Jessar is one of our favorite hotel apartelle in Tagaytay. I felt like its our second home in Tagaytay. I like to work there because the wifi signal upstairs is very fast.

For over nighters”
The Deluxe room was big for an appartelle. We just added extra bed for the 2 kids, still comfortably big for an overnight stay. When we are in Tagaytay, we are mostly out exploring and not cooped up in a hotel. We usually just return to the hotel by midnight. So a budget-friendly appartelle like Jessar suits us just fine.

Exceptional”
Jessar has always made us feel that it is our home away from home whenever we are in Tagaytay. The place has been well-maintained and has been kept cozy. I highly recommend this place if you need a place to stay in when in Tagaytay. :)

affordable, quiet, and clean hotel in Tagaytay”
we stayed in jessar apartelle for 2days/1 night last april and it was a relaxing place to stay yet affordable. the hotel itself is small but their rooms are big. they knew well that somebody booked thru agoda and they were expecting us. immediately upon arrival, they brought us to our room. their staff were friendly and hospitable, too! in terms of view, we had to ride a tricycle to picnic grove. we paid 30 pesos for the ride. there were a lot of stalls for food and souvenir there. since, jessar apartelle does not have a cafeteria or a restaurant, we had our lunch at alamat in picnic grove and dinner at mile hi diner. mile hi diner is located near leslie's and it's a bit far from jessar so the tricycle ride was p100. going back to jessar at night was a bit scary but the tricycle drivers know the place so we were not lost. in general, i am more than satisfied with my stay there.

Good value but needs improvement”
Before anything else, if you are visiting Tagaytay, having a car is a big advantage. The location of this hotel is accessible if you are taking a private commute van from Manila as this will pass directly through the road leading the hotel. However, traffic in Tagaytay sometimes is as bad as Manila thus the location of this hotel is somewhat far for my standards. Deluxe Room: The room was clean, spacious, AC is good, bathroom is clean. The room will provide you the basic necessities of a BnB. However, there is no closet to put our clothes and there is no intercom/phone directed to the reception. Phone is not an issue though because the hotel is as big as a medium two floor house and you can just go straight to the counter, unlike the big hotels at the center. Though it will still be an advantage if you wish to stay in the room. The hotel room walls are also not thick enough to be soundproof so even the surrounding of the hotel is peaceful, you can hear the kids from the other room shouting and running. We haven't tried the meals so I have no comment on that. Overall, the stay was a good experience. Staff is quick and attentive, the price for the deluxe room is a good deal. Having a cabinet, an intercom and a soundproof room would have completed my experience.

Well maintained rooms and clean conform room”
Jessar aprtelle is strategically located near the main road.very convenient on the part of the guests who have their own vehicle to drive.it has a large parking area and a refrigerator to all the guests at the lounge area, that can accommodate perishable items that the guests have possessed. However since its summer time we experienced insufficient supply of water on our 2nd day after lunch.thus, made us demand for a bucket of water for our shower needs.Nevertheless, when I confirmed to the staff of Jessar they don't have large storage of water that can able to supply their guests all through their stay especially during peak season. With that note overall when we talk on the value for Money it is highly recommend.

Not overlooking, but strategic feels like home.”
Just stayed overnight. If you're looking for an overlooking view, then Jessar is not for you. Its location is far from the ridge but still strategic anyway. Near fruit stands, Mr. Moo, the city market and halfway to most tourist spots. And what we like about our stay is the feeling that your just home. Good ambiance. Peaceful "neighborhood", the street where Jessar is Francisco Road, and here a good number of small inns and apartelles are located.

Quick check-in, quiet neighborhood, relaxing stay”
They original gave us a bigger room, but when we returned from roving around Tagaytay attractions, we found our things moved to the next room which is smaller albeit still remains comfortable and big for the two of us. They bumped us because according to the staff, the room wherein we were originally assigned was already booked (apparently a family came in so they deem it suitable for them to use our room). What I hated is they moved our things without letting us know (they did it while we were gone). Good thing notting was lost and the staff is relatively ok.

simple and inexpensive”
it was nice and comfy. not ideal if you don't have your own transpo. it would be hard to go to certain places in tagaytay from there. but it was a nice place there was a store right that has almost everything you'll need. we'll definitely consider staying again.

Peaceful, Private and Friendly”
It was nice and quiet. Although it wasn't on the main road where you'll see the Taal Volcano/ Lake, it's pretty close. The map is wrong though, when you're coming from Santa Rosa - Tagaytay road, it's not on the left but on the right and you need to enter a small steep road. It has a sign on the corner and the locals were helpful with directions so it was pretty easy to spot. Check In was easy, We just showed our reservation and signed the log book and were promptly escorted to our room which was on the ground floor. The room was clean, they had cable TV but I didn't notice the WiFi since I had my own data. The bathroom was a little slippery and the door needs to be fixed but it was forgivable since it does close and they have hot water. I don't think they have room service since I didn't see anything pertaining to food (like a menu)but we really didn't mind since we went out to eat. The staff is friendly and they even let us put food in their fridge even after check-out since we still wanted to go around and enjoy the sights before leaving. If you're on a budget and looking for a place to rest after sightseeing and restaurant hopping all day, This place is for you.

Small hotel with clean rooms ang good-smelling lin”
The place is really good if you are staying in Tagaytay to attend an event. Since the room has no view and linens are not luxurious, it is not for relaxation. But for its rate and cleanliness, i recommend it. The room & bathroom are clean, though linens are simple, they smell nice & clean. It has a table and 2 chairs, basic needs such as soap, shampoo and toothbrush are provided. Has cable tv & AC. They have an outdoor kitchen guests can use. If you want to rent a whole house, they have one at the same compund, clean also. Very accommodating staff esp. No food available.

Best kept secret in Tagaytay”
I have a wonderful time at Jessar. The rooms are big and the staff are friendly, Sam, Badette and Mylene made my stay memorable. There is a few things this place lacks off is the bathroom is quite small and the sink does'nt have counter space to put your toilet stuff and the room has no closet to hang your stuff but other than that, it is more adequate and managable. If you want a bang for your buck, this is the place.
