Limited Appeal”
This "Guest House" was advertised as a B&B, but it is far from it. There is no breakfast or even coffee available. They provide a small fridge for leftovers from restaurants, but no silverware or microwave to help with eating them. There is a small water heater and two single serving tea bags, but no spoon nor sugar if you care for it. The bathrooms are small, and no washcloths or hand towels are provided. There is no shelving on which to put your toiletries, and the toilet paper is provided on the back of the toilet, inconvenient to reach. When you come in, you are given a shoe cubby, and a pair of slippers. You are asked to leave your shoes in the cubby and put on slippers each time you enter. This would be fine, except for the fact that there is no elevator, and the many flights of stairs are made of marble, making for slippery conditions when going in and out. There is wi-fi available, but only works for emailing...anything more, such as watching Netflix is blocked from your use. This place is neat, clean, and the staff is kind. Other than that, it is not the best place to stay. I will not book it again.

Great hostel experience that we never had before. ”
We had a very pleasant stay at Longantree Guest House. Everything was just prefect especially the cleanliness, which really out of our expectation! The host is very nice and had gave us many advices on the good restaurants where only local people knows. Those food he introduced was really good and we appreciated a lot coz we at last could have some real good ones. Would definitely recommend this place to people who is travelling to Hualien.

Must stay !!!!”
If you wanna go Hualian, you must stay in this guest house. Mr Zhu and a pretty lady (sorry I forgotten her name) welcome us once we reached the guest house. They also quickly helped us to carry our luggages from the car to the guest house. Mr Zhu even helped us to clean our luggages and sent them to our room. Because of raining day, our shoes all wet, Mr Zhu keep telling the pretty lady must not forget to help us dry them. The room is big enough with balcony. I can say the owner is wholeheartedly managing the guest house, the room is so clean and i couldn't find dust even at the corner, toilet also super clean. Location is very convenient, walking distance to the night market and a lot of eating places around. I will definitely come back to stay in this guest house if i have a chance to go hualien again.

Cute and stylish guest house”
Enjoyed my stay here. The hosts were attentive and fun. I was upgraded to a larger room with a nice sitting area and a big claw foot tub (which I enjoyed for a good long soak after a day of hiking!) The guest house is very clean, well maintained, and nicely decorated. There is no breakfast which would have been nice, but there are lots of eating places on the side streets. The hosts are not at theproperty all the time, but was easy to communicate via text.

Clean and good location”
Overall it's more like a hotel than a real airbnb. It's clean and spacious! And friendly staff who gave some tips about the travels. It's 10mins ride from hualien train station and 15mins walk to dongdamen night market.

It is a nice and clean guest house with quality fixture and fitting. Just to highlight the following for improvement:- (1) I was not comfortable with open toilet (no privacy) (2) lesser rules and regulations would be great :)

The hostel is very worthy”
The room is beautiful and all same as the photos on Internet and the description. The bed is very comfort and we have a nice sleep. Although the hostel doesn't provide any breakfast and there are several nice restaurant nearby and they are just a few footsteps. Also, there is a convenience store nearby. And the location is very nice. Just about 10-15 minutes to the city center. We love the decoration of the hostel. We have a wonderful journey with the hostel.

Awesome room”
It was a pleasant stay. we came quite late to check in, and the host was very helpful and patient with us. The room was very big, cozy and clean, it was well-designed as well. The best part is, they even offer the mosquito incense when we asked. This is the only hotel and the only country that I've traveled that offers that, very considerate. Highly recommended.

It was fantastic, though there is no reception counter but owner of the hotel will contact you and meet you at the hotel upon your arrival. Very friendly and cool guy. Room design is very nice and clean.

The price is abit high. The stuff is very helpful,nice and very patient. This hotel is abit far from the night market but still acceptable if u want to wall to the night matket roughly take u about 10-15min

Exceptional”
The lady host was welcoming, helpful and friendly. Service was impeccable. Cleanliness was utmost important to us so we were more than happy to keep to the rules set by the host. Overall stay was really really comfortable and will definitely stay with them if we visit this place again. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from A series to A plus series with no additional charge. The actual state of the room was more beautiful than the picture. It has been an enjoyable stay and we highly recommend this place to all.

Clean, spacious room ”
The location, although set in an alley, was quite easy to travel north to the station area or south to the night market area. There's so many good food places around the hostel. The staff is nice and helpful, and was overly-apologetic regarding not giving me enough discount as I was a solo traveler (only if you book thru their own website). Nevertheless, the room was clean and spacious, I enjoyed my stay very much!
