I booked Quen Anex room type. From my room I can see the airport terminal in the opposite side. The room is quite old however it is clean. The bed is so comfortable.

Nice and Cozy Airport Hotel”
The Hotel is perfect if you have night stopover in Pudong Shangaii Airport. The Hotel is walkable distance to the Terminal and very close to Metro / Maglev station. We had 24 Hours stopover in Shangai and we spent a cozy night (Hotel rooms are quiet - no airplan noise) and a fast city-seighteen day in Shangai, the Hotel has been a perfect solution.

Perfect location for late arrival and connecting on a morning flight the next day. Very important is to find out in advance if your booking is at the South or North wing. I waited for 15mins before finding out I am at the wrong hotel lobby.

we booked for this hotel for the transit and i booked for big room deluxe room i paid extra money to get this room but unfortunately when we arrived there they told me they don't have like this kind of room in this hotel and after that they said this room expenses and they cant give this deluxe room to us but we already paid extra to get this view and this room at the end they told me we don't they cant offer me the room which i booked i have to except this room.

Perfect location hotel with strange vibe”
This hotel is perfect for a layover. We stayed in the city for 2 nights and since or flight was leaving at 6a.m. we decided to move to this hotel for the last night. Just so it is easier to reach the airport and sleep longer. Well, we stayed in the south tower where the rooms are renovared. New furniture and very clean. The only thing that botherd me was the window. It didn't close all the way so there was a little gap. Which it wouldn't be a problem normaly, but not at the airport. Because of it you could hear the noise all the time. Also there was really bad wind and the room was cold and windy inside because of it. So I wen't to the reception to ask if they have a different room because this isn't o.k., but they didn't understand. But I think they really didn't want to understand. So I gave up and pushed a towell in to the gap. Otherwise the hotel is very nice and all the rest of the things were ok. Also be prepared to pay 50€ deposit on arrival.

Let Down ”
Very good location between Terminal 1 and 2. Paid for 3 deluxe room but disappointed by the layout. The toilet for 1 of the rooms didn't even have a door. Signs were confusing, you check in at 1 tower but have to go to the other tower to collect your key if you are not within the same check in tower. Have a 5 year old with us and they insisted that he has to pay for breakfast. The lower levels just smell bad from the kitchen and people smoking. Really stay there only if you arrive in PVG for a very early flight the next day. Else just stay elsewhere and take a cab to the airport.

Fantastic Overnight Stay”
I booked a twin room for my teenage 2 children who were travelling from Japan to New Zealand via Seoul and Shanghai. They said the staff were friendly and very helpful and spoke some English. The room was clean and tidy - they had a great sleep. The buffet breakfast was lovely and although it was predominantly meat-based, there were enough vegetarian options for them to be satisfied - including vegetarian steamed buns! The hotel itself was very nice, lovely decor and the location was fantastic, so easy to find, right at the airport - you can't get any closer than that! The wi-fii was easily accessible - use Bing instead of Google (its blocked in China) and you'll have no problems with access. The staff offered to hold their baggage while they did a day trip into Shanghai and gave them a ticket to produce when collecting their bags later. In summary the children said it was a great stay and would definitely recommend it. All of the staff were so helpful. Thank you so much Da Zhong Pudong Airport Hotel for taking such good care of my children!

Airport Hotel at the Pudong Airpor: Great Value ”
The Da Zhong Pudong Airport Hotel Shanghai gets my vote as a great value and ultimate convenience for an iconic city airport hotel. Both the North and South buildings are only steps from the departure and arrival gates, Metro Line2, MagLev train, and shops, restaurants, ATMs, etc, this hotel is perfect for some R and R on your evening of arrival, or your evening prior to departure, or a business meeting. Offers a cool and spacious lobby design, with an impressive buffet / a la carte Chinese restaurant on Floor 1, and a secluded bar on Floor 8. If you do not like either, head across to the airport, and you will have access to additional choices. Decore in rooms is far from contemporary, but quite clan and adequate. The staff was very courteous and helpful. This will be my go to hotel every time, on the day before my flight.
