Clean quiet friendly staff ”
The visited this property February 18-20 shortly after reopening due to Taal Volcano eruption the month prior. If you have any concerned of ash etc, no worries Tagatay is open for business. We found this property to be quite and exceptionally clean, located close to restaurants, malls, and sky ranch for the kids. About 100m off the main you would never know it,. Stunning views while enjoying breakfast to start your day. Bathroom facilities were excellent, hot shower great water pressure, with all the comforts you need to enjoy a relaxing stay in Tagatay, we will come again.

The place is quiet and peaceful. My parents, being senior citizens, love the family suite with exceptional view of the garden. The restaurant also had Filipino comfort food.

Cozy place and good view”
If you were to book a room in this hotel, I recommend ng Room H. I think it has a better view than the other rooms. The room G has the same view as room H but has a tree in front so you don't get to enjoy the whole view. Everything for me is perfect except for the water heater. It's fluctuating. When you turn the knob to heat the water, it will get really hot then really cold then really hot. Weird. But for like a minute you get the nice water temp then it will fluctuate back to cold/hot. I hope they can fix this

Good choice for family travelers”
We tried the attic room this time. By the way, this was our second time to check-in in this hotel. We find the attic room cozy but the floor is shaking especially if you have kids running and walking. Can be improved. We will still avail of their rooms but not the attic anymore. The toilet drain was inefficient. We have to ask the staff to drain the water coz it was already creating a puddle in the toilet. This was caused by the shower since there was no shower curtain to begin with.

The place had a very scenic view. It is very quiet and I would recommend getting the room with balcony to get the best view of Taal Volcano. I love that the place had a restaurant serving Japanese and Filipino dishes. The staff were very friendly. The only suggestion that I would have perhaps is regarding the bed in our room which seems to be in need of replacement already. But overall, we had a great stay
