My Stay for Business/Work”
This would be my third time in Tagaytay Garden Budgetel. I highly recommend this place for backpacker, travelers on a budget and employees who wanted to stay if your home base is in Makati. The Place has a relaxed setting and Affordable.

Budget friendly hotel”
Me and my partner stayed here for one night and we enjoyed it. The staffs are nice too. The room and our stay is worth the price. I can recommend some improvements for the toilet/bath room as well as the TV as it is not working well (not sure if that was just in our room or the signal was not good because of the rain). If I were to go back to Tagaytay, I will definitely stay here again. Simple and affordable place with nice people. Kudos!

VERY BASIC BUT THAT'S WHAT YOU PAY FOR”
The room was so basic. Good air-conditioning but unstable wi-fi and it has no mobile signal inside the room. I love the lobby, it's so cute. The staff were nice and friendy. Again it was so basic like they don't have toiletries. They provide towel so it's okay. There is a sari-sari store near the hostel where you can buy toiletries at an affordable price. There is also a 7-Eleven store but so expensive. The location is perfect. You can see the lake at the back of the hostel. It is near Tagaytay Rotunda where you can take a bus ride going back to Manila. When it comes to food, they don't sell or have food but the hostel is near McDo, Mang Inasal, JT's Manukan and a mall.

A very mimpressive budgetel”
The place is new and probably the cheapest in Tagaytay center yet we were quite impressed with the service and the design of the place! The guesthouse is very nice and well decorated. Wee took lots of pictures with my company and the Taal Lake view can be seen from the very beautiful balcony!

Good value for money. Cozy, quiet, restful. ”
We really enjoyed. 7 of us girls shared the one room for 7. It's cheap to stay and cozy and clean. Great location around the main part of tagaytay, walking distance to 7-11 and down the road from Ayala malls. They have a nice little garden hang out spot where we had dinner and star gazed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing is parking is a bit tricky. They have private space for parking but tight. Overall, we loved it. We will definitely be back!!

Excellent”
it was quaint, and it was our first time to book a hostel. there were a handful of comfort rooms, so thankfully we were able to do our "comforts" without much delay. when we stayed there, their internet was not working and the cellular signal was so poor. it's ok to stay here if you're out the whole day touring tagaytay. you can do some walking going to the rotunda to find something to eat.

This place is nice and very affordable!”
This place is worth more than you pay for. The atmosphere is very nice, and also located quite close to the roundabout. One thing though was that the location indicated in maps is kind of far from where the budgetel really was. In terms of cleanliness it was kind of good, but apparently a fellow traveler puked all over everywhere and they were not able to completely clean it up when we woke up. Nevertheless I would still recommend this place!

Budget Homestay”
It is a house with different rooms with shared toilets. The view is great during mornings at the living room you can oversee Taal Volcano. It is nice to have breakfast by the living room overlooking Taal. They also offer shared kitchen where you can cook food for your family, though we didn't get to try because there's Mcdo nearby and a lot of other restaurants. They have parking but limited, very limited to 2 cars and its really hard to move around the parking. Not advisable if you have older relative because to go to the homestay you need to climb down stairs and if you need to go out you again need to climb upstairs. Unless your older relative doesn't mind climbing upstairs everytime you need to go out and roam around Tagaytay. However the place is just along side the road, easy if you just wanted to take a jeep to Picnic Grove or Sky Ranch, or take a trike to rotonda or the market.

Great Value”
For the money, you get more than you pay for. Backyard and common area have great views and are pleasant to hang out. Rooms are fine, bathrooms fine but there are not many given the amount of guests the place holds. Good budget option in Tagaytay, can easily walk to Rotunda area.

The Garden is wonderful and you can see the lake from it. The Staff is nice and helpful. We booked two bunkbeds in a 6 bed dorm but we stayed in a three bed dorm which we had for ourself (thanks to low season I guess). There are healthy and well nourished cats in the garden, something that I really appreciate on he Philippines, since the look at almost all the animals here breaks my heart... So for me: healthy animals = good people :-) There are tons of Restaurants within 5 Minutes walking and a 7 eleven some meters away.

Fantastic Budgetel. Better than Hotels”
Impressive place! They had renovated the place and give it a very cozy look! What you see in the picture is what you get. They even upgraded our room to a room with an attached bath! They also have a spacious garden space if you just want to hang around at night with a bottle of beer!

Millennial Vibe”
I felt more like a house that was converted to a bugdetel. It’s good to stay here in groups and use their garden for some drinking sessions. Overall, it has the basics that you need to get through the night for short stays.

Not coming back”
If you're with friends and don't intend to stay much in the room -- you just want a place to sleep in -- then this place would be perfect. It's cheap, and location is near the rotunda. But I won't go back there with my family: 1) The TV is mounted way too high in the wall, 2) the cable sucks, 3) the room info in Agoda says there is fridge and shower in the room - there weren't any, 4) there's only one bathroom shared by 6 doors. In other words, if you went to Tagaytay to feel like you're out of town, this is not the place to stay in. It's my bad really because I believed the good reviews posted. But hey, for its cheap price, the place is okay. It's just not for me and my family.

Decent place”
You get what you paid for. Pros: Location, nice garden with Taal view, stable internet, friendly staff. Cons: The room smelled a bit. Maybe they need to air out the mattress from time to time. Other guests are smoking near the common area.

The price is right for an instant booking. I needed a place to stay for a conference. The staff was accommodating. The place is near the rotonda. It was great, I was able to sleep well. The place is spacious. However, the wifi was not working during my stay.

Very good value for the price for you low budget people out there. Really good curtains to keep the room dark at night, slept like a baby. You can get things cheaper than they state at the reception.

A home far away”
Stayed here for 2 weeks. if you just want a place to sleep, unwind, or study, this is the best place for you. Nothing fancy, but so calm and peaceful. Staff are accomodating. Rooms are clean. Two thumbs up!
