There’s only one front desk personnel attending to guess. The other one is on the phone for almost 10 min before we could check in. There’s also no words of apology for keeping us waiting.

First time at this Ramada. Service here was really well , especially a male staff on 10th July 2022 night. Helped us with valet parking , karaoke and luggage . However the breakfast here wasn’t so delicious lol

Our 1-night stay was good. The hotel has parking, friendly staff, good breakfast, and wi-fi in the room. The location could be better, but Hualien is not a big place, so there is easy access to the sightseeing places. Would stay there again.

Breakfast spread could be improved”
Breakfast spread looks uninviting for a Ramada standard. Very Chinese style breakfast for a hotel chain. Fruit juices are of poor quality, coffee is only black coffee, you have congee but no salted egg. Needs improvement!!!

Come with low expectations”
Very mediocre stay & frustrated interactions with the front desk. Upon arrival no help or greeting from staff. Asked for luggage help and the front desk lady repeatedly said no one was available. She pointed to the luggage cart to “help ourselves.”. After complaining, someone magically appeared from the back office to help. Once we got our room, the first thing I noticed was how filthy the floors were. There were black stains from sticky liquids, hair, dust, etc. It was late and kids were tired so we ended up wiping the floor down ourselves with Clorox wipes. The next day, I purposely left liquid stains near the front entrance to see if the staff would clean the floors. Nope. Still there when we returned. Lastly, the hotel touts kids under 6 stay for free, but every time we called for extra towels and sheets, it was like an interrogation why we needed extra supplies. So frustrating and unprofessional. I would at most give this place 2 stars. The only plus was the free parking.

The front desk staff was not friendly.”
The hotel is dirty, the lobby of the room are very dark, the room also very dark, no lights. It is very difficult for seniors like myself to operate in the room. Overall, the place is not maintain well, not clean as hotel standard. You can see dust everywhere, after COVID experience, I thought we should have a higher standard for cleanness.

Comfortable room, great breakfast, value for money”
I had a pretty comfortable stay in this hotel. I reached hualien early and the hotel driver wasn't at work yet. Managed to contact the hotel and was told to take a cab to the hotel instead and the hotel would pay the cab driver. Reached the hotel and I was allowed to borrow the bicycle to cycle around hualien. I then return to the hotel at approximately 2pm and was allowed an early check in. Hotel was located opposite a foot massage center which was excellent. Price was reasonable and the foot massage was real comfortable. It's also a 10 min drive from the hualien night market. They also sent me back to the train station for my departure for free. Our best stay in Taiwan”
My friends and I had a very good stay for two nights in the family room. The four of us enjoyed the hotel facilities provided here after staying at 2 different airbnb guest houses at Taichung and Sun Moon Lake before that. The family room was huge and spacious. There was so much space left to walk around although all four of us had big luggage. The bathroom was huge too with a bathtub as well as a shower room. The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The best part was definitely the free self-service laundry. We could do our laundry with the free washing machines and dryers at the parking lot. Free detergent powder and laundry bags were provided too! The selection of food for buffet breakfast was not bad though we thought the quality of food could be improved. As for the location of the hotel, it is not walkable to the Hualien city centre. However, it was not an issue for us as it was not expensive for us to cab there as there was four of us. There are also free bicycles provided by the hotel if you wish to cycle around. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Very friendly and comfortable staying”
The first day was sunny and beautiful but it is unfortunate that we have encountered typhoon this time in Hualien, so we decided to give up the second day stay. Although the hotel is kindly enough to offer for partial return, we did not take it since our decision to leave was passed 8pm on that day already, the room cannot sell to other guests anyways. The staff are all wonderful, kids LOVE the room and hope we will have a chance to go back again.

The hotel is few min drive from Dong Da Men night market, overall is very good. There's 5D pictures for us to take photos. We asked for additional bed as the booking did not capture the number of pax we input, though last min adding addition bed is not possible, the staffs tried their best too. Will recommend.

the hotel was very neat, clean, and very modern also. we has a great stay overall at the hotel. although the breakfast food selection is a little bit limited (or very oriental in a sense). but to sum it all up, it's worth the price.
