Good Place to Stay”
Good Place to Stay It's in a quiet residential area and just few minutes’ walk you will be in the busy Hongdae area. It is also close to the Hongik University metro station. The facilities are clean. There's a working kitchen, a filtered drinking machine and very friendly helpful staffs.

Nice Location”
The location is near the exit 3 of hongik univ. Since the guesthouse is in hongdae, there are lots of establishments nearby. There is no elevator, good thing our room is in 2nd floor. The common room was kept tidy and the trash cans were emptied everyday. Bathrooms is okay, shampoo and conditioner were provided but the walls are thin. The bed is comfortable. Hassle free check in and check out. The staff are very responsive in our query.

All the rooms are connected to a small kitchen, so you can cook and use a medium size fridge. One toilet for around 8 people to use if your room is fully booked. Also no central water for drinking. Overall not a bad place, and I would totally return:)

If you have a lot of luggages, it's hard when you are assigned to the 4th floor. Glad I have a friend who carried my luggage and backpack up to the 4th flr. And also, when I went down checking out, two girls also helped me. They were my angels that morning. ☺️😇 P.S. It is also self-check-in. They will email you an instruction for the pw and everything. No staff from the guesthouse will help you physically.

Good for Group Travelling”
Overall is good. Bathroom was big at this price point. We recommend this place for group travelling, not a pair. You better stay with 5-8 of friends, so you could stay in the same house and sharing the Kitchen and Bathroom with friends, not strangers.

I stayed almost 3 weeks in a shared bunk room (6 beds) and a separate room with one bunk bed-so add two people more and one shared bathroom for 8 people if fully booked! Staff is super nice…did not have many question as I come to Seoul every year and try different hostels and as my go to hostel closed due to the pandemic. :( There were no curtain installed (yet-as they had a change in management and they just started changing things), air condition was working but as it was getting colder not often used! There was a big window which could not be open-so with 6 people in the room it was getting quite smelly and the air was bad after staying to long in the room… The rooms should have been vacuumed at least every other day as 6 people bring in too much stuff and dirt! If you have girls staying there, you will have the hair strands flying and laying around everywhere… Bathroom needs to be cleaned everyday and the trash as well-sometime too full and people just left stuff in the room. Beds were quite hard, so it’s not comfy if you are not feeling well and want to stay in bed for a day or two! Separate room had better and thicker mattresses-why is that? There was no common room for people to meet and exchange but maybe they are on it to change! Location is on the other side of busy and sometimes crowded hongdae Main Street but just 7 minutes walking and you are in the middle of everything…subway/airport train etc. I would stay there again but not as long as I did because after 5 days, I really started to have back pain and missed a comfy mattress :’(

A Basic Accommodation ”
The pictures are misleading we thought we got private bathroom and it is actually sharing among 3 rooms (1 family room, 1 twin room and 1 double room) in 1 unit at level 3. if the unit is fully booked, you are basically sharing with a lot of people. It is a residential building with at least 3-4 floor and with 1 or 2 unit on the floor. The reception is at level 3, common dining area is their work area. No lift for this building, the staircase from ground floor going up to L2-L3 is really narrow and dark at night. There isn’t any physical lock or digital lock at the main door on the ground floor, but each unit’s main door has a digital lock. Unfortunately our room doesn’t come with any key for the door lock, although there’s a basic door lock. The reception told us, there’s no any key for this. so we left our room unlock everyday before we went out. The aircon in the bedroom is basically for showing purpose only. We couldn’t find a socket to plug in the AC plug and it’s look very dirty like never use for very long. We didn’t get heater in our room. The horrible thing was the mosquitos in the room. After the first night, we got bitten by the mosquitos all over the hand, legs, neck and our body. We tried to kill them by using the insect repellent. But it doesn’t work. We suspect the mosquitos are coming from the window, but we couldn’t fully shut the window. One good thing about this place is wifi is free and high speed. Bathroom has hot shower.

The women's room was noisy. Not considerate of people who come to stay It's the loudest and longest-standing group of friends out there. The caregiver didn't help.

It was not a comfortable stay for me. The volunteer staff were mostly kind and friendly but there was 1 vulgar girl, I think from Uruguay, who was inconsiderate at all times. She just managed to make fake laughing sounds trying to act like a staff. She would jump heavily on the rooftop past midnight hours. It was unbelievably loud that even people 2 floors down were shaken by the intense jump noise at such a late hour.

Terrible place full of mosquitos and rude staff”
I couldn’t sleep or rest because of the amount of mosquitos inside the room and bathroom. They were everywhere, window wouldn’t close properly and AC didn’t work. The staff was rude and extremely loud, I would keep getting woken up by them, even at 4am. The room was tiny with no space for storage. Asked for a double room 2 weeks in advance and was given a twin room which was clean but with no space to unpack. The living space was clean and had a place to cook. I did not enjoy my time there and would definitely not go back there especially at the price. Only real positive was the location which was very walkable to most of Hongdae. 3/10 overall. Can’t state how bad the mosquitos were and how I couldn’t sleep because of them.

Think twice if you are staying in dorms here I stayed in 6 px dorm if people talks outside you hear there is no shades so you have the street light in you’re face, Beds are not comfortable and there is not even a small curtain so no privacy, there is almost never no one from staff so no service
