we've stay in camayan beach resort for two nights, all the experience was perfect. hotel deluxe room is really nice, big balcony is a plus. my favorite event to do in hotel is kayaking, i'll give it 9/10 of this kayaking experience, the bay is really quite and no wave, i really enjoyed the stay in camayan beach resort. i think they have the best service and best environment in whole subic bay, especially the beach is really clean and safe. we will visit this place one more time with our family. oh, don't forget the ocean adventure next door, if you stay in camayan, you can also get the 20% off for the tickets.

I brought my family and stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. The location was good as it is near to shopping malls, restaurants, Marina Bay pool and seaside. Overall stay was very good due to the daily cleaning, they fix our bed every morning and food was ok. After our stay, we left the place and head back to Manila safely. However, it was only then that I found out I left my External Hard drive at the back of the TV (Because we are watching some movies). I called the hotel immediately and informed them, but they told me that the room that we occupied was taken that day so they can only check it the following day. The next day, they contacted me and told me that they found my Hard Drive and asked for my address. They immediately sent it to me free of charge! Now that is Customer Service at its best! Kudos to the staff, we will definitely stay at this hotel once we visit Subic again.

It was a last minute booking, which turned out to be a good surprise. Facilities: Casitas would be the best place to experience the serenity of the place. Even if it was a good walk from the building, room service and any other requests were provided on a timely manner. Reception was in the restaurant which was not typical. Water equipment like kayaks would've been awesome if it was free to use. Beach is very clean, a short stretch but enough to swim and play around with kids. Pool is clean and has an awesome view of the property and open water. Have lots of parking. Occasional monkey sightings and Casitas visits. Staff: All were very professional and all smiles. Carla from the restaurant was really good. Perfect F&B staff. Food: Very good serving sizes. Definitely good for sharing. Tastes good as well! Note that buffet breakfast is subject to number of guests expected for breakfast. Our first morning were a la carte style since there were a handful of guests at that time.

As of July 2019, they improved already. Most of the negative issues written before were corrected. Their restaurant is good at average price but taste great. Rooms are big and clean. Staffs are well attentive. Beach front and has infinity pool. Gym and water activities for rent. Book thru agoda as rates are cheaper than book directly at Acea. For senior citizen , mobility problem or pwd, you should book the ground floor area as they dont have elevator access to higher rooms which is 2nd floor. But it is wheelchair friendly only at ground floor and to the beach and restaurant. Overall, best stay in Acea subic.

This is an excellent hotel perhaps the best for this area. The hotel is new, well maintained, and very clean. King sized beds, TV and bathroom are modern and working well. It has a nice restaurant overlooking the beach with an excellent chef. The hotel and restaurant staff are the best I've seen lately. It is a bit more expensive than nearby hotels but this of course depends on what you want from a hotel. Bare in mind that the hotel is in Barrio/Brgy Barreto Barrio Barreto, Subic, the SBMA and Olongapo City are geographically separated. All are in the province of Zambales but should be considered separately depending on what you want to see and do. The Mangrove Resort is far superior to most if not all its local competition especially for a quite couple. Your search is over.

We stay there for 1 week and we really enjoy it.... a. Great place to stay since it's near from malls (Harbour point and SM Olongapo) actually walking distance lang sya b. The room is nice and tidy, they clean the room everyday (from beddings, to towels, and replenished toiletries c. KING size bed is a plus... , d. Great value for money talaga e. About the food since i love korean food so pak na pak sa sarap, though meron nmn filipino and american style menu. (Sarap naman sinigang nila) f. The staff are friendly esp. the room attendant they always wearing their best smile.. g. Plus... maaga kami nakapag check in i think its only 1pm pero nakaready n room namin pagdating :) h. The place is safe since merong guard OVER ALL SARAP magulit dito sa hotel na to!!!!

Got a great discount through Agoda, so we we're expecting less than stellar amenities. Surprisingly, we had a great stay. The room was pretty big, king sized bed was comfy and the room had all the little things to make things convenient. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Not the best hotel on the waterfront but it doesn't claim to be so it was all good. The best thing about the place is the location. Close enough to everything but far enough away from the loud music of the nearby concert hall/ drinking places nearby. Best to get rooms facing the pool/Subic bay but on the West side of the hotel.

