Quick and quiet getaway ”
Since our honeymoon was cancelled, my wife and I had to look for a replacement getaway which is not far from Metro Manila. Was surprised to see Phinma Training Center as one of the next best available hotels in Tagaytay since almost all are already fully booked. Since I was familiar with the place, decided to give this one a try to have some private quality time with my wife. Well, Phinma didn't disappoint and we had a good and quiet time together. The room was spacious and clean, the place was well-guarded and the staff were all courteous and friendly. It felt like we were part of a small community because most of the guests were either families or exchange students from Korea. The only drawback that I observed is that the restaurant only caters to those who made pre-arrangements for group accommodations. In other words, you need to go out of the Training Center to look for food, and the Center is a bit far from the food establishments in Tagaytay. Overall, it was a different but worthwhile experience. At first my wife was shocked that we get to spend our replacement honeymoon at a "Training Center," but we had a good time and wouldn't mind going back in case we need some quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the metro.

Clean room located in peaceful environment”
The place was a bit far from the attraction but if your traveling on a car, that wouldn't be a problem. However if you are looking for a place to rest peacefully in Tagaytay, this is the place to be.

My overnight stay at Phinma”
We stayed inside our room the whole night. The following day, we went out to order food for our breakfast but it was not available. There was no telephone inside the room that we had to go out every time we need assistance. On the other hand, the view within the vicinity was very cool and relaxing. Its the best place to renew energy from the stress of the metro. The receptionist was very nice. :) thanks for the info about the Phinma beginnings :)

Perfect place for peace & quiet...”
It's my second time to stay here and service was still ok. Room was very clean & place was peaceful. You can take a walk around the compound as a light exercise. You can stay at the lobby for free flowing coffee and you can borrow some board games & stuff. Our favorite was playing Jengga. You can also read your favorite book while savoring the cold December weather. They have a free game room with karaoke where my friend and I sang our hearts out til close to midnight. Best if you have a car as it's a bit far from popular restos although there are some nearby and a 7 eleven 3km from the place. I would highly recommend this place if you're just planning some R & R and will not be moving around tagaytay too much.

Quiet location and good for family”
Phinma is about two kilometers from the main road so I suggest that you bring a car with you when booked in this place. It is surrounded with retreat places and therefore a serene location. It is good to bring your family even small kids along as they can run around in the garden or the play area. Security is good.

Fresh air, quiet surroundings, friendly staff.”
Good place to just relax and enjoy the cool tagaytay air; lots of trees; the staff are very accomodating and friendly. Since the in-house kitchen had limited food choices, they allowed us to have food delivered from a nearby restaurant.

Inexpensive but not cheapy”
The bed is matrimonial and there's a cold ref in the room. Unlike other hotels of this price - it is clean, the air conditioner is quiet and cool, cabinets are clean and huge, the bathroom has amenities found in higher priced hotels. Good breakfast. Free coffee, water and newspaper in the lobby.

Value for Money”
Hotel is located outside of the main Tagaytay tourist area. Initially, we thought we were lost because we were traveling for sometime already and have not yet reached our destination. However, when we got there, we were pleasantly surprised because the staff allowed us to check in an hour and a half earlier than the official check in time. The room and bathrooms were clean. Generally, we had a pleasant stay.

clean and big room but location is not ideal”
we spent christmas on this training center. so far i was satisfied with the room and service. however, we would have enjoyed it more if there was wifi in the room. there was free wifi but it was only in the lobby. if you wanted to have a wifi connection within the room, you had to pay p100 per hour, which i found to be very pricey. the tv had no cable channels so we just had to make do with local channels. the location is not ideal though because it is around 3 kms from the main road. there are no restos nor convenience stores nearby so we had to buy all our needs before we returned to the hotel from our dinner. but if you are looking for a secluded and quiet place to stay, this is an ideal place to go.

Its a hotel great for conferences and symposiums but it can also be nice hotel for those staying only for a short time. Rooms need a little fixing, but everything else was the same. Its a bit outside the city proper so you would really need a car. A-ok for the price!

Practical place to stay in Tagaytay”
overall the place is good, and was really designed to accommodate participants for training activities. the place is around 2 kms from the main highway so it is advisable to have your own transport. the area is clean, fresh air, far from the main highway, quiet, and rooms and bedsheets are clean. staff are friendly and helpful, facilities well maintained and free for use.

A cool place to stay.”
We stayed just for one night in this hotel, but we had a good time. We arrived at around 6:30PM already and were not aware that there is no available restaurant inside the premise and we were all tired and no longer interested to go out for dinner. Since the facility is a training centre, it does not serve regular food for its walk-in guests. However, the front desk personnel and the chef accommodated us together with other guests even with simple meal. I will definitely try this hotel again for more than a night with my family.

Friendly staff, quiet surroundings”
Our stay was just ok. This hotel is a bit old and the rooms need an upgrade. Aircon is noisy. shower fixtures busted but still working. Door locks use are old door knob keys. Good thing the the staff were friendly and attentive. But the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. recreation area is ok. good thing it is free. but the billiard tables cloth are damaged. location is not good for those who want to explore tagaytay until night because the road going back to the hotel is ultra dark.

Good for family bonding”
We had an early check-in and the reservations officer accommodated us very well. The rooms are clean, although quite small. The surroundings is very peaceful and great for meditation because of it's quiet surroundings.

Very pleasant discovery. Reasonable. Wish there was an intercom connection to front desk or staff area. Hope there is an option of some room service or regular food outlets. Hope for a stronger internet connection for the rooms.

the hotel is perfect for our purpose, a nice place for family timeout. location is just right and although the rooms are small, they are tidy, the hotel staff are friendly. we had time for quiet and bible study. we were also able to connect with the office with its internet facilitlies
