hotel inside a country club”
At first, we had difficulty finding this hotel because it is our first time to travel here in Tagaytay City. We asked a couple of locales about the direction until we found it. We didn't know that Alfonso, Cavite is a bit far from the city, I think it's about 5-8 kms. away from the central district of Tagaytay. I was bit disappointed because in my thought, this would add up on my gasoline consumption considering that everytime we wanted to go somewhere, I have to travel the said distance again. But I started to appreciate the place when we decided to take our rest. The place was so quiet and the cool breeze of the wind makes it more special. The scent of the pines surrounding the hotel was one of a kind. Our room was really clean, but I suggest to upgrade their television, they are still using the CRT type where most of their competitors are now using LCD/LED's. The breakfast was also good, love the fruits served on the side.

A quiet getaway”
We were looking for the best-looking hotel on a budget near a friend's wedding venue. At first we saw Amorsolo Hotel but the photos didn't look appealing. For the same price Sunrise Holiday Mansion's exterior & interior was far more charming. It's quaint, a little victorian & somewhat has the vibe of the hotel in The Shining. It looks new so we were surprised to learn it's 18 yrs old. We loved the ambience so much we were joking to head back to the hotel asap. The rating for the location could be higher but it's not for commuters. It's really for travelers who have a private vehicle. The upside is you can jog in the area (there's no gym) the downside is there are no buses, taxis/public vehicle passing by there & you'll need a ride should you want to go to any commercial establishment. At night the roads and the way to the hotel is poorly lit so a word of caution for night-time check-ins. There's really not much with the dining but I had the best pancakes ever here. They ran out of hashbrowns which was a bit disappointing. The free breakfast was really lame because it's only garlic rice & hotdog, not versatile. What about those who are vegan? But the cafe area was lovely. The time we went there it was just us and we basked in the peace. Just walking distance is Amorsolo Hotel's Italian restaurant. The room & bathroom was large for the price. It was really nice but the air-con could be colder. Maybe the room we got had a weak one but we didn't bother to tell the clerk. There's no wifi, it's only at the lobby. We appreciated the effort of the hotel to provide a book of places & activities in the area but it wasn't updated. There's no Sky Ranch yet nor current commercial establishments. They should also include the Orlina Museum and the World's Largest Puzzle. Overall it's a quiet and charming getaway for the price to those driving who suddenly have the urge to stay in Amorsolo, Tagaytay.

Reasonable priced hotel in Tagaytay”
Their room rate is very reasonable. I would say that they are one of the most reasonable priced hotels in Tagaytay. Their Studio Deluxe Room is spacious enough for two adults and a child. We were happy with the hotel amenities. (cozy lobby, swimming pool, roof deck gazebo, jacuzzi, sauna bath & bistro restaurant) Although, their swimming pool doesn't have a heater but it could be perfect during summertime. My child did not stay that long in the pool because it’s quite cold. Btw, we booked this February. The staff are accommodating, quick to deliver our request and friendly.

good hotel but little far ”
We enjoyed our stay in Sunrise holiday mansion because staffs are accomodating and we had a spacious room which was executive villa. We thought it only have one room but we're surprised because it has an extra room which we didn't use bec. We're only 3 guests. Hotel provided us a service which we were satisfied. It has pool and resto but only until 9pm. We are a little bit disappointed with the location because it is far from city center, if you want to visit other places like picnic grove, etc., because it's a bit distant. It is okay if you have car because you don't need to walk going to the road to ride a jeepney.

Quite and perfect for private time”
the sunrise holiday mansion hotel is perfect for big families. it is a nice weekend get away for a family of 5-8, if you're going to get the junior suite. it has basic amenities (e.g. coffee shop, pool). it is very isolated and it is perfect for those who want to get away from the noise of the metro

Value for money”
3rd time to stay in Sunrise Hotel. The rooms are big as well as the living room, great for family or group accommodation. The hotel restaurant was once closed at night during one of our visits, our only option was to drive out to get some food and it could be a hassle if you don't have a car. The location could also be a lil bit tricky as its inside a residential village. The pool is small but clean. 4/5 for me.

Safe location with accomodating staff”
it was a long drive to tagaytay because of the traffic; understood that it was then peak season for a long holiday, "holy week" in our country, so most families unwind to the second summer capital of the philippines. we are almost lost for the direction but at least we arrived before sunset. signage is lacking and you will be confused of the direction, and later to realize that its location is really within the subdivision, royal tagaytay estate so you will really pass by the entrance of the village. so far, its good to unwind, since you are far from the noise of the cars at the highway. big room, but i requested for another room because the first room assigned was the aircon is almost "dilapidated"; i mean the louver is defective and air conditioning not functioning well. only the staff are accommodating which is the only consolation.