It was a quick trip to Zambales and instead of driving back and forth to Manila we decided to have an overnight at Subic. This was not actually our first choice but good that the other hotels were either fully booked or had a problem with our reservations. The Good: Location is everything I always say, its walking distance to almost anything. With the Chapel just at the back of the hotel, surrounded by restos with 5 to 10 minutes walk not counting their in house restaurant, boardwalk just 2 minutes walk, casino about 5 minutes away and the mall about 15 minutes walk. Next is the staff which are always helpful and polite. Amenities, they have a pool and the in room amenities are all there. Bed and bathroom was spacious and clean. the complimentary coffee and water at the lobby. The Bad: our room was big and right in front of their pool so it means that when they opened the pool in the morning you can here children and adults playing so no late wake ups and extended sleep.

We are a family of returning guests. Over the years,White Rock has been our favorite beach getaway because it is so near from Manila and considered as one if not the best beach hotels in Zambales. Unfortunately, the expectation failed this time due to the drastic changes in the facilities and the inefficient operating procedures such as front desk management. Guests has to queue for more than an hour just to check-in despite the confirmed bookings made online and giving you an already occupied room! Chaos happens when guests are coming all at the same time, but this scenario is unacceptable when a hotel is already running and in business for such a long time. The facilities were updated by having additional rooms / villas/ pools and the water park....but extending the structures and not keeping the beach front as it was before was just disappointing. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom is also disappointing. I know this review has been long overdue, but I still want to submit it.

The room i booked was a little bit dated and a little small for just myself, however it did the job. Good bed, good aircon, clean and tidy. I would book an upstairs sea view delux next time. The hotel is amazing though, in baloy beach about fifteen minutes walk to the town. As you walk out of your room you are on the beach, great for an rarly morning swim. The hotel restaurant is great, good food and great service. Laundry is good and quick. The hotel is popular and gets a little noisy, if you are an early sleeper. Theband usualy ends about 10pm, but people are enjoying the restaurant later than that. They have a small pool in the hotel complex, but you have the beach so its not really needed. The staff are always available to help you, cheerful and friendly. I have stayed in a few hotels, but ifyou are a single traveller on a budget or just enjoy the beach relaxed life this is a great place to stay. Will definitely stay here again.

We went on a Marian pilgrimage in Botolan Zambales and opted to stay overnight in Subic Bay. It was our first time in a hotel with complimentary dinner at the beach instead of the usual free breakfast. Upon checking in, we were informed that due to a wedding reception, the dinner by the beach will not be available but instead, a buffet breakfast will be served the following morning. Our check in was quick and there was ample parking space across a vacant lot of the hotel. The room is moderately furnished, the bedsheets are old, however, the towels are white and fresh. Overall, we had a pleasant overnight stay after our long and tiring day.

We came from Zambales and stopped over the Pub Hotel to rest for a night before driving back to Manila. It is along the highway and easy to find. They offer parking in the front, which we didn't know. So the cracked out dudes from the empty spaces beside tried to bamboozle us into paying them for "overnight" parking. Otherwise everything went smoothly, wifi was good, etc.

Me and my boyfriend has stayed overnight at icove just as a break as i was in town from london. we had booked it in advance because we knew we just wanted to get away somewhere to relax and spend quality time together. Icove is situated in such an easy place to locate. We used google maps to get to the beach hotel from subic freeport. It is the easiest drive as well as close to place such as harbour point mall and places to have dinner. The staff upon arrival were amazing, they were very pleasent and had made sure that we were okay. When getting into the room we had reaslised that it was very good. the room was better than expected. It also had a tiny balcony out front The breakfast in the morning was very nice and the staff again would greet you good morning. Me and my boyfriend believe that this hotel deserves more than 3 stars. we would also definatley return back to this hotel as we think it was such a simple and nice get away.

