Taiwan hotels & accommodations
Amazing service that I got from the hotel staff. First time in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and with language barrier, we were struggling on the first day. After getting assistance from the hotel staff who speak English fluently, my family had great time there.
This hotel is brand new with huge rooms for Taiwan standards with a low price. The beds are big enough to fit 3 people. They also have a coin operated laundry room with free detergent. Great customer service. They suggested attractions and helped me book a private tour with a taxi. Nice selection of food for their breakfast. The only con is they have a balcony, b...
The door at the facilities area (pool/sauna/steam room) shall be able to open/ close automatically since it is an auto door (not sure if it is faulty or they did not turn it on). This is because there are plenty of rooms at that level and the sound of splashing is noisy. Anyway, they do close that area after 10pm but there are people who wish to rest before that time. ...
We stayed at 4 different hotels in Taiwan during a 6 night trip. This was the best hotel we stayed at. I am not sure we would have chosen this one if it was full price, but it was worth the price we got with Agoda.
Very nice hotel. You need a car, taxi or scooter to get there. Ideal if you want to be away from traffic and downtown noise. The afternoon tea is vey pleasant. The only issue was the strong cigarette smell in the room, but unfortunately this is a common thing in hotels in Taiwan and it's not the hotel's fault, but the unconscious customers.
Kindness Hotel Kaohsiung Main Stn is always our 1st choice of hotel in Taiwan. Their staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast and Supper are excellent with wide spread of food. Location is excellent, just opposite the MRT station. We enjoyed our stay again.
Well Service, well location, well facilities, but the room was not clean enough, especially the windows. Also, too many people during weekend, we need to wait more than 10 mins for the life everyday. I recommend to stay during weekday, and make sure they clean the windows, then it would be a prefect hotel in Taiwan.
This being my 9th trip to Taiwan, I have stayed at a number of hotels from 5 star to 3 star. I would rank this as one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Taipei. I had orgininally booked for 3 days but ended up staying a total of 6 days. The location in excellent with the Ximen MRT station exit 5 just outside the hotel. The rooms are very modern and the bed is very...
It was the perfect start to a girls weekend with my best friend. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was beautiful even though we got the most basic one, and the cold/hot springs were the best I have ever experienced in a private setting. They pipe the waters directly to your room and your skin feels so wonderful after a nice soak in both tubs. The bathr...
I fly taiwan few times every year and i came across this hotel becayse of the name of the hotel. So i gave it a ty and surprisingly it is PERFECT for food, PERFECT for shoppings, PERFECT for all public transports and mrt lrt train whatver u call it, and the hotel is super clean and staffs were fluent in english and friendly to all guests and the best thing on top of al...
It's really nice place with beautiful view. The people here are nice and fast response. I had request three times and they came to my room within 5 minutes. There are few nice restaurant in this hotel (roast duck). It's one of the best roast duck in Taiwan. The room is big and clean with nice sunshine. There is also shopping mall in the same building.
Definitely a must-stay when you are in Alishan. The lodge is in the middle of the nature reserve with well-maintained boardwalk, suitable even for elderly. The hotel comes with half board (breakfast and dinner). Just nice for the family to have bonding time over the table of nice food. Both buffet style meals are the best spread I have in taiwan.
Everything in the room including the TV can be controlled with the Ipad, and the breakfast although limited and repeated over 6 mornings, its quite nice. The staff at level 1 are really kind and helped me with my luggage problem. My luggage was damaged and the airlines had to deliver over to my hotel, they require a taiwan phone number etc. The staff was kind enough t...
This is the first hot spring hotel I stayed in Yilan and it was one of the best I stayed from my trips in recent years. Everything is perfect is except the hotel is a bit too dark (maybe that is concept of this hotel) but sometimes it gives me a creep😅 Cleanliness: the room is extremely clean and organized when we first arrived. We stayed for two nights and every day...
This was our family's first trip to Taiwan and we were recommended this hotel by a friend who had just visited. Booked a slightly bigger room as we had two children in tow. Was expecting the hotel to insist that we added another bed but was pleasantly surprised that they didn't as our older child is only 8 years old and could use the sofa as her bed. The room was metic...
