This hotel is brand new with huge rooms for Taiwan standards with a low price. The beds are big enough to fit 3 people. They also have a coin operated laundry room with free detergent. Great customer service. They suggested attractions and helped me book a private tour with a taxi. Nice selection of food for their breakfast. The only con is they have a balcony, but you can't go out. Definitely would return.

This being my 9th trip to Taiwan, I have stayed at a number of hotels from 5 star to 3 star. I would rank this as one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Taipei. I had orgininally booked for 3 days but ended up staying a total of 6 days. The location in excellent with the Ximen MRT station exit 5 just outside the hotel. The rooms are very modern and the bed is very comfortable. This is a new hotel and there are still some renovaitons in the lower level but nothing to be a hinderence at all to your stay. I have only some very small comments to make but once again nothing to be overly concerned by. The lip on the shower floor is quite low so the water does not drain away as quick so need to be careful of the water flowing over to the floor. While ther rooms are very spacious there is no where to put your luggage except on the floor maybe the room could have a stand that you can put your luggage on. The breakfast is delivered to your room from an external supplier. Not really to my liking as it was cold. I would have preffered maybe some pastries than the american style that was delivered.. My final comment and this is not a critisicm of this hotel but of most in taiwan. I would like to see an iron and ironing board in the rooms. Overall I must say I was very impressed with this hotel and the staff. I will definately be booking this hotel again on my next trip.

It was the perfect start to a girls weekend with my best friend. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was beautiful even though we got the most basic one, and the cold/hot springs were the best I have ever experienced in a private setting. They pipe the waters directly to your room and your skin feels so wonderful after a nice soak in both tubs. The bathroom gives you an excellent view of your surroundings but also privacy to enjoy yourself. There is also a beautiful infinity pool and outdoor hot spring tub for you to enjoy on a fine day. Nice little special touch was the front desk advising you ( and printing out on your key card envelope) the time of sunrise the next day as they have an excellent reading room where you can view it with a cup of coffee in your hand. Breakfast was one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had at a hotel! I would strongly recommend this place to anyone travelling in the Yilan area.

I fly taiwan few times every year and i came across this hotel becayse of the name of the hotel. So i gave it a ty and surprisingly it is PERFECT for food, PERFECT for shoppings, PERFECT for all public transports and mrt lrt train whatver u call it, and the hotel is super clean and staffs were fluent in english and friendly to all guests and the best thing on top of all these is that this hotel's design is SO AWESOME I AM IMPRESSED like SERIOUSLY IMPRESSED. Will stay here again in three weeks to come and also my following trip after that. Love it to bits

Everything in the room including the TV can be controlled with the Ipad, and the breakfast although limited and repeated over 6 mornings, its quite nice. The staff at level 1 are really kind and helped me with my luggage problem. My luggage was damaged and the airlines had to deliver over to my hotel, they require a taiwan phone number etc. The staff was kind enough to ask me for the details, receipt of damage so that they can help me receive my luggage while I toured taipei. They even lend me a phone to call the company and did not charge me for it. In the end, I got my lugagge and when I check out the staff even comment "ohhhh, you got your luggage" with a kind tone:) Im pretty sure they are short staffed but they are really hardworking and try their very best to make sure your stay here is great! The Housekeeping is damn irritating. At 9.50am they try to open your door and then knock on your door and insist that you open your door, give a demand tone "Do you want Housekeeping?"

This was one of the best hotel I have stayed in Taipei so far. I am really impressed by the service that they provide to their customers. A wonderful encounter for both my boyfriend and I was that we were scheduled for an early morning flight the next day back to Singapore. During our booking for a cab that would send us there, JustSLEEP front desk asked if we would need breakfast prepared. We were taken aback as never has a hotel offered such a service before. At first we thought they would only prepare a bun or something for us but no, the bag was filled with croissants, buns, juice and fruits. We were totally impressed with their service and thoughtfulness for their customers. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends who are heading to Taiwan for their holidays. 5 stars for service!

This is a super cozy, super nice hotel and great services provided. Credits to all the staff on my 2-days stay in this hotel! Room is big, MRT station just outside, and super huge bath tub, as normally the bath tub in all the hotel I stayed in Taiwan do not have this size of bath tub in their hotel, and I am 178cm tall. Good! Thankful they provide us baby cot for my 1 year old baby. They even invited us to go up to their conference room for a nice cup of coffee and some nice biscuits. Will go and stay again at Park Taipei Hotel. My best hotel in my while trip of Taipei!

