Stay was very nice. They gave us a free upgrade to a large room with a balcony that overlooked the central town square. Price included breakfast buffet, which was delicious. Staff were great. We will come back.

We stayed in several small boutique hotels, guesthouses, and AirBnBs in old towns from Venice to Kotor, and Hotel Astoria was probably the best. The location is excellent, the room was beautiful, and the restaurant was great (definitely go for the breakfast). We only had one night in Kotor, but the staff helped us make the most of it.
Marija is situated in the heart of Kotor old town. I awoke each morning to a stunning view of the narrow cobbled streets and the mountains in the background. Marija's location adds to the experience of Kotor, being in the middle of this beautiful town. Otherwise, the hotel is quite average. The rooms are small, the breakfast is ok, and the walls are very thin.