My stay at the Sun Plaza was my best experience with a hotel in Subic, or even in or out of the United States. There is something management has done in setting up this hotel such that the staff is very personally committed to the success of the business and ensuring guests have a fantastic experience. They are genuine and honestly helpful in a way you just don't see in America, where staff members are often undercompensated and corporate customer service training produces a veneer of amicability but little real heart. The drivers were particularly helpful in making sure I was able to settle last-minute details for Valentine's Day. The breakfast options are diverse and tasty. Our side of the hotel overlooked a pleasant resort and we were enchanted by the sound of children and families playing, as well as the music. But the sounds were easily shut off when desired by closing the balcony door. The spa is well worth a visit - my masseuse there removed stiffness with a level of skill I rarely see. The bathroom was also very well appointed, sometimes difficult to find here, and in another rarity for this area, the wi-fi strength was very solid, allowing us to easily share pictures and memories with friends and family. Overall, this hotel and its staff really did everything possible to make this year's Valentine's Day the most special of our lives. We could not be happier, and we will definitely visit again.

It was my 4th time in Subic and the last travel was with a group. Tried many hotels in Subic and this is the best so far. Location is near to everything like spa and restaurants. You have to travel a little going to Subic attractions. Very clean, room is spacious with complete toiletries. Facilities are good as well. They has swimming people though it's cold to swim because of cold water. Breakfast choices are just enough but it changes everyday which is good. Their staff are the best! Even the janitors will give you smile and say hi, same with waiters and waitresses. Their receptionist are very considerate. Highly recommended and value for the money. Will definitely go back! We arrived 1:30pm Thursday of Holy Week.... hotel is fully booked but check-in is quick, we requested 2 extra beds and these were brought up immediately together with extra pillows and sheets, reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, all their staffs are helpful and friendly. Room is very clean, bathroom is spacious and very clean, furnishings are of quality materials, not cheap looking. just make sure you have the correct cool settings for the a/c,...hope that the hotel can maintain their cleanliness and "newness". Only downside was there is no elevator, and we were on the 3rd floor....Pirates restaurant served good breakfast, although the menu selection is limited, and if you would want to have dinner in the garden outside, the servers would gladly set a table for you... location is ok as it is quiet, though boardwalk and other restaurants are just a few minutes walk away.....is hotel isn't cheap, but it is all worth it... will definitely be back...

The staff are great from security guard to room service. They address promptly any issues we had or cater to our requests. Good location, in the waterfront area so short walk to beach although subic beach isn't great for swimming, it is beside TJ House of Ribs which maybe the best dining in subic. It isn't a 5 star hotel but provides all the necessary amenities. Good and fast wifi, just make sure to request a room near a router as it isn't in every room but well place 3 to 4 router in a floor. The swimming pool is kids friendly, they did enjoy the dolphin swim toy which you can rent or buy. We got one of the bigger room, two queen bed, place may not be new but it is clean and well maintained, have a bath tub, ref and sofa. Love their mango guinibis which costs only 66 pesos. Minor issue we had is the aircon compressor was noisy for a few minutes in our first morning. The free breakfast only covered the 2 adults but not 2 kids.

How many times have i read reviews that state, "you get what you pay for!" Many times i agree, but with Treasure Island it couldnt be more wrong, cos you dont pay much but what you get is good, real good. The 3 J (jerry the manager, jackie at reception and joanna the bar/food whiz) have got this small resort cruising along very very nicely. Big rooms, comfy beds and even a balcony for us filthy smokers, love it. I could ramble on eternal about this resort, but YOU be the judge and book it. I stayed for 4 nights, loved the room, food, pool and the staff. They may not rate 5 stars on the hotel scale but they do in my book. i will be back!!!

The experience was GREAT! The hotel staff were exceptional! They even upgraded our room to the suite which made it more comfortable for me and my family... The location is close to nearby point of interests and the hotel room met my expectations... Still quite pricey since it's equivalent to a 5-star hotel and all i can say is you'll get the value for your money. I'd book to this hotel again if given another opportunity...

The room is clean, has relaxing lighting, large window to let natural light in in the morning, with ample amenities, has lots of space (can possibly accommodate a small family), and the best of all, the room we got has a bathtub. There's free first-come, first-serve garage parking and lots of parking outside the hotel. The staff are very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. The hotel's location is in the middle of the Subic Freeport Area, which is basically minutes away from the beaches of the north and the forest reserves to the south. It's also a couple of blocks away from two major malls like Harbor Point and SM. This is very accessible to guests with their own vehicles. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and will definitely stay in this hotel again if ever we visit Subic again.