This hotel is located at a corner of the crowded shopping paradise - Ximending. I had stayed here many years ago and in this revisit, it has been renovated. This room is clean and tidy. The room size is comfortably big as compared to many other hotels. Free bottled water, canned drinks and simple snacks are provided in the room when I checked in. Airconditioning is adj...
This was one of the best hotel I have stayed in Taipei so far. I am really impressed by the service that they provide to their customers. A wonderful encounter for both my boyfriend and I was that we were scheduled for an early morning flight the next day back to Singapore. During our booking for a cab that would send us there, JustSLEEP front desk asked if we would ne...
My wife and I loved the Chateau Beach Resort! Beach access and pool were great. It was great to step out onto the beach and relax, plus have an easy walk to the Kenting night market scene. Rooms were a great value, especially booking through Agoda. Breakfast was included, and had a wide variety of Taiwan and western choices. Stayed before, stayed now & will stay a...
I learnt Palais de Chine Hotel through Agoda.com. I saw the location and the reviewed were all very good. I booked and stay in Palais de Chine Hotel. I was so impressed with the interior design, the classic and modern contemporary style which qualified to name it under 5 stars hotel or above. I will definately stay in this hotel again for sure for my next business...
The staff at the Hyatt were perhaps the best we encountered during our three week tour of China and Taiwan. They went out of their way to help. The hotel was comfortable and had everything that we needed. I would go back to this hotel if I was ever in Taipei
It's defiantly the best resort/hotel for families to stay in Hualien! I booked a Loft room at this hotel while we can see lagoon from the balcony and smell the spring's coming. This resort is in a good location where is not far from most attractions by driving... It's recommended to have massage after the day out in a responsible price!
This is a super cozy, super nice hotel and great services provided. Credits to all the staff on my 2-days stay in this hotel! Room is big, MRT station just outside, and super huge bath tub, as normally the bath tub in all the hotel I stayed in Taiwan do not have this size of bath tub in their hotel, and I am 178cm tall. Good! Thankful they provide us baby cot for my ...
We arrived with the intention of spending one night doing a tour of the local attractions on arrival then checking into the hotel and leaving the next day. However due to the bad weather we had to extend the visit to two nights. They upgraded us to a suite as there was no availability for the extra night in a double. The staff were faboulous and the place was so clean...
the hotel is located at the best location in Riyue tan with breath taking view. The hotel is decorated with good taste and staff is friendly. One area that needs improvement is the swimming pool area in 12F, we visited the pool on Apr 16, we found the dead frog and leafs floating in the hot pool, we mentioned to the staff, he ignored us and continued to play his cell p...
OMG! It was more than perfect! I am always picky when I chose accommodation provider for my baby. This time I travelled alone with my 22 month toddler, we stayed for 3 nights, I was only expecting somewhere simple and relaxing, as an ending of our Taiwan trip. But the resort gave us such an amazing arrangement much more than expectation. Actually I started to consu...
My family and I were visiting from the US. I chose this particular Naruwan hotel for it's amenities that accommodate families with small children. As for location, you are just a 5 minute drive from the Taitung airport or Railway station. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle to the airport and railway station if you arrange ahead of time. The game room is excelle...
Expensive but it is good Hotel in Taiwan, Relax, breadfast with good varieties, Room with good size and modern deco. But beach not good & samll, and pool is normal! But with good playing centre
Cheap places to stay in Taiwan
This hostel is located near Tunghai Night market, which means food can be reached easily. Public transports is also easily accessible. Convenient stores are also located nearby. Only the washroom is a little too small.
The staff is wonderful. He is really friendly and approachable, always available to answer our questions and provide tips for our stay. He even planned a whole itinerary for us, making sure we always have activities on our list. There's also a water dispenser and loads of snacks at the reception area, all free to use! Also, the room is clean, the bathroom is spacious,...
The staff of the hotel were available on demand to answer questions, contact locals for bookings, and offered transportation to and from our triathlon event at the local beach. The room was large enough for 4 adults with a balcony, a small tea table and chairs, and a large bathroom. Hengchun's main road is a 2 minute walk. This hotel is an excellent choice for solo ...
