The best hotel I ever have stayed”
Very good value hotel and helpful staff with good location which easy to find a lot of restaurants near by. Best of the best There were free meal from 8 pm and free snack in the late afternoon. To be sure I will come back if I am around hualien county.

The room was a good size and quite comfortable for a family. Unlike most hotels in Taiwan, the beds were quite soft. We enjoyed the late night snack at 8pm and the free ice cream. We only stayed one night, but if we had been there longer, we would have enjoyed using the bicycles.

Fantastic”
Walking distance to and from Hualien Station. Just look out for a bright yellow building which is very visible from the station. Staff service is impeccable and exemplary. They would drop whatever they are going just to greet you aloud, like Japanese style. Close to dining options too though bit far to night market. But no fault of theirs. 1st hotel we come across that serves supper and its so sumptious with noodles, porridge etc which can be considered as late dinner. Lots of variety for buffet breakfast too. You will be spoilt for choice. They tried to arrange a Taroka Gorge day trip for us. But travel agency advised not to go there as they are falling rocks and stones. Instead we spend time in Hualien city instead. We book a business double but they upgraded us free to a quad room with 2 queen beds equipped with a bath tub. 2 thumbs up to them. Only issue is sound proofing can be better. You can literally hear conversations when people talk and pass by the corridor outside.

Complimentary supper and breakfast!”
This is our first time encountering a hotel with complimentary supper! We went with not much expectation but Kindness Hotel Hualien wowed us with a full-fledged buffet spread that is consistently being replenished throughout the supper hours from 8.30pm to 11.00pm! Even our local driver has never heard about it before. Both supper and breakfast offerings are great. Rooms are decent. Will definitely check out other Kindness hotels in Taiwan when we revisit!

Great staff with comfy room ”
I initially book a room with king size bed with a single bed but they upgrade me to a double king size bed room which is very big and comfortable. It comes with a sofa too. The hotel provide bike that you can travel around with especially when it is not very convenient to travel around Hualien where there are not many buses. They also provide umbrella for guest to use when it is raining. The shower is very "shiok" as the shower head comes with 3 different types of function that makes you wash from head to toes. Take note of the 7 shower heads. So special. I will definitely come back to this hotel in future when i am back to hualien.

Excellent for Value”
The hotel is located in a decent spot, near to the Hualien train station with many leisure options (i.e. bowling, karaoke, cinema) in the immediate vicinity. It is about a 20mins walk from the main shopping area though. The room was spacious and clean. The best part is the complimentary food. There is excellent complimentary breakfast buffet, supper buffet and free flow of drinks and ice-cream throughout the day. In fact, we mainly took our breakfast and dinner at the hotel. All in all, an excellent for value choice for a hotel at Hualien.

Pleasantly surprised that Kindness Hotel @ Hualien has a family room for 6. It consists of a big room of 2 double bed and another small room attached with 1 double bed. And the room has 2 bathrooms. Very clean and ample toiletries provided. As per reviewed by other travelers, the hits provides both breakfast and supper with relatively good spread.

I am so glad I picked this hotel on my first visit in Hualien. From the impressive lobby, courteous staff, clean, spacious and well-lighted, modern bathroom with complete amenities, 24-hour ice cream and beverages, to the buffet breakfast and evening dessert (it's more of a dinner but starts at 9pm), I couldn't ask for more. This hotel is big and is a 5 mins walking distant from Hualien Station. The room is spacious, The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, they will greet you whenever if they see you around. They provide breakfast and supper come with standard buffet spread... they served 24 hours hot drinks and ice cream. They also have laundry service and free bicycle for borrowing, you can cycle to Dong Da Men Night Market. The hotel outside have family mart, Karaoke, Arcade games and some eatries. Highly recommended.

Came to hualien for wedding photoshoot and book this hotel. Room was big and cosy. Worth every value. Guest was very friendly and helpful upon guest request. They have laundry room and rental bicycle for guest to use. Worth the value and would recommended anyone to try this hotel .

Great Hotel in Hualien”
We stayed one night before our Taroko Gorge tour. Check-in was easy, front desk staff efficient. Our biggest surprise was the included buffet dinner that night. We appreciated it because we didn't have to go out in the pouring rain. Nice breakfast with Taiwanese & Western food. You could get free coffee, tea, water, sweets & ice cream just outside the restaurant available all day & night. Our room was large, bed comfortable. We could hear a little hallway noise but it didn't keep us awake. I would definitely stay here again if in Hualien.
