“Favorite Hotel In Baguio. Will always come back”
We have stayed in 10 hotels in Baguio due to work and so far Paragon Hotel and Suites is our favorite. I rarely do a review but I felt like doing a review now so I can let others know that this hotel is really worth the value. Pros: 1. This is just a walking distance to our office, location is near Burnham Park if you also want to have a walk, Watsons is nearby, Puregold is nearby, stalls where you can buy fruits are just nearby, laundry area is walking distance, church is nearby. The one and only SM in Baguio is not too far. 2. Free Parking- car is safe in the basement. Security guard is always polite. Space is good enough considering the very limited parking spaces in city center. 3. Ease of Payment and ease of communication- You can either pay in Gcash, or credit card. You can easily reach them out via messenger if you want to book your stay. 4. Food- they have good plated breakfast, serving is more than enough for a person. On the business perspective, I understand that serving buffet breakfast is not economical. Advantage is, your booking already includes breakfast. The food that they are serving is tasty and more than you what you need for breakfast to be honest, coffee is available, juice is available, jam is always available. For lunch or dinner, you have plenty of choices, 90% is Chinese cuisine, food sharing size is a real “sharing” size that is good for 2-3 persons. Food here is great I must say, my husband always love the food they serve. Also, they have the best ever “snowball” that you must try. Nothing beats that snowball that they offer. This is the only hotel that TEA is totally free! You can ask for unlimited TEA as much as you can every time you eat in the restaurant. 5. Very spacious and clean rooms- depending on your preference and budget, room sizes vary. We were able to experience both premiere park rooms, 1 has a jacuzzi, 1 doesn’t have. The premiere room is good enough. You get what you pay for. Both provide view for the Burnham Park. They will always clean the room daily so long as you put the door sign “make up room”. Bed linens and pillows are comfy. You have all the toiletries, and even a refill daily, towels are changed so long as you request for change. Slippers are provided. Enough space for bedroom cupboard to hand clothes. They even have extra cabinets which may not be needed but has been placed in the room. Depending on your room type, you can have couch, table, TV. 6. Value for money- since this is in the city center, you expect that it can be a mid-range price or at the higher price depending on your room preference, but if you are also going to compare it with other hotels in the city, you get the best value here. Try to compare with other hotels nearby. I have long been convinced that they provide the best value for the price you pay. 7. People- the one’s in the restaurant are always ready to assist you. Maybe more hospitality training for others, to smile more often, to be more welcoming (these are just the points that can be improved) 8. Huge function halls- if you need trainings, team buildings, you can check their function rooms. They have huge space. 9. Huge art collection- I think the owner loves arts and collecting things, they have a lot of art display in the lobby. Very high ceiling in the lobby which looks really great. For improvement: 1. Wifi is very essential especially at work. I think this is something that Paragon needs to look into and ensure that every room has a strong wifi connection. (Since our office is just nearby, this can be manageable, but for others who are visiting and needs to attend work- this can be concerning) In the next 3 weeks, we will be staying again in Paragon. This is already our 3rd stay, and we will always choose Paragon whenever we will be in Baguio due to the reasons I have provided above. Although in as much as we want, we love to stay in newly-built hotels, but being built for sometime now doesn’t always mean that it fee