The hostel is well managed and quality is provided whenever it can be applied. For example, hand washing liquid throughout the hostel are branded anti-bacteria type versus wholesaled ones normally found in hostel at this price, this is quality. Another example is the lockers, absolutely huge and definitely the largest that I've seen in any hostel, you can comfortable...
Staffs were helpful and kind..Will surely stay here again when i come back to Taiwan..Really close to MRT stations and Ximending is just 15mins slow walk..maybe if you're a fast walker it's just 8-10mins walk..Also, take note that they are turning off the aircon at 11am maybe because it's their cleaning time also..Overall, we had a great stay..👍👌👍👌
The best room I ever stay at hualien. The room are clean and owner provided facilities as much as possible such as free bicycle, laundry services, etc. The staff are helpful and location are convenient. The service are provided as promised.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, it's one of cheapest hostel I got in three months in taiwan. 100 metres from the beach and neighbor to the best restaurant in Nanwan
I staied here for 4 nights and it's really close to the train station but not to the center. The owner is really nice but the have just one bathroom so it's pretty uncomfortable, always waiting to use it.
The place take some time to find but its situated inside a building located at 8th floor. Dongmen station exit 6 (Staircase) or 7(elevator), walk around 5 minutes search for the place in a building will do. Public transport just a road across from the building while mrt is right of the building. For this trip, I've booked a quad room with shared bathroom (double bed bu...
Travelled around Taiwan for three weeks and LivePal is undoubtedly the best value for money hostel. Good location - MRT/TRA, Wufenpu clothes market, Raohe night market and eateries. Shampoo, bodywash and handsoap is provided in bathing areas. Free hot/cold water, tea/coffee available in A/C kitchen/common area. Rooms are of mixed variety - bunks, capsules, not all ro...
5-10 minutes walking distance from hualien train station. well decorated, clean room. easy self-check in system. and warmth greeting by host through messages beforehead. family happy with the stay.
Location is really fantastic, just 1 min walk to fengjia night market. You couldn't even hear any noises of fengjia from your room. Room is generally clean, only cons is the wall partition is too thin, so it did affect me slightly (I'm a super light sleeper). But well - can't blame them as most of the accommodation/ hotels in taiwan is the same. Oh yes, there's no lift...
I traveled taiwan 7.11-7.14 I stayed oxygen hostel, there is very nice place. It has clean room and shower booth and bathroom. Best place is 5th floor that we can talk about travel or eat something. 1th floor bar is good place to take a beer and talk with friends. All staff is very kind to us. They helped us find our destination. Oxygen hostel is the best place that I...
Pros: - near the mrt ximen - affordable - accommodating staffs (they are so nice) they can speak english - the lounge )where you can eat with free coffee, tea and water - it has also laundry area/ service Cons: - no elevator (it’s okay if you are really just a backpacker but if you have a big luggage, struggle is real) but staffs are offerring a help. - there is an ad...
Had a fairly decent stay here, the staff were big on cleanliness and did their best to help. For some English wasn't a strength but they were still very kind. Good place to meet other travellers particularly from Asia. Only had a couple of minor complaints: because I had booked each of my nights separately one of the staff accidentally cleared the stuff from my bed whe...
I never expected a little bit of luxury experience with Angels Hostel Taipei Ximen! I was super happy I booked and stayed with them. Though it was a shared bedroom with other travelers, I felt my belongings are very secured with their individual card type access! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends if they are looking for the best and affordable accomm...
We are family of 7. We stayed here comfortably. The family mart, 7-11, ningxa night market and starbucks are near the hotel. But the MRT’s were a bit far but its okay we enjoyed walking going there. Also, the mrt station near the hotel is ONE RIDE only going to taoyuan airport. It’s a plus point. No need to transfer line. What I loved the most in this hotel is the UNLI...
The place is walking distance to Zhongshan Station MRT. You can also walk Taipei main station for the airport train express. The hostel offers included breakfast of ham and egg sandwich with seasonal fruits and a hot orccold drink. The reception is also cozy where you can dine or chat with friends, watch tv while surfing the web. As per the toilet and shower, it’s shar...