Value for money”
Agoda has the cheapest price for this hotel. I booked two nights and it only cost me P5,500++ as compared to P3,800 /night if you booked it directly in the hotel. The executive room that I booked comes with a set breakfast for 4pax. The room is very spacious. It consist of 2 bedrooms, 2 toilet and bath , kitchen/dining area and living room. The amenities were quite old. The sofa set needs to be replaced but the beds (1 queen and 2 singles) were ok. There is a ref but no microwave nor a stove. The cold water in one of the bathroom is not working only the hot water. This hotel is located near royal tagaytay estates. There is an ample parking and the place is very quiet. Although the hotel is old, it is quite cleAn and the staff were all friendly and courteous. Will come back again.

Good hotel”
I liked my stay here. It is a great reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Tagaytay City. It allows you to relax while still enjoying the cool Tagaytay weather. Rooms are very spacious and has a balcony. Very worth the price.

Value for money and location is perfect”
We brought some food left overs from our Bag of Beans lunch to our hotel. In the morning, we requested the Bistro/hotel restaurant staff to heat it so we can eat the food together with our free breakfast. The staff were very accommodating and they even provided more condiments to compliment the additional food without us asking. That is 5star customer service! Location was superb and though we were a few kilometers away from the city, the vacation became more relaxing because traffic jam endured was very minimal in the area. Wifi was strong in the lobby but would recommend that the hotel put wifi in the rooms to attract more customers. Will definitely come back. :) My kid had an awesome time.

Old hotel”
Good bed and linens but the hotel looks really old. But the room was BIG and it has its own veranda. TV was not flat screen and remote control wasn't working well. The room has mini ref. Not bad for a 1 night stay in Tagaytay.. though you need to have your own car when you stay here as it is quite far from Tagaytay city center.

We enjoyed coming here.”
If you don't mind a long walk, its location is great. Trip to store with a vehicle isn't far at all. Their rooms are spacious and relaxing. The view from our room was okay – not a big fan of seeing houses in the morning. But it wasn't a big a deal. Coffee was not available in our room. But can get them from their cafeteria. Their staff were great.

With how much we paid for standard room, we are happy customers. The breakfast included in the hotel bill may be simple, but the restaurant offers additional choices which are appropriately-priced.

Good Value Hotel”
I stayed with a few friends and a young child. The child enjoyed the swimming pool and the hotel experience in general. It was a very good value for the price paid. I wish they had a bigger breakfast selection after staying at the Eastwood Richmonde which has an awesome buffet. But for the price, it was a very good value.

Quiet environment”
it's a great halfway hotel for those traveling to batangas beaches who would like to feel the cool air of tagaytay. the hotel, though, is not accessible by public transportation; it's about 400 meters from the main road. the room where we stayed (3pax) was relatively spacious that can accommodate an extra bed without sacrificing mobility. the room assigned to us though gave a stale air smell. it looks like the room was not occupied for quite sometime, and the windows were never opened. breakfast meal was acceptable with 2 main courses, rice, and local fruits. personnel were courteous.

Excellent”
the hotel is beautiful despite being old and a lacking on maintenance like new paint. the staff made our stay comfortable. i would have given a higher rating if the elevator was working. we were given a room at the 5th floor and we needede to climb up and down the stairs because they have no elevator.

Pros outweigh the cons in my opinion”
I had low expectations due to the bad reviews but overall we enjoyed our stay. Upon checkin we immediately checked the room facilities, hot water, tv/cable, aircon, toilet flush and reported if any fixtures were needed to be looked at. They immediately sent someone to check for the defective lamp at the living room though not sure if they were able to fix it. The room was huge and although there were no complimentary water bottles, one can refill at the lobby or call for them to bring hot water upon request. They were not accommodating initially in extending our checkout time for about an hour (despite us having checked in late the night before) but gave in eventually after having a friendly chat. I agree that some fixtures need to be fixed or updated (door a little bit hard to open with key, faucets, leak under the toilet sink, cabinet drawer falling apart, even the folder with welcome message already ripped) but not a dealbreaker for me. I would still recommend this place and would consider staying here again in the future because of the value for money.

Huge hotel but poor maintenance!”
We only booked the room for 1 night but we got 2 rooms though....the hotel got an awesome interior design but poor maintenance. Everything is old from appliances to furniture. We checked in at night and i find the place a bit creepy, sad ambiance probably coz of their lighting which is dark but when we woke up, everything was changed....the creepy and sad room at night turned into a very beautiful room with good views of nature, with their large windows you can see the sunrise and it will make your day! I appreciate this hotel the next day, i see all the staffs are busy, amazed by the decoration and how big this mansion is....