This is a wonderful hotel!.. my family comprised of 5 children, inlaws, brothers, grandparents and parents stayed in this hotel just before the holidays. We booked it last minute and were quite surprised. It was labeled a 3 star hotel but it should really be 4 Star —maybe even 5 Star. The rooms are very clean, well furnished and spacious. Bathroom and amenities looked like a 5 Star hotel. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was included and very good, -“and staff was very helpful in terms of helping us book excursions. They have a beautiful pool at the top of the building with great views of hills. Location wise —walking distance from all the great duty free shopping and restaurants —the best one is the teppanyaki place the hotel owns as well. Great food and entertainment by the teppanyaki chef. In same building is a VR game booth—so fun for the family and kids. Owner of hotel extremely gracious and talks to people asking for feedback. Highly recommend this place!

We frequent Subic like 3-5x in a year and this is our first time to stay here because it was always fully booked. No wonder. This hotel is by far the best in Subic. Room is huge, large bed, clean sheets, new clean towels, AC working perfectly, staff at reception were prompt & helpful. Check-in/check-out was quick & easy. Best part though was the Bulalo soup we ordered in-room for dinner. It was a hefty, sumptuous dish for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was good too. Can still improve on the shower as shower head needs to be replaced, pool towels were not so nice, beds by the pool need cleaning, umbrellas were not working, staff at breakfast were not as warm. Hope to see this improve on our next visit.

Our stay was during the holy week break, and almost all the hotels in Subic Freeport were fully booked. Grand Hoyah was one of two or three which had available rooms. Grand Hoyah's rate was very reasonable for a 4-star hotel as advertised, despite the peak demand so we were a bit skeptical and worried as to what accommodation we will have. We were pleasantly surprised upon check-in to find the hotel very nice. The room was large and clean, with dedicated split-type aircon, although the wallpaper on the wall needed a bit of repair. For this size hotel, the only existing elevator is so small it couldn't fit more than 2 people but this is not a big deal. My daughter always wants to use the stairs anyway. I wouldn't rate it a 4-star hotel though. Maybe more of a very good 3-star one. The plated breakfast was delicious, with unlimited coffee and juices. Parking area in front and side of hotel was plentiful. All in all a great value for money hotel, and we will likely stay here

Stayed with 3 small children... Room may be old, but the service and staff were very accommodating. We arrived at the hotel 4 hours before check-in time, and happy to say that they allowed us to check-in the room 3 hours before check-in time, and during the length of our stay, the staff were able to fulfill our requests promptly and with a smile! :) Location is also very strategic... The mall was walking distance.... Just across the street. There is a 24-hours convenience store just behind the hotel... so if you need a cheap snack in the middle of the night, there is a 7/11 nearby. The hotel and rooms may be old, but the location and staff and a huge free breakfast compensates for them. :) thank you Subic Int'l Hotel for the great service and great attitude towards younger children!

This is our second favorite hotel in Olongapo. However, this is the only hotel that gives you FREE BREAKFAST and it is good. This is not a piece of old bread breakfast. They give you a voucher to eat at the restaurant which is right next to the biggest pool in Olongapo. Enjoy your stay, we are going deep sea fishing in the morning down by Bicol where the WHALE SHARKS are.

My 5th visit to Subic and my first time staying at Mangos. From this moment forward, Mangos will be my resort of choice. The restaurant has an extensive menu and the food was excellent. I suffer from insomnia and would sit on the deck and watch the ocean. The overnight staff was just as accomodating at 4 AM as the day staff at 4PM. My best memories will be sitting on their deck at 4AM, drinking a Latte, and eating Chicken Tinola or grilled Mango BBQ Pork Chops. A great place to learn how to dive or just relax. My only complaint is they do not have a huge luxury infinity swimming pool. But with the entire pacific ocean within 15 steps fromm the deck. You will get over it.

I am a regular visitor to Subic and Venezia was recommended to me. From the helpful security guard to the check in staff everything was perfect and as a bonus I was upgraded. Room service is from a 5 star Chinese restaurant next door so quality is excellent, there is a casino attached but I was never bothered by noise or patrons. I found I could walk to the new Ayala mall and also into Olongapo so no need to worry about parking. Subic has changed so much and many first class restaurants of all tastes. I found the hotel very helpful and happily recommend. The only downside was I could not regulate aircon as usually I dont use and happy with a fan. In fairness I didn't ask the hotel about this so guess self inflicted!!!