I had a double room and paid the price that I usually pay for a dorm in Taiwan. I was pleasantly surprised. The room is spacious and clean. There are freebies like tea, coffee, toiletries and even condoms! There is a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes for a good price. They give you laundry powder, usually I always have to pay. They lend bicycles fo...
The view of villa is quite good, and all the stuff in the house is tidy and clean as well.So much fun for u to stay and enjoy here.Highly recommand for family trip.
Great location, and cheap. Probably the cheapest that you can find in the neighbourhood. Tips from my experience are that if you're booking a double room when you book it request for the room in 3rd floor. Better room, and will totally change your experience of staying. Trust me. There is a catch though, it is a no-staff hotel (but the staff on the phone are very he...
Thank you, Paul and Madeline, who made my stay special! They took care of me each minute and helped me organizing my daytrips as well as my further travel plan. Got a really good impression of Taiwanese life and food thanks to them! The hostel is good located between train station and city center. It is a nice common area and very clean. Unfortunately there were not ma...
The place was a bit old but it was really clean!! The bed was so comfy and the air-conditioner works perfectly fine (cool and nice in the room) The staffs were so friendly and let me to stored my luggage before the check-in time :) And the location was so closed to Kaohsiung train station which gives this good place another extra points :) 7-11 is located beside th...
The hostel itself is fantastic, close to the night market, really nice owner, clean as can be, just unfortunate dorm mates weren't as friendly, maybe not the best hostel for socializing, but everything else, especially for Solo travelers, is on point.
Me and my partner loved Taiwan. We had a really nice stay here at this Hostel. Place was clean and quite. Well maintained with friendly and accomodating staff. Located in between two train stations which you can walk for 5 mins. Location wise its in the middle of the city but is situated in a very quite area. I recommend the place for tourist who are looking into stayi...
This is the first time I have been so much satisfied like this. We are a group of 3 boys and 3 girls. At fist, because there were only 3 beds in mixed room, and 3 beds in girl room on the Agoda booking system, so we had to be separated. However, I decided to call the NEOSOHO Cabin and asked if they could arrange us to stay together in 1 room. And yeah! My requirement w...
Thus hotel is standard Taiwan local hotel. You may be embarassed when you come into the room because it's a little bit different from the picture on agoda. But cleaness was excellent. The typical ventilation problem happening in these hotel didn't exist. No stincky in toliet. Though the staffs English is not good, but they could understand if you say slow and correctly...
Staying on your own or with friends, it's a good choice. Room is quite tiny , if fully booked. People are nice, but for non- Chinese speaker it can get a bit tricky. Here you stay in the house with the family, including a young child and a baby. Kitchen can be used as well as the washing machine. Very close to the bus and train station, very far from the city.
the hotel was big and clear. and the sense of comfort and relax given by the hotel really added a huge portions of marks for this hotel. the staffs was nice and helpful. the most importantly the location was awesome! I love this hotel do bcuz the bed was really big and comfort so we did enjoyed a good rest in here. highly recommend this hotel !!! I'll book this hotel ...
There is a walk from the Main Station but it's still a great location. Shampoo/Soap/hairdryer is provided. I liked how the beds had curtains. They give you fresh sheets (flat sheet to wrap the mattress, duvet cover, pillow case) on your first night and you make your own bed and on the day you check out you pull off the sheets and throw them in a bin for them to launder...

I've stayed here twice and always enjoyed it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great location in the heart of Ximending and close to the MRT. A quality international buffet breakfast in hard to find at hotels in Taiwan, but Amba's breakfast is always fantastic. It has a lot of choice and really cool dining area. I would recommend this place to everyone.
We had a no-window room and it was spacious. The room was clean and fairly new. The commute to metro station is very convenient. And there are many places to eat around the area as well. I’d come back and next time I’d get a windowed room
This hotel suitable for family with kids. Pros: - Impressed by the hotel facilities especially the indoor kids pool, indoor playground, etc - welcomed by the friendly staffs. - nice breakfast - super nice, big & clean room, thumb up. Pros: - location abit far from town for those who drive like us, this hotel really a place that u cannot miss. We stayed Taiwan for...
