Superb! ”

We booked Las Ventanas the night before our trip. It was a quick getaway and we knew nothing of the place. It nestled in the pineapple fields of Tagaytay, Cavite. The place is easy to find and it is located in the street in front of Tagaytay City Public Market. We arrived there around 4pm although the check in time is 3pm. Check in was a breeze maybe because its already a late check in. We wanted to use the pool but the staff told us that it can only be use at 6pm to 9pm or 6am to 9am. I don't know why though but we agreed since we are also tired and want to rest first. Upon checking in, the room is neat and tidy matching the Balinese/Thai themed room. It is small but spacious enough for 2. My only comment is that there is actually very little privacy with the restroom. We had dinner before we took a dip in the pool. The meals cost about 99 pesos which super OK - I have no complain! It was a breezy night but we brave the waters of Tagaytay and soak in the swimming pool. It only took us 15 secs to realize - nope! we can't take it anymore. It was super cold. I wish the pool has heater knowing Tagaytay is mostly cold year round. We had a peaceful night. We had the staycation we deserved. I was just bothered in the morning because maybe the neighbors wake up early but the sound is blaring through the room. But to be fair enough, it was a nice stay and we did enjoy it. The staffs are polite and accommodating. Plus, it wouldn't cost you an arm and leg. If you are looking for a place to hide away or just think, this place must be for you. Thank you Las Ventanas!

Laidback stay”

We are a group of 4. We went to Tagaytay to relax and chill away from the city. And the place is just perfect for it. We stayed at the quad room-just simple bed but really I love the bathroom!!! We were not able to enjoy the pool because it was so cold rather we spent most of our time at their cafe. If you want some quiet time with your friends/ family, this is for you. :) PS you just have to bring anti mosquito lotions.

Superbly Clean, Quiet, Peaceful and Nature-filled”

I love this place because it's exactly what I'm looking for in a place in Tagaytay - it's extremely clean, fresh and filled with greenery. What I really love is that it doesn't have AC units because the place is filled with plants enough to make it cool in the afternoons and the evenings. I love the low price and the simplicity of the place and most especially the extreme cleanness of the room! The cleaners always do an excellent job and I check in at this place every time I am on a business trip and need a place to stay at that is affordable and very clean.

Well recommended if you want to be disconnected to be reconnected. Away from busy streets, disconnect to the social media platforms/internet/TV and be reconnected to your love ones by spending time talking with them. Las Ventanas staffs are kind and helpful. Food choices are not new but taste really great. Enjoyed the sound of nature and cool breeze all day! Will definitely go back here. ❤

Serenity - This is a place where you can find a peacefulness and calmness. My entire stay in Las Ventanas was full of relaxation and reflection as well. I love the vintage look of this place. You can only hear the birds chirping and wind blowing. You actually don't need to open the fan because the place is so cold. Staffs are very approachable and accommodating. And food is okay as well. Will surely be back here. ;)

The road to Las Ventanas is too narrow.Only 1 car can pass.Theres 1 coconut tree beside the road that must be cut off. This is too dangerous for the car owners espesially if the wind is too strong when theres a typhoon.

peaceful but noisy”

the place is real clean and peaceful. it was the case until the other guests started to arrive. Their voices were amplified in the rooms making it impossible to get some sleep. also, better bring a mosquito repellent lotion because the mosquitoes are out of this world. i like it that they have free breakfast and dinner but to set expectations, the meals are just the simple ones and the should you want to order a different one from their menu, it has to be done ahead of time and you have to pay for it.

The place is about a hundred meters or two away from the main road which requires short wallking. Its quite except when people in your neighboring room are loud. There are mosquitos but rooms are provided with mosquito nets. The pool is free of use until 9 in the evening. It has some cool lighting effect during night. The only thing we observed is the chlorine smell too strong. Bed covers, pillow cases and towel are regularly changed. They also provide shampoos, tothpaste and soap.

If you like party and lots of people, this place is not for you. But if you want to get away from the city life, experience the peace of nature, and have some quiet time, this place is perfect. The shower just needs some repair (water pressure is so low you cant have a shower) and maybe a standard pail in the restroom would be great. Might go back here for a solo retreat :)

Beautiful Garden, Uncomfortable Stay”

Our general feeling is that for the price we paid, we did not get value for our money. The staff was not well-trained, the breakfast was simply rice and a viand and not worth the additional price. The location is out of the way and difficult to get to without a vehicle. Even then the road is a narrow single lane. The toilet did not work and nothing was done to fix it. We had to flush the toilet going back and forth from the shower with a bucket. However, their garden is truly relaxing, beautiful, and well-maintained. Had the price been HALF of what we paid, I would have given a more forgiving review. However, when the price is this high, you expect professionalism. Our first impression was ruined when we first intended to shower and as I opened the cheap plastic valve, it broke and water was non-stop spraying everywhere. It was a nuisance in the middle of the night when we were tired and had unpacked already. Next room they transferred us to had a toilet that did not function.

Rustic, quiet, a bit spooky”

Staying here provided us with ample rest. The place is a bit off and remote and since our car broke a day before our we were left without a choice but to spend our time like a second honeymoon. The place is extremely quiet as we were the only guests. The ambience is somewhat eerie as it is not well lighted. It's very basic since there was no internet nor even tv. Since the room is not air conditioned it is a bit open and we felt not so secured nor with privacy (good thing there were no other guests). What were good though were the free dinner, massage, and breakfast! If one is for the luxury of serenity with a bit of spooky adventure then this is a place to go. It's definitely so far from the hassle and bustle of Quezon City!

Loved my stay here”

I loved that it had many inclusions like free massage and free dinner. There weren't many choices for food though. The place was quite small but very serene. I love that I can hear the sound of the kawayans swaying with the wind. However, other guests were quite noisy (at 1 am!!!) and the staff wasn't doing anything about it. 😢 Eventually, the guests fell asleep I guess so the stay became more pleasant. 😊
