the bus &train station only 5" walk, the staff also very helpful. love the design, very "hualien" with lots of stones. although not many foods arround, but because the bus station right infront of the hotel, so we can go arround city by bus to find foods.

It’s very near the Hualien Train Station. Very convenient to walk from it. Next to it have one rental car company at the right corner gives very good service ”
The hotel is very clean and quite new. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a cupboard for hanging clothes. Everything is hanging on the wall and very limited hangers.

Very near the Hualien train station and opposite of the Hualien Bus Station. Room is huge for the family room. The view is also spectacular. Staff were friendly and nice!

probably the closest decent hotel near the station”
affordable price, decent food, clean and bright room, plus the nearest hotel just across Hualien station. And there's a place you can rent bikes or vehicles just next to it. Recommend, if you are newbie or first time backpacker and the B&B might be too risky to you, choose a good hotel to start a journey, not a bad idea.

Best hotel on my trip. Room was large and clean. Within 3 mins walk to the bus and train stations”
Location was great. Hotel had large, clean, well-designed rooms. Staff were friendly. We had windows that looked over an office block which meant curtains had to be drawn during the day but it didn’t bother us as we were out all day. Was very convenient when we had to catch an 8.30 am train to Taipei. It’s a short taxi ride to the night market at Dongdamen but fare was about NT$130-not that expensive.

Conveniently located close to the bus station and train station. Decent breakfast. Male reception staff was not too friendly and we were not allowed to go to our room even though we arrived around noon time and the hotel occupancy was not high. Should explore other hotel options.

Bed bugs bit”
Took a nap and shortly after both of us felt itchy and had bites on our bodies. Went to the lobby to get the sheets changed, the reception person said he will change while we are out to dinner. Came back 2 hours later and they weren't changed. Spoke to reception again and had to accompany the reception person to our room where he only changed the mattress cover and not the rest of the linen.

Great,modern interior and super comfy bed”
We stayed 2 nights at Hotelday Plus Hualien and really enjoyed it! It is located near the Hualien train station, which is nice if you want to do day trips to e.g. Taroko National Park (the buses leave from the train station). The hotel is designed very stylish and we felt super comfortable in our room! The interior was super modern. Hualien night market is ~ 3 km away, so you’re better off riding a bike there. Good thing the hotel rents out bikes!:) the first 4 hours are for free, every following our costs $150 NTD, which we thought was a bit expensive. If you want to rent a bike for more than 4 hours, we recommend the bike shop next to the bus stop ($150 NTD per day)! We liked the hotel very much and would stay here again :)
