Rain or Shine, the view was exceptional!!!”
We love the location of the hotel as it is fronting Taal Lake. The weather added to the experience, whether it was raining or the sun is up, the view was spectacular. The pool was a good experience too. The gym is also clean and well maintained. I love the spa experience too, highly recommended therapist! The staff are all friendly and helpful. Lastly, the restaurant had a good breakfast spread, there were a lot of choices and all were delicious.

Awesome view of taal lake ”
We were group of 4 and stayed in Premier Family for 2 night 5/29 to 5/31. It was an excellent stay. We were suppose to stay overnight only for my friends birthday but after few research we decided to book another night. I reviewed the other booking already but was not published, I don't know why. Anyway, the place is super nice, the family premier have a private balcony facing the taal view. The room is super spacious. The staff are all nice! from the guard, to the housekeeping staff, even the lifeguard and the people at the resto were all super nice. The breakfast is really good! I super duper enjoyed it! The most surprising thing for me is that, the hotel allows grab and food panda delivery, when they have their own restaurant. So long as you will consume your food in your room, but still they are sooooo accomodating for allowing that.Thank you! The Bellisimo restaurant is really good and with that view! The only thing I really want to comment is the pool. On our 1st day, there were floating little swimmer hehe swimming with the guest but they changed the pool water immediately! The other thing is that it is soooooo cold my goodness, even if the sun is out and blazing, the pool water is so cold still. Would be nice to have a heated water. Other than that, it was an awesome, awesome experience and would definitly come back!

Sublime experience”
1st stay was only overnight. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked a second time, but this time for 3 days, and treated our parents and sibling as well. The pool, the vista, the facilities, the food, the architecture, and most importantly, the staff made our stay very relaxing, comfortable, and blissful. It's the whole package. I'd like to put emphasis on the hospitality, courtesy and discipline of the staff. They're the cherry on top. You could stay in a nice hotel but if you have crappy treatment from the staff, the whole experience is ruined. That's why I give credit to the staff of Escala, for being so accommodating, and also orderly. All in all, worth the trip. We will definitely book again.

We stayed at room with the view of the pool and a glimpse of taal lake and volcano. The room is very clean and spacious complete toiletries and the room smells good. We really loved and enjoyed staying there. Smart tv has many channels to choose from bed are spacious but slightly soft which is not comfy for our backs(not hotels fault). Food at resto was quite ok but expensive. Breakfast was awsome. And the view at the retaurant was amazing. The infinity pool was really cold but with a breath taking view. We did laps. Staffs are very friendly and accomodating. Parking is secured.

Spent my birthday stay cation here during the pandemic. The covered parking is across the main hotel. There is a guard who will assist you. You have to sign a health declaration form & pass through temp scanner & disinfectant mist. A security deposit of 2000 is needed. Clean & used pens are separate. The pool at night is amazing at it has lights. Deluxe Room where we stayed was on L3. Amenities are tv with cignal cable, electric kettle, aircon, ceiling fan, blower, hot & cold shower, complete bathroom toiletries (check out my youtube video at https://youtu.be/pPamjmZ5E9s). Breakfast was plated but has choices, filipino, sweets, american. We choose american. I love the waffles, tsokolate batirol & sausage. The bacon was a bit bland. Prices on the Bellissima restaurant is good for sharing. Pizza and pasta are not the best but has big servings. Waiters are very accommodating. Too bad we were not able to enjoy the pool & the scenery because it was foggy due to a typhoon. There is a gym but we did not use it. Downside of the room is you can hear the next room people if they are too noisy. Room has a pool view. No handtowel provided but all other toilet amenities are their. Will I go back? Yes.

Superb ambience, courteous staff”
It has always been my dream to visit the place, and every time I want to stay, it's fully booked. Finally I got myself and my son a Deluxe Suite room! The receptionist was so nice and she got me the nicest spot. OMG it was superb I love our room, very clean and it was in the center I love it! Just be ready, coz prior to your check in, you need to undergo antigen test (nasal swab) P300 pesos per pax. Of course you need to present your Covid-19 vaccination card and P2000.incidendal deposit too. I can't complain as we had a great time in Escala. Thank you very much for the nice experience. Definitely we will go back.

5 stars for all. We were allowed early check in by 2pm. Staff were all kind and nice and accommodating. Foods are great at the restaurant. Even the buffet breakfast has so many choices of food. Nice view at the pool. We used the gym, too. Room was very clean. Overall it was a great experience.

Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. my daughter ( 1 year old) really enjoyed swimming in the pool even if it is not heated. :) My husband and I really enjoyed our stay because of the spectacular view! +++ points because staff are nice and helpful. also, they maintain the place really neat and clean. Oh btw! food in the restaurant is nice! super dami ng serving!! really worth the money! will come back again!

The small access road leading to the hotel was a bit unsettling, but once you got to the hotel entrance you know you have arrived at a 5 star hotel. The hotel parking is a short distance from the lobby entrance. All the staff were very well mannered and efficient. Everyone spoke English and always had a smile on their faces. Please note there is a ₱2,000.00 security deposit which is refundable after you checkout. There are two complimentary bottles of water in the room. Upon request for more bottled water there will be charges. There is a Robinson Supermarket about 500 meters from the hotel, once you are at Aguinaldo Highway, make a right and the supermarket is on your left. I recommend room 205, it is smack in the middle of the hotel and the view is stunning!!! The breakfast buffet had a very wide selection and very good quality. My one beef was the brewed coffee...it wasn't to my liking to bitter. Breakfast starts at 7am.

The place is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. Food is also delicious and has a big serving. We got a buffet pass and there are a lot of food to choose from. The pool is also big and overlooks Batangas City and Taal Volcano. The rooms are very clean as well as the bathroom. Very generous with the toiletries.

Escala is a really great place to stay at in Tagaytay area. Close to a supermarket and multiple restaurants, but do check out their al fresco restaurant and you might catch a live band playing at night. :) The rooms are very spacious and clean. Toiletries and clean towels are provided inside. Vedere Spa is also open and the masseuse are very kind as well as all the staff we've talked to. Will definitely go back. :) P.S.: just wish that the pool is heated lol

It is very close to Sky Ranch. You can easily miss it since there was a contruction in front of the building. Buffet breakfast was good. Had rashes after dipping in the pool, but subsided when I showered at the end pf the swim. Please come and see it for yourself.

Made the right choice for my family’s spur of the moment trip. Check in experience was good. Buffet breakfast is value for money. Staff, particularly Laham, are courteous. Best thing is that their freshly baked breads are the best I’ve ever tasted. Most especially, they have the best view in my opinion.

Excellence in time of Pandemic”
We visited Escala to celebrate a special occasion and Escala made it extra special with its excellent amenities and service. We book an executive room which is located at the top floor of the hotel with a huge veranda boasting the view of Taal lake and volcano. The room is huge with one king and one queen bed. We enjoyed the bathtub while we are watching. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was good, atleast the breakfast since that’s the only meal we had during our stay. All in all everything is amazing and inspite of the Pandemic Escala made sure that all their guest will have a memorable stay. Kudos to all the great and kind staff of the hotel.

I cannot help but compare the staff of Escala to the ones here in Manila. They are very approachable and accommodating from the reception up to their security personnel. We were not very familiar with the place and they guided us everytime we go somewhere in Tagaytay. The view is stunning! The pool is amazing, i love that it is flat and does not go deeper so I am not afraid to dip in. The rooms are clean and disinfected. I would very much love to go back soon!
