Location is far from anything, so you need definitely a car. Communication with the front staff was a little confusing, which let us assume we had dinner included and we ended up one night without food, too late and too tired to find anything anymore. With 3 young children, that was not really the best. They offered nothing and wanted us to pay around 700 x 4 (including 3 and 4 year old). We got an "upgrade" which we did not want (and which was not really an upgrade). Basically just a different view, but it had really zero meaning. The rooms were advertised at the same rate anyways. Facilities are overrated, we had better experiences here in Taiwan for less. The shower was broken. No shower gel, only shampoo left. Breakfast and restaurant staff were very kind and supportive all the time. There are plenty of better options available, especially when considering the location and price.

I haven't been to Taitung for a long time. I saw a discount on Agoda and quickly made a reservation. The overall cost-performance ratio is very high. They provide free late-night snacks, and although it's just simple congee and side dishes, I was already very satisfied! There's a 7-11 next door, so it's very convenient to buy anything. If you want to go to the city's Tiehua Village at night, it only takes 10 minutes by car. The breakfast is quite tasty; there aren't too many choices, but they have all the essentials! Pets are not allowed in the room, but they provide a designated space for pets that is clean, bright, and has air conditioning! I will definitely come back to stay at this place next time.

I had a very comfortable and clean stay at the Grand Lily Hotel! The staff were friendly, and there was one employee who spoke English! Most staff do not speak English, but they try to help you with what you need and communicate through body language. They are really kind! Go to the hotel lounge bar and have some whiskey, it’s fantastic~ There is a 7-Eleven right next to it, and the air conditioning and water pressure were both great. I brought my own showerhead just in case, but I didn’t see any rusty water the entire time I used it. The location was perfect since I was there for work at National Taitung University, making it excellent for my companions~ I would love to use this hotel again!
