The hotel is fairly near to Taroko Gorge (which served the purpose of my trip) and Xincheng train station. There is a self laundrette right next to it and a restaurant called Good Food which served delicious local food is around the corner of the hotel. There is a water dispenser at the lobby area which is super convenient and the room's bathroom has a heater. But what impressed me the most is the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel. I felt very comfortable from the moment i stepped into the hotel. The staffs were very friendly n helpful too. The hotel has a nice garden as well. Highly recommended.

This hotel is not located at the heart of hualien city however, this hotel made us feel very welcomed. It feels like a home away from home and if you are driving or have a driver, the location isn't an issue. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay ! We were warmly greeted upon check in , and again warmly welcomed for breakfast. Their items were all home made and I could easily see the passion in what they do. A perfect stay for us!

One can feel at home in this polished hotel. Amazing experience to say the least. Experience it and you will find it hard not to be wowed by the awesome hospitality. Small things like an email from hotel to initiate complimentary pick up service and provision of 24/7 light refreshment at the cosy lobby. And there’s endearing cats at the premise too that will make your day. Buffet Breakfast and Alacarte dinner was fantastic too!

A Place To Remember”
I felt a deep connection with this place. I loved the fragrant smell of cypress and flower tea that welcomed us when we arrived. The rooms have views of the mountain, giving us feel of calmness and serenity. The rooms are well-interiored too with hardwood. I especially loved its marbled and heated bathrooms. The staff were sincere in their welcome. The entire place has a cozy and intimate feel. I especially loved their collection of books that I enjoyed reading with their free-flowing coffee and tea. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger and stay awhile longer. I'm definitely not the kind who writes reviews but this is my way of saying thank you to the wonderful staff of Taroko Liiko Hotel!

The staff and owner are extremely nice and accommodating. Facilities are new and tastefully decorated. Rooms and the bathroom are very nice, well-equipped with a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast is excellent with many Taiwanese and continental options. Location is very convenient as it is close to the train station, shops, restaurants and bus stop for Taroko. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant - the food was locally sourced and delicious.

Perfect location, very friendly, super clean”
When we first arrived we were a little disappointed bc the hotel is quite expensive and doesn't have some of the facilities associated with those prices (no pool, no tub, no robes, etc), but the wonderful staff, beautiful garden, and fantastic breakfast more than made up for those things. The location is SUPER convenient to Taroko; about as good as it gets without being right in the park. The staff is lovely and the common area is beautiful and comfy. They also offer 24 hour coffee, tea, cocoa, and small snacks. Not many restaurant options in area, so be sure to make a dinner plan before 6pm unless you want to have instant noodles from 711 every night.

Beautiful and clean hotel with wonderful staff. The breakfast was good and the dinners were great! So close to Taroko Gorge. We borrowed their bikes and went to the beach and explored the town. I most definitely would stay again!!

Found a gem ! Although location is very near Taroko entrance, the hospitality and fresh sustainable dining menu made up for it. The hotel has a homey & boutique hotel environment. Lady boss was there to chat with us during breakfast & I like the way they decorated the lobby with displays made of wood that gave a warming ambience..
