying crazy prices.

Good Value and Location to Airport”
Can definitely recommend The Longemont Shanghai Hotel for its value and its location for easy access to the freeway road network in Shanghai as we all know how busy the roads are. the rooms are big and absolutely spotlessly clean. The hotel is also close enough to major shopping area's and taxi's are easy to get from the hotel.

The facilities of the Longemont are great: great swimming pool with a jaccuzy; the view on shanghai from the pool is nice. The rooms are big and the bathroom is very modern and of good quality. The service is good and discrete. Great stay for 6 days.

Perfect design”
It was our first stay in Shanghai and definitely we recomend this hotel for everyone. Large and very comfortable rooms, wonderfuul bathroom and rain drop shower, lights inside the room, view on whole city! Everything in design is perfect. Cons. Breakfast is very big but to costly. 3 restaurants are nice but costly again - and no surprises in food. 15 min. from city center by taxi.

Since I discovered it, the Longemont is now my preferred stay in Shanghai. Not far from Hongqiao and with a great swimming pool. Everything is very comfortable and the service is good if not exceptional. Very clean.

i enjoyed the longemont and will staying there again during my next trip. i thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the room was clean, safe, and the service was very attentive. the restuarants were very good, and the buffet at the main restaurant was excellent and the sunday brunch is really great.

Superb hotel. Excellent service, facilities and cleanliness. Only stayed 1 night so didn't get to take advantage of all the facilities on offer but room was top class. Free high speed wifi, SAT TV, HBO, good soft bed, magnificent view overlooking city. Great room. Good bathroom with big tub. While not in CBD close enough to get everywhere easily (just don't drive peak hour shanghai traffic is bad) either taxi or metro. Couple conscience stores close by. Good bar/lounge in lobby. Great service on front desk, concierge etc

The Regent is a very good located hotel for business and pleasure. The staff speaks english and they are very helpfull, also to find good restaurants and bars. The rooms are very well equiped, also the lobby is fantastic. The rooms are also very silents. I will be back in this hotel next time when I visit Shanghai again. The breakfast is very well done.

Great affordable hotel”
First time I stayed here and on this side of Shanghai. Arriving at night in any city in China is a challenge, but the hotel renovations took a great chunk out of that. The room was spacious and well decorated with one of the largest bathrooms I've ever come across. On the con-side, the restaurant next to the hotel has local Chinese cuisine but does not accept international credit cards. Not a fault on the hotel, but something to be aware of since there are not too many eateries around the hotel. I would stay here again next time for sure.

Hv been staying there whenever I am in shanghai for biz since 2004 and my last stay was in Jan 2010 for a week. The rates are reasonable for a 5-Star hotel and it is in a great location and easy getting on and off the highway except hv to watch out for heavy traffic during the peak hours. The rooms are clean and big, most important of all, believed it has one of the most comfortable beds I hv ever rest on. Enjoy ur stay here......