We arrived with the intention of spending one night doing a tour of the local attractions on arrival then checking into the hotel and leaving the next day. However due to the bad weather we had to extend the visit to two nights. They upgraded us to a suite as there was no availability for the extra night in a double. The staff were faboulous and the place was so clean. Been on a private tour of Taiwan and speaking English has been an issue but not here...!!! Best hotel we have stayed in Taiwan and not the most expensive. Its a pleasant walk to the night market which is also great. My wife reckons that's the best breakfast buffet we have had. Its just very very good ..!,

This hotel suitable for family with kids. Pros: - Impressed by the hotel facilities especially the indoor kids pool, indoor playground, etc - welcomed by the friendly staffs. - nice breakfast - super nice, big & clean room, thumb up. Pros: - location abit far from town for those who drive like us, this hotel really a place that u cannot miss. We stayed Taiwan for 7 night but there only one night we stayed here, compared to the rest this is the BEST hotel I guess

Breakfast one of the better ones I tasted in hotels in taiwan. Breakfast Staff was also very efficient and polite . Location was great just 5 min walk to night market. Room was really clean and housekeeping were fast to respond to requests. Complementary Minibar and snacks thrown in. Check in was fast. Overall very good and highly recommended . Though reception staff were polite and smiley. Wish there were a little bit more warmth in their attitudes towards guests. After all Taiwanese are known to be warm and hospital.

The corner suite room I booked is wonderful! The room is comfortable, clean and spacious! The bathroom is of excellent space, with a bathtub. The hotel itself is conveniently located, once you turn left as you step out of the hotel on level 1, you find yourself in the Feng Chia Night Market. If you turn right, you will find McDonalds, Watsons and further down across the road, you will find a big POYA, their department store. The reception counters of this hotel are located on Level 12, with the rooms spread across levels 3 to 11. There is a laundry room on Level 8. I like this hotel, because I feel safe with the brightly-lit corridor. As for the breakfast, spread is considered all right. I realise that the breakfast provided by hotels in Taiwan are not fanciful, but sufficient for you to fill your stomach to start your day exploring!

If you're looking for a private hotel room that has a 4 or 5 star feeling, this is your best value under $100 US (if you want cheap and limited service, then spend $50 or less somewhere else). Staff is friendly and helpful, everyone speaks English, and they convert money at the counter with no extra fees. Perfect location, on the same side at the Taipei Main Station bus terminal. The room was perfect, but just a little small (which is normal for cheaper hotel rooms in this area). Good for 1 or 2 people. I booked the standard no window but got a lucky free upgrade. The room has nice furnishings, was clean, didn't feel old or used up. Everything worked, and there were many small items and details for use (DVD player, shoe polishers, etc.) It felt like a lot of comfort in a small room. If you like breakfast, book it on the website because it's twice as expensive if you buy at the hotel. I would stay here again. Caesar Park is slightly more expensive for the same thing.

Humble House Taipei is a great hotel in the Xinyi area. The Xinyi area where the numerous buildings of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, the Taipei 101 and the World Trade Center are located. Even if it's raining, there are covered walkways from the Taipei 101 to Humble House. The buffet breakfast was expansive, for a Taiwan hotel. We got upgraded to a higher room class on our last stay. I love the toilet in our room. It's like the toilets used in Japan.

The tag-line of this property is "it is not a hotel, it is a home" They are quite right on that count, though I don't think I have ever stayed in a home quite so flash! It feels like an up-market apartment; and when you enter the building, you could easily mistake it for a fancy cocktail bar. There is art-work and photographs adorning the walls, and the atrium on the higher levels allows a glance at the design of the lower levels. This property is strong on comfort and style. It is a welcome change to stay in a hotel in Taiwan where someone has actually paid attention to the design and made sure everything is in the right place. It is hard to fault this hotel. However, you will pay through your teeth to stay here. It is twice the price of other business hotels in Chiayi and all you really get is the room. Location is okay, though I prefer something closer to the train station. There are two departments stores and many restaurants and bars outside. Also the BRT line runs down Chueiyang Road, so you can take it to Chiayi Park, or back to the Transport Center (which connects the train station, HSR station[40 minutes away], and long distance buses). It is also a 10 minute walk to the Carrefour and night market, and about 20 minutes to the Wenhua night market. I would certainly recommend for you to stay here once, if only for the novelty.

