The hotel is beautifully situated amongst the Trinidad mountains and our room had a scenic view of the same. The staff was helpful and there was daily room cleaning service provided upon request which is a bonus. The rooms can be made more modern or renovated as it looked a bit old and some items/flooring looked broken. Also, there should be more dining options available at night (up to 11PM or midnight) which should also include vegan options as some travellers may arrive late and might want to have a warm meal which was not available at our time. Despite this, it was a good stay, value for money and the scenic views are worth it.
I enjoyed my stay and it was great value for the service provided. Some might feel that the hotel is a bit outdated, but customer service level makes a huge difference... plus, this hotel has a long history of being in Port of Spain since 1962. I stayed 2 nights here at the Hilton and 2 nights at the newer BRIX Hotel next door... I enjoyed my time at the Hilton much better than I did at The BRIX which I felt was way overpriced and the customer service level was lacking over there for a supposedly "5-star" hotel. This 4-star Hilton had much better service and was a better deal value-wise. And that's what makes it consistent with the Hilton brand of properties all over the world.
A really nice hotel with beautiful views and safe. Amazing rooms with excellent beds, Wi-Fi and tv. Dinner and drinks were reasonable, however the breakfast was expensive at $38USD each. We used Lola’s food shop on the food delivery service on ofooddropcaribbean for an excellent cheap breakfast alternative.
Overall was a fantastic time and staff was extremely helpful! Had a slight medical emergency and staff was able to assist immediately and especially with it being after hours! Really impressed

“Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre ”
I checked in on Saturday and immediately noticed a few issues with the room. The curtains leading to the balcony were stained, and there was also a visible stain on the couch. I contacted the front desk right away to report it, but nothing was done regarding the cleanliness concerns. On Sunday, when I tried to take a shower, there was a major issue with the water system — it would only produce extremely hot water. An engineer was eventually sent to address the hot/cold water problem, which I appreciated. However, what truly disappointed me was that when I requested a room change due to the stained curtains and couch, my request was refused. As a guest, I expected better service and accommodations, especially when raising legitimate concerns about room condition. Overall, the lack of responsiveness and refusal to move me to another room was very disappointing.
