Hotels near Katara Beach

We booked a 2 bed apartment for our stay in Feb 19. We were welcomed into the hotel and given an early check in with no hassle, my pre booking requests had also been considered. Unfortunately when we were taken to our apartment in a pretty grotty Tower 1 we were very disappointed It was not what we were expecting based on the photos. It was very large, but the decor was old and tired and I wouldn't have wanted to cook in the kitchen. We went back to T4 and asked if there was an alternative. We were given 3 alternatives. We chose to pay more and move to two hotel rooms, a superior and a premium, which were lovely and far more in line with the standard we were expecting on a middle eastern hotel. At all stages of the booking in, faffing with room and the rest of our stay, all of the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. I would recommend this hotel, but stay in tower 3 or 4.

Everything was great from the hotel location: great and amazing view of the Arabian gulf, cleanliness: housekeeping staff was hospitable (Trio and Joseph), front desk staff were warm and accommodating (Irene, Hafez). Check-in and check-out processing time was fine but card key was not available at check-in. My only issue was for the car parking services, I inquired and wanted to park my car on the basement parking lot but was told by front desk staff that basement parking access was just for long-term stay (guests). On my 2nd night of stay, as I was assisted by security personnel he told me that front space parking was full and I was asked to park outside, in front of the hotel beside the road, as to arrange this issue, finally they let me inside the basement parking. Please hotel management must organize regarding guests car parking issues. Nevertheless my stay here was great, I would rate my overall experience as 4 out of 5 stars.

From the moment I made the booking until I left the service has been excellent. They really try their best to accommodate customers with late check out, luggage assistance, direction to town assistance, access to spa to change before the flight (useful when one has a night flight)...location convenient with nearby buss stop. Bus 777 to town or airport nearby the hotel which is a very cheap alternative to taxis.

My 7yr old son and I had an overnight stay here. We were made very welcome by all the staff. We were placed on the road side as there was a music event happening on the sea side. The room had great views of the city and was of a large size. We used the pool and the beach which were clean with good waiter service. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it to anyone with children.

Let me tell you, this is the best hotel ever. Not because of the facilities or anything but because of the staff. For me the first thing you rate in a hotel are the staff. They are ALL excellent and they all deserve 5 stars! Very courteous, listens to you, very attentive and of course the important thing, they smile at you. Had a very comfortable and lovely stay at the hotel with my family. I know because they are true to their slogan: Swiss Hospitality. Location was perfect near City Center. Had a nice view in our room. The food were terrific with varieties of choices in our breakfast buffet. ***My wife lost her gold watch and after 3 days of looking in our house we called the hotel to ask if ever she lost it in our room. They confirmed and they gladly returned it back to us.

Me and My Friends had a wonderful experience at The Ritz-Carlton Doha. Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff, life guards were delightful and eager to help! Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean.The rooms were clean, very comfortable with a nice and relaxing view. I would like to thank Mr. Jordan who went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable sending us by golf car to dinner in B-Lounge, roaming around and taking our pictures and sending us back to the hotel. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check out late at like 3pm. The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Thank you! I highly recommend this hotel to my colleagues!

I have booked three nights with my family from 2-5 August. My reservation was half- board with breakfast and dinner. The hotel was a little bit crowded but it is expected as no one was able to travel abroad this summer due to travel restrictions. The staff made our stay way easier and did their best to accommodate every request from our side. The set menu for the breakfast had many varieties, and the food taste was very good, yet the dinner menu had limited options and the taste was just ok. Yet the manager of the Coral sea restaurant did all he can to make it up for us and asked us if he can make anything we want especially for our likes. I would defiantly say that the best thing at the intercontinental in this busy vacation was the hotel staff Thank you

Despite a short stay, I had a chance to enjoy many of the amenities of that superb hotel. Great room design (the Nespresso coffee machine in the room is such a lovely touch), beautiful bathroom, excellent dinner and top-notch buffet breakfast. On top of that, the gym is quite good and the swimming pool pleasant. The checkin/checkout experience was very friendly. If I had one minor criticism it's the fact that in the evening the restaurant plays their background music quite loud. Trying to have a conversation there is very straining, since everybody basically try to cover the music to talk to their table guests. I basically just stopped talking and focused on the excellent and creative food...

The service is great and my stay is great but I also had expectations in mind before my check-in. I imagine that a five star hotel will be different from a three star hotel which is not. The three star hotel is using an LED or SMART TV with 42 to 55 inches which opposite in the room where I stay. Since you selected two adults, I expect that there will be two sandals and extra towels. I expect that there will be more information ahead like "Sir, I will charging your credit card with this amount for security purposes.." (I understand its usually a protocol by hotels) but it will never hurt informing your guest...Overall, I enjoyed my stay and still will recommend it to others because the food is superb :)

The hotel is nice, with pool and beach. You have all the amenities that you need and I consider it 5* luxury We faced few issues, check in took around 2 hrs as the hotel was fully booked and facing too many issues, same applied to check out. The staff is very nice and helpful; except the security guard at the lobby was very rude disrespectful. Special thanks to Malik at reception, very efficient and friendly. We enjoyed our time at the Dunes lounge, great singer and ambiance.

I have stayed in numerous hotels in Doha and this is without doubt the best one out there. The location is excellent, since it is in the city centre, in close proximity to the shopping mall, business district and is on the corniche (basically the only place you can walk by on foot in Doha). Despite being centrally located the hotel has a beautiful beach. The pool area is stunning as well. The rooms are big and very clean. The attention to detail from staff is excellent. Towels, toiletries, complimentary fruit, water, ice are constantly replenished. Truly an excellent hotel and will no doubt choose the Four Seasons in Doha on my next trip there.

It was nice stay, with nice view on part of the sea and city buildings. Parking space is good. The location is among other nice Hotels like Kempinski and W Hotel. From the Hotel You can walk to the City Centre Mall. Restaurant location in the hotel is small, with very low breakfast menu. The apartment was large and well designed. Good equipped kitchen was in the apartment.
