Amazing hill view homestay with convenient location ”
I stayed at this homestay for two nights. The family and staff were very nice and helpful. The owner recommended me a few restaurants and cafe around the area and they were really nice. Room was clean and all amenities were clean and fresh. They have hot water showers. Wifi was good. Just 10 mins walk from the town central and I managed to visit the street food shops at night market. This homestay really is a great place for solo travellers. Hope to visit again to Berastagi.

This was my best place to stay in months. Very clean rooms with European standard. Delicious breakfast and very friendly and nice owners. They will help you with anything you need or ask. It was really perfect! And Berastagi is a very pretty village with lots to do and see.

Good Stay”
This hotel-homestay style located at the strategic location in the heart of Berastagi. It takes only 1 hours and half to one of the tourist Danau Toba hotspot by motorcycle. Other than that, its nearby to Gundaling Hill hotspot. The view from my room was also nice and stunning. Very welcoming staf. Recommended for solo, couple, or small family.

The hosts, a lovely couple and their family, were exceptionally helpful and kind to my family and I throughout our 2D 2N stay. The breakfast provided was delicious, the rooms clean & comfortable, the hot shower facility a luxury in the cold weather, and food/activities recommended/arranged by the hosts were excellent. Would definitely return should I visit Berastagi again!

Our stay at Kaesa Homestay was more than perfect. What a lovely people! They helped us with transport to get out from Berastagi and keep our trip, gave us advice about things to do and eat around the area. The breakfast was super delicious (and different everyday!), the room clean and the bed comfy! Don't miss the trekking to Mount Sibayak from the Homestay. Conclusion: if you spend a few days in Berastagi, stay at Kaesa Homestay! :)

Friendly owner pack with alot of information about the place of interest and they are able to assist on all the transportation arrangement. Comfortable bed and good hot shower. Loves the simple yet delicious breakfast. Stayed for my 1st arrival and returned for 2nd stay when I'm back to Berastagi before departed back. Bapa, Ibu, Bryan and their staff are all very friendly and make the Homestay feels homey.

It was the best our stay in Sumatra. The owners are soooo nice, very helpful, provide all information about Berastagi, places where to eat, hiking to vulcano, trip to see orangutans. In this place we felt like familie members. They even were waiting for us to come back from Ketambe late in the night. Location is very good, everything is in walkable distances. Breakfast is super delicious and every morning different dish. I defenately can recommend this place!

These were the best hosts i ever had in SEA! Kaesa works for the tourism department and is thus very knowledgeable about the region (and Sumatra in general), ask him all your questions! His wife cooks an amazing (and big) breakfast every morning! The rooms were simple, but very clean and the bed super comfortable. highly recommended!

Nice Homestay”
I had a nice stay in this place. The owner arranged a guide ( Rijal) for sunrise trek to Mount Sibayak and also we can get two more guest staying there to join the Trek. After the trek which was awesome after that we went to hot spring pools. Highly recommended
