Please don't go here. My friends and I would like to keep this place a secret and didn't want to share it with more people. Hehehe! But the good people of this hostel deserve an awesome review. The facade of Mountain Breeze Hotel is so frugal, you're sure to miss it. The interior though, is nothing short of amazing. We love the quirky design, which looked like it came out of a lifestyle magazine. It was homey and chic. The design was well thought of. We got the deal at a discounted price but the staff treated us as if we checked-in in a five star hotel. Kudos to Sir receptionist the day we areived. He kind-heartedly gave us all ourhearts' wishes. You can bring in food without corkage. I think you may even have a barbecue night on the grounds if you so wish. You can stay here with your heart's content and do just about anything. Just be mindful and considerate as we don't want to ruin the charm of this place. Comfortable fleece blankets and towels were provide. All, looked, felt and smelled laundried well. We were not provided with slippers, so might as well bring your own. We drank a few alcohol, so you may also do so. I don't think you can be rowdy because rooms share the lounge area. Toiletries may be bought here but if you are scrimping or picky, bring your own. I think all rooms have comfortable bed and flat screen TVs, so your choice really depends on the number of heads staying in one room. The AC was great. Water pressure was awesome with heater. All comfort rooms are well maintained. Wi-fi was pretty fast as I was able to finish work that night. Have I mentioned we got a free upgrade to Quadruple room? I didn't regret one second that I chose this place to bond with great friends. If I don't come back with my family, it'll be such a waste.

Homey and relaxed atmosphere...”
Other than the common comfort room, it was perfect! It is easy to find as it's along the road, but the signage is not that flashy. It's possible that you may miss it if you're not attentive. We almost missed it. The Hostel is across Cityland Tagaytay Prime Residence. When we reached Cityland Tagaytay, we asked the security guard. It's about 15-20m on the other side of the road before you reach Cityland Tagaytay Prime Residence. It's an old house transformed into a Hostel/Guesthouse; interior is newly renovated - kinda looks like a Korean Guesthouse, actually with cute furniture and decors. You can also lounge at their backyard. Their closed veranda is overlooking Taal lake. If you're looking for a great deal for family and friends, this is a good place to stay. They only sell beverage and noodles though, so don't expect meals being served in the guesthouse. The family who is running the Hostel are very friendly and accommodating.

Me and my family of 9 including me enjoyed our Tagaytay trip. And this hostel keeps our stay convenient and worry free! We arrived very early in the morning about 8 in the morning and we didnt have to wait for check in time to get in to our room. They just hold us up for few minutes and came bak to us saying our room is ready. The two guys who took shifts were very accommodating and kind to us. They let us cook our breakfast at their kitchenette. Lend us utensils for our dinner at their garden the night before. The room was big enough us for nine. Aircon was working very well. All in all highly recommended for tourist bringing their family along. Thank you mountain breeze for making our stay worthwhile!

Beautiful new guest house ”
Mountain breeze guesthouse We stayed as a couple in Mountain Breeze guesthouse while visiting taal volcano. Upon arriving (the guesthouse is a 2 minute ride from where the bus from Manila drops you in olivarez) we were immediately greeted by Danny, who was working the front desk. We stayed in a dorm because the rates were so cheap and we are on a backpackers budget. The room was small but very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathrooms were also some of the nicest we have seen in budget accommodation in a very long time. One bathroom even has hot water that is sourced from the local hot springs. The lounge area and garden of the guesthouse add to the comfort of the guesthouse as they are beautifully decorated, have comfy seating, and have excellent views of neighboring mountains. Danny was so helpful during our stay and helped us arrange transport to the volcano, getting laundry done in the guesthouse very quickly, and helping us plan how to get to our next destination. Overall, an extremely positive experience! I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Central location”
The hostel is located very close to the center of Tagaytay. You would think that because it's on the main road, it would be very noisy, but it's not. Really nice place with friendly staff. The house is really nicely decorated, and it has a nice grass area in front from where you can enjoy sunrise and sundown.

Vintage rustic feel”
The reception just makes you feel at home!!! The dorm was amazing with 4 people and crisp, clean sheets. The staff were friendly and always eager to help. The location is also perfect, less than a kilometre from the main Tagaytay hub at Olivarez plaza. The only downer I can think of is when I witnessed the staff not replace sheets that others had slept in and had other guests use the same sheets. But afterwards they rectified that mishap so it was all good.

Good for people who wants a quiet location. Far from the buzz of Tagaytay city but near enough to the jeepney and bus terminal, olivarez plaza, and the rotonda.

BEST HOSTEL”
I was surprise to know that for just 300 pesos/head, you get a comfortable, descent and stain-free place to stay a night with friends. I would really reco this place to anyone. Will definely stay again on my next visit to tagaytay.

Perfect Accommodation”
Our stay was exceptional. I was surprised that the property is a few blocks away from the city center and it's a good thing as there's nearby fast food chains and malls too. When I get out of the cab and step on the ground, I was mesmerized with the cuteness (and elegance too) of this property, from the rainbow stairways to the antique collection which are displayed in the sala and the cute garden where you can relax while enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Thanks to their kind staff who accommodated as very well. Will surely go back to this place once I have my days off.