Breakfast one of the better ones I tasted in hotels in taiwan. Breakfast Staff was also very efficient and polite . Location was great just 5 min walk to night market. Room was really clean and housekeeping were fast to respond to requests. Complementary Minibar and snacks thrown in. Check in was fast. Overall very good and highly recommended . Though reception staff ...
It was our first trip to Taiwan and I wanted a hotel that is close to almost everything in Taiwan so I booked my family a week here. The staff are friendly and the breakfast at the kitchen is good. The room is huge and the cleanliness is top notch. Would recommend this 4 star hotel anytime.
The corner suite room I booked is wonderful! The room is comfortable, clean and spacious! The bathroom is of excellent space, with a bathtub. The hotel itself is conveniently located, once you turn left as you step out of the hotel on level 1, you find yourself in the Feng Chia Night Market. If you turn right, you will find McDonalds, Watsons and further down acr...
If you're looking for a private hotel room that has a 4 or 5 star feeling, this is your best value under $100 US (if you want cheap and limited service, then spend $50 or less somewhere else). Staff is friendly and helpful, everyone speaks English, and they convert money at the counter with no extra fees. Perfect location, on the same side at the Taipei Main Station bu...
Receptionist was very nice and polite. Concierge service was great! Room is spacious and hotel facilities one of the best in Taiwan. Breakfast was good and full of tasty food. Sufficient parking lot. This is one the hotel that we cannot find any problem during our stay.
Humble House Taipei is a great hotel in the Xinyi area. The Xinyi area where the numerous buildings of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, the Taipei 101 and the World Trade Center are located. Even if it's raining, there are covered walkways from the Taipei 101 to Humble House. The buffet breakfast was expansive, for a Taiwan hotel. We got upgraded to a higher room class on ou...
I had to book a hotel at the very last minute because of a change of travel plan, found this and surprisingly it is one of the best I've stayed in Taiwan. The room is spacious with HUGE bed, that bed was meant for two of us but I believe it will fit 5 people! Bathroom is nice and clean. Overall a good experience with nice room rates.
The tag-line of this property is "it is not a hotel, it is a home" They are quite right on that count, though I don't think I have ever stayed in a home quite so flash! It feels like an up-market apartment; and when you enter the building, you could easily mistake it for a fancy cocktail bar. There is art-work and photographs adorning the walls, and the atrium on the ...
I went to Taiwan with my family last year in September. My family booked 4 rooms in total, 2 family rooms and 2 deluxe rooms (with street view). The deluxe room and family room are side by side on each floor. The family room turned out to be bigger than expected. The window is in the toilet, which is very common for most of the Taiwan hotels. Whereas for the deluxe roo...
Had more the feel of a business hotel but catered well for us leisure travellers. - e.g. free bike hire available. Of all the places that we stayed during our Taiwan trip, the staff here had the best grasp of English. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful though this could get a little overbearing. Very, very large room (though my understanding of suite is ...
Holidaying in Taiwan with family of four, our first stop was Kaohsiung. I booked two twin rooms in Hotel Dua. At first I was rather concerned how to get to the hotel from Taoyuan Airport. Surprisingly, it was not difficult at all. We took High Speed Rail (HSR)from Taoyuan Station to Zuoying Station, then Kaohsiung MRT from Zuoying station to Formosa Boulevard Sta...
I'm really sorry for the late review. Our family visited here last Octouber. But I can't forget a wonderful memory in 'Just sleep', zaoxi. This trip was for celebrating my father's birthday. What a nice hotel in Taiwan I had ever stayed ! Nice place , near MRT , nice staff , you can find some Taiwan food around the hotel but pls note food shop / restaurant are old and almost of staff/ owner are eldest , so they can't speak English , you can ask for menu and show them all . I will book this hotel if I travel back Taiwan .
Stayed in Taiwan for 7nights. Stayed 2 nights in S hotel. Best choice made. Service was impeccable.. The facilities is excellent. I've booked a triple room. The rate is cheaper then those in Taipei area, but the facilities is superb. We stayed with 3 other families and this is the best and fun experience we had in JiaoXi, we stayed at other five stars hotel before but Mu has everything and the most important is that it is such a kid friendly hotel that also uncles the best art gallery for adults to enjoy! Foods are good too!
