Classic hotel, bit stiff service at the check-in, staff not very welcoming at for example the gym. Rooms are ok, as anywhere else in Shanghai aircon was switched off but you are able to open windows. The hotel has the advantage of a subway station and 2 malls next and opposite and buses go from here to offices in the neighborhood which is very convenient for me. Food was ok, not very good.

Prime Location”
Stayed at Evergreen Laurel Hotel for 3 nights and had a great experience. Services were great, and the location of the hotel is really good. Overall cleanliness is great too and will definitely want to go back to this hotel when I am back in Shanghai. For business travellers, if you have shipments to be send to them, note that they are very willing to help accept the packages and staffs are all friendly too.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Large, clean rooms. Friendly staff that tries really hard to please. The hotel is located next to the Line 2 train station which connects PVG airport with the city. If you take Line 2 for two extra stops, you may use the super fast MAGLEV train to get to the airport. The Maglev is very convenient since it gets you to the airport in 7 minutes, compared to 40mins on the train. The Maglev is worth the effort. Back to the hotel. The rooms were large and new. The rooms have all the amenities Western travelers are accustomed to. The hotel is also near a shopping mall which has many places to eat and a lively night life. Great value and location make this hotel a good choice.

If you know the Metro then this is the perfect hotel for a holiday”
Right next to Line 2 Metro so you can easily get everywhere in Shanghai from the "cheap goods at Science and Technolgoy stop to Nanjing road (east or West) and also the Bund and any connecting lines. Localy the hotel is connected to a shopping mall but if you go down into the station you can walk across to the Chamtime shopping area and also good cheap foods.

Very nice location it is very near to a metro subway station that connects directly to Pudong Airport, and Shanghai city centre, saves a lot on Transportation cost as metro is fairly cheap. Nearby shopping area also for eating out and occasional shopping.

The room is very clean and classic. As compared to other hotels of the same price, it is much better from my point of view. The bed is very cosy and there’s a mall opposite to the hotel. Subway station is right next to the hotel.

Located quite near to SNIEC and Metro station is right in front if want to go downtown. Nearby shopping complexes for quick shopping. Only half hour to Pudong Airport.

Hardware is new, but details incomplete”
Hardware is new but software is Chinese standards, you know what I meant. The new hotel did not deco in stylish way, maybe old-fashioned is their style? I booked through Agoda in the afternoon and checked in at 8:45-9 pm, the front desk could not find my booking, the reservation department did not work at night, and need back and forth before let me in until 9:30 pm. Although the reception was still patient and nice. The location is nice, but the street and shoping centre in front of the hotel actually is very noise.

The hotel is very suitable for bsuiness traveler who went to attend the recent chinajoy. Surrounding the hotel, there is a big mall right infront of the hotel. The train station is just 1 min walk. The hotel is super clean and very comforable. However, their massage center has closed. there is nothing much you can do at night.

Location is okay. Next to 2 middle sized malls with lots of restaurants around. Near to exhibition centre, cost me RMB 30 for taxi per journey. Disappointing is the breakfast. 2 person's room, but they only include breakfast for 1 person. I have to fork out additional RMB 138 for 2nd person PER breakfast. Breakfast is just okay. Not even worth RMB 70 in my opinion. Conclusion: I will try other hotels next time. Might have better offer.
