      “Perfect spot in Tokyo”

First of all the location is great! Location is a huge point while doing sightseeing. You can walk to the famous electronic town and also to Asakusa. The Asakusa line brings you directly to the airport for only 1310¥. Take Chuo Sobu line for a quick trip to Shinjuku. The staff is helpful. Especially the guy at the evening duty yesterday was really friendly. There is free water and strong wifi Breakfast can be booked for over 600¥ which I wouldn’t recommend- rather go and enjoy delicious Japanese food The hostel is comfortable and so clean! I loved it. Plus they have a whole women floor on 2 & 3 which is great! They provide not only shampoo, shower gel and conditioner but also slippers, hair dryer and four different kind of face treatments Bed is super comfortable and very clean I love the capsule style with lots of privacy and usb and normal charging option. Lockers available and you don’t need your own lock. Only downside is the towels. Please provide them for free instead of charging That would be great

“I was able to have a conversation with someone from overseas 😊”

Thank you very much for allowing me to stay the other day. I used your facility for business purposes, but I was also interested in international exchanges, so I gathered the courage to speak to some foreign guests in simple English in the shared space and had conversations about the places they have visited. As a result, I was able to talk with people from Switzerland, Australia, and Russia, which was enjoyable. However, there were few people interacting in the shared space, so it required some courage to approach them. I wonder if the hotel is encouraging communication or not. If they do encourage it, I think it would be nice to create an atmosphere for it, such as preparing a board where guests can put sticky notes or stickers indicating where they have been to serve as conversation starters. If they do not particularly promote interaction, then the current situation is fine. That said, with the presence of a shared kitchen, I felt that it was designed to encourage communication. Also, regarding the room, coming from a Japanese perspective, the feeling of uncleanliness in the wet areas and on the floor stood out. I believe that simply wiping the wet areas and the floor with alcohol wipes would significantly improve the situation. This is, of course, if they want to attract Japanese guests as well. If viewed from the hygiene perspective of overseas guests, I think there would be no problem at all. However, if it is desired for guests to say things like "it smelled nice" or "I felt hospitality" in a Japanese hostel, I think it would be worth trying. Just placing an aroma diffuser in the hallway or shared space could change the impression significantly. It would be sad if overseas guests rated it by saying it was a Japanese hostel but did not smell nice. I feel that overseas guests tend to enjoy scents, such as perfumes. I apologize for my rambling. I stayed here on a business trip from Osaka and had a enjoyable night, so I wanted to leave a comment as a way to give back. Also, the roasted pork shop nearby was incredibly delicious. Asakusa Bridge is the best, indeed. Thank you very much.

“Great & fuss-free for solo travellers!”

I stayed in their single room with private toilet and shower. The room was simple & straightforward and the layout of the room worked well for me. Cleanliness is top notch as well and they provide housekeeping daily. Do note that they are very particular on check in time, even though I wanted to check in 15mins before 4pm I was rejected.

      “Very good! 👍😘”

Very good! Very clean! All the equipment and appliances are complete. Convenient and safe travel, with no disturbing noise. The kids loved the bunk bed very much; it was strong. Close to delicious restaurants and convenience stores. Actually, I wanted to stay longer but had to move to another city. I will definitely come back to stay next time!

      “Exceptional”

If you're always out and about, Grids Tokyo Asakusabashi is the place to stay to get a good night sleep while travelling on a budget. The place is nearby the station and convenience stores. Our room came with its own bathroom which was amazing. We love the shower gels and shampoos so it's nice for people who are travelling light (don't need to bring towels too).