Good as always. One of the best business hotels in town. Best breakfast buffet in Taiwan. Rooms are comfortable, checking in is fast. Always a pleasure to stay here. You get the quality you expect and pay for.
It was my first hot spring experience in Taiwan. After I stayed several hot spring hotels in Japan, I didn't expect too much in Taiwan. I was wrong. Evergreen Resort hotel in Taiwan was far better than I expected. Hot spring in my room with the view, good red with snack, my husband and I had a very relaxed weekend. I will come back again.
very good hotel. great service. Great location. I personally think it was in a better location than the W and meridien and it's also cheaper ! food is great. The japanese and chinese restaurants have michelin signs , and there were quite good (although no cheap). many places around to shop and eat. You won't be disappoint. This is taiwan hotel mixed with japanese ser...
You need to stay In LIN hotel when you plan to Taiwan ! It’s best .
This is my five time in Taiwan but my first time at a five-star taiwan hotel. When I arrived at the hotel lobby, the first thing that came to my mind is: the worth is greater than the price. Location It's just a bit out of the Ximending region, in this way I can enjoy tranquility of my stay. Lobby and hotel room The lobby is of subtle luxury. You will always see Ja...
We booked this room to stopover between Hualien and Kenting. The hotel is located along highway 9. We booked two nights. It was low season, so not a lot was happening. The breakfast restaurant wasn't open the first morning, so as service the breakfast was offered with roomservice. The 2nd morning there were a lot of tourists and the buffet was open. The buffet was big ...
Just as good as each time here! Hopefully this hotel-bookstore of good taste & quality can well recognized as a new Taiwan benchmark of this ove-polluted by politics city/country! You can see the real Taiwan-Chinese beauty here! Highly recommended!
Good facilities . Even the weather was not very nice, we had a good time staying here. One of the best hotels in Taiwan.
I stayed in W Hotel for 1 night as I was moving around Taiwan for the past couple of days. This hotel location is perfect as it sits direct above the MRT and Bus station. The staffs are all very friendly and the service level is very good. The rooms are very spacious and very refreshing. The bed is very comfortable and everything about this hotel is just perfect. I can...
The staff at Silks Place were totally amazing, the best. They were polite, friendly and went out of their way to help me when I had a problem with my Taiwan sim card. I want to mentions Milly, Joe, Ryan and Jason in particular who all made me want to return as soon as I can. The hotel is beautifully designed and my room was beautiful. It was a wonderful introduction ...
My friends and I stayed at Howard for two nights on a trip to Kenting. We stayed in the deluxe double (mountain view), which was a large room with who king size beds and a balcony. I was 100% satisfied with the room. The bathroom included a separate shower and tub, and the shower areas was enclosed - this is not the case of many bathrooms in Asia, but is certainly my p...
It was our first time visiting Taiwan and our very first hotel in Taiwan. What a wonderful hotel with excellent staffs and services! The only little disappointment was they were remodeling or it was the off season, the exercise rooms and the pool were closed. We want give a special Thank You to Joanne Pan, Reservation Department, a lady that we had never met. We ...
Easily one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in in Taiwan (and possibly worldwide). My family loved the comfort and the perfect view of the Pacific Ocean you can get from your balcony. The hotel is very well-maintained despite being right next to the ocean. The beach is literally at your doorstep and it makes for the perfect getaway from city life. The staff were really...
Everything is good except for the massage service. Should get guest's contact to re-confirm booking. Not all the guest will stay in their room to wait till time for their booking. Besides, should educate those guests about hotel policy and arrangement when having breakfast at the hotel. When there is a "Reserved" placed on the table, it means being occupied even tho...
Being a resort hotel, it has many activities in addition to a great rooftop pool, hot tubs and a tennis court. I saw there were activities for kids and a spa for the adults. In the evening there was an aboriginal performance and a movie. My room was a good size with a nice view of the river. Like most Taiwan hotels there are different room sizes. When you book just spe...