I went to Taiwan with my family last year in September. My family booked 4 rooms in total, 2 family rooms and 2 deluxe rooms (with street view). The deluxe room and family room are side by side on each floor. The family room turned out to be bigger than expected. The window is in the toilet, which is very common for most of the Taiwan hotels. Whereas for the deluxe room, it has the full window in the room. The view of the room is not fantastic as it is facing the shopping mall opposite and the room is much smaller compared to the family room. What I really like about the hotel is their service, location and cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and professional. They are very prompt in replying to all your email enquiries. The staff went out the extra miles in helping me to find and rent the baby car seat, even though I did not book their tour services. Of course, I paid a reasonable price for the rental and brought the baby chair along to Cingjing and Hualien. I was very grateful for that as I had a hard time finding the rental of the baby car seat online as most of the websites are in chinese/ too expensive/ too inconvenient for the picking and returning of the car seat. Another memorable incident was that the hotel staff gave my sister and my bro-in-law a handmade card (with polariod photo) and a bottle of wine, after knowing that they were there to take wedding photos. That was really sweet gesture of them.The location is really another benefit of the hotel. It is just 3 mins walk from the train station (exit C if I can remember correctly). The price is really very affordable compared to other hotels around the area. The hotel is new and clean. It has 8 floors in total, which is rare for many boutique hotels in XMD as most of the hotels occupies only 1/2 floors in the building/shopping mall. Highly recommended and do remember to book earlier in order to secure yourself a room there.

Had more the feel of a business hotel but catered well for us leisure travellers. - e.g. free bike hire available. Of all the places that we stayed during our Taiwan trip, the staff here had the best grasp of English. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful though this could get a little overbearing. Very, very large room (though my understanding of suite is separate bedroom?), very clean and lovely spacious bathroom. Buffet breakfast had a very good selection and set us up for the day. Great location with wide range of restaurants within walking distance and the tourist shuttle bus stop, which visits all of the main sites in Tainan right outside. Would stay again.

Holidaying in Taiwan with family of four, our first stop was Kaohsiung. I booked two twin rooms in Hotel Dua. At first I was rather concerned how to get to the hotel from Taoyuan Airport. Surprisingly, it was not difficult at all. We took High Speed Rail (HSR)from Taoyuan Station to Zuoying Station, then Kaohsiung MRT from Zuoying station to Formosa Boulevard Station. It was just like taking MRT in Singapore from Changi Airport to Orchard Road, but longer journey. So simple. It was also very easy to find the hotel which was only a short 5 minutes walk from Formosa Boulevard Station, the most beautiful station in Taiwan.(if your time the walk from the exit of the station, it can be even shorter) Hotel Dua is a modern boutique hotel with a touch of East-Asian design element. The rooms with superb interior finishing, were spacious. The hardware and accessories in the bathroom were of top quality. We were very pampered by the twin beds coupled with a huge over-sized pillow and a standard-sized pillow. It was unbelievably comfortable. No doubt, Hotel Dua will be my first choice if I travel to Kaohsiung again.

I'm really sorry for the late review. Our family visited here last Octouber. But I can't forget a wonderful memory in 'Just sleep', zaoxi. This trip was for celebrating my father's birthday. So, for him, I asked you would prepare some card for celebrating his birthday. And We surprised that there are cake, card and qute animal balloon! T.T I'm really thankful for you to give us an unforgettable memory. All staffs were very kind and Breakfast is excellent. :) I think it's also good for elderly visitors. Most of all... I really satisfied its wonderful hot spring in a room. (I knew that there was a big hot spring in B1, but we didn't go) It's really good experience making our trip perfect! And Thank you very much for driving us to the bus terminal on the last day. Thanks to you , We can enjoy the trip in Taiwan! I can't stop reviewing this wonderful placeT.T... Next time to Taiwan, I really want to visit again.

Stayed in Taiwan for 7nights. Stayed 2 nights in S hotel. Best choice made. Service was impeccable.. The service staffs came running to our transport immediately with 2 umbrellas. 1 of them held the umbrella for us while the other was unloading our luggage. Our luggage was mad heavy from our shopping. Didn't pant nor complain. Service staff were mostly young and good looking dudes who would smile and offer their help with transport or any help in finding directions. The hotel is beautifully decorated and quite techy. Love the service, could tell that the staffs love working there and their job. Well done S hotel management. Please continue to keep your staff happy so we will continue to have this impeccable service. Can't wait for our next visit. Thanks to the concierge service rendered at the exit. You guys were marvelous!!

The facilities is excellent. I've booked a triple room. The rate is cheaper then those in Taipei area, but the facilities is superb. A big living room, bath tub etc. It is so spacious that I think the room can accommodate more people. Location is very good,, few minutes walk from the train station as well as the liuhe night market. There is even a super mart just opposite the hotel which you can buy all Taiwan local delights there. The only down side is the staffs isn't that helpful. They are just doing their own job but didnt offer more such as after I asked for a tourist attraction, they only mentioned it is better to travel by Taxi. When I asked about do I need to do reservation, they replied, I have to check it out myself. I actually expect them to help me find out. In the end, i didnt went to the attraction as I scared that only reservation is allowed. Otherwise, everything else is good, with good breakfast and offer free tea breaks at their cafe.
