Cute, clean and friendly”
I would absolutely love to come back here. The staff was very friendly and helpful (even though our Chinese was poor) and the location and accommodation were convenient and clean. No complaints here whatsoever :)

Warm and comfortable place”
The environment is warm and comfortable, and I had a good sleep. The living room is great, with many awesome comics! You can comfortably watch comics with the shop dog Obama in the living room at night. In addition, the boss lady has good taste and is very friendly. Because I had something urgent, I asked if I could change my stay to the next day, and the boss lady agreed readily. I am really grateful.

I loved my stay in Hualien. Even if it was raining all the time, i really enjoyed staying at Lazy House. We watched a movie one evening and on the other the host cooked hot pot and she invited us. That was great! Coffee, Tea, Water is free and they have Oats for Breakfast. You‘re free to use the kitchen and you could also cook something! 2 minutes away there is a great vegetarian buffet reataurant. You should try it!

Great atmosphere”
Lazy House has a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Angela is a great host who takes care of her guests. The room had air conditioning and a fan but the public areas and bathroom were always very hot (in June). The hostel is on the more quiet side of the train station but there seems to be a military airport close to it so you will hear some really loud airplanes during the day. None at night, though. I enjoyed my stay.

Friendly host with great location closes to HuaLien Train station, considered a clean and tidy. And you will be offered a chance to meet Mr.Obama in real life, he may be defensive at first sight but soon after he would turn into a friendly tail wagging host. Oh yeah, Mr. Obama is a little 8-yr-old pup with soft and pretty furry coat. Enjoy!

It's a hippie hostel, with all that entails (a bit messy, but it has good funky vibes) PROS: murals on walls, nice common space, laundry-hanging area, nice staff CONS: on the wrong side of the train station (convenient to get to the station, but not to other things), no staff during midday or nights, a bit dirty

The hostel is nice and good enough for the price. Bad points are: the kitchen is in the same room as the owner's friend's restaurant making it a bit weird to hangout with your foodnin the area. Luckily there is a second commun area, but without necessities. Not enough lavatory/shower/toilets. Only one bathroom, with shower and toilets together, per floor. So two in total. Two shower and toilets are available downstair but you have to go outside. In the dorm, some bed have poor privacy. The curtain doesn't go as low as the mastress so we have 10cm to see you. And some bed doesn't have anything blocking the view on the lower part of the bed (on the feet level) so actually anyone can see you...

住宿不只方便,老闆娘又美又熱情親切,內部令人驚艷,完全沒想過的設計巧思,完全不是砸錢就能辦到的,與其說是民宿更像是文創藝術地,而且老闆娘吉他非常厲害,唱歌嗓調也非常令人陶醉,這是我住過幾百間住宿,唯一願意評價敘說的店,有像家的感覺又有飯店的舒適

一切都很棒尤其是那些床😂 建議廁所的隔水板過一段時間就要清洗曝曬一下 不然大家洗完澡以後吸滿濕氣的木頭有濃厚的尿騷味 歐爸可能要洗個澡了臭臭
