Some Bed and Breakfast lodges in this neighborhood with similar price range in the area offer cooked breakfast. We got school lunch like sandwich for breakfast. other than that, it's good location with some ocean views in selected rooms, and good access to the big night market nearby.

Great venue, Cosy and fantastic service”
My husband and I stayed here for the past 3 days and it was beyond our expectations. The 2 owners, Aaron and Ken went over and above to explain the area, made sure we felt comfortable and at home. The room has excellent sea view and is very cosy and clean. The place is in close proximity to good food, the night market, shopping area and the beach. Aaron also helped us book a driver for us to go to Taroko National Park at the last minute as we did not prepare much for this trip. He also dropped us off at the train station when we were leaving Hualien. Great owners and we absolutely love their hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Hualien!

Expectations were set a little too high due to the beautiful pictures and website this hotel has. However, there's no big complaints here as the rooms were decently clean, spacious enough and friendly and helpful staff. There were bicycles for you to use free of charge, and location is quite strategic. If you're heading there via google maps, you wont find it by keying in the english name "Slow Living B&B". It will bring you to a wrong, secluded place. Overall satisfied with our stay, but for the price it's a little over rated.

On top of having one of the best ocean view in Hualien, a very accessible location and the most yummy homemade breakfast. The staff Ken and Aaron were the most friendly and helpful staff around. They were attentive and show genuine concern throughout our stay. Before our departure, they gave us some local snack and chocolates for our children. They make this place unforgettable.

Retro and laidback ”
Instantly love the decor of this place. Guarantee you that no one room is going to look alike. The furniture has character of its own and they are being used to fix into the theme of each decorated room. The one truly amazing thing is that the owners added personal touch to places many hotel don’t consider. Hangers found in bathroom where we need it most, USB outlet to charge mobile at the place we prefer to place, small lightings all around, power plug you can find almost at all 4 walks. Didn’t I book this place for the sea views? Yes I did but I was wowed more by the thoughtfulness of the owner. Thanks Aaron and Ken for helping us with the transport and packing our breakfast when we need to checkout early morning. Love to be back next time.

Great sea-facing minsu that is close to the night market!”
It is locates within a ten minutes' stroll from the night market. Our room on the second floor faces the sea. It is obvious that the place was lovingly setup and furnished with carefully selected pieces with quality finishing. Breakfast is served to the room daily - yummy and large portions!

Perfect view and location”
Wonderful host, wonderful location and view! Host is friendly and gave tips on where to visit during our 2 days stay at hua lian. Breakfast is served in our room where you can while admiring the view. On our last day, the host even pack breads for us as we had to leave by 6am. Definitely will come back to stay if I'm at hualian

This is a beautiful boutique minsu hotel. The room is large with intersting decoration and beautiful sea view. Moring sunrise can be viewed in the room. Staff and owner are friendly. It is about 10 mins walking distance to night market and 20 mins to town centre.

離東大門夜市跟市區都很近，然後因為到的時候已經下午，附近已經滿車，老闆人很好把自己的車開走給我們停，這次入住最高層的海景房，一入門整個很驚艷，超大海景，民宿很乾淨，服務很棒，下次有機會還會再來！
