Belgium hotels & accommodations
My wife and I traveled to Brussels for the weekend and booked this hotel several weeks in advance. At the last minute we had to reschedule due to some work issues and the hotel allowed us to do so with no penalty even though it was outside of the rebooking window. This was the first bit of great service. The breakfast was spectacular, the location was great, and ove...
I was in Brussels for the second time and found the best hotel for my travel. The staff is so nice. They are happy to go out of their way to help you in everything. Their breakfast is just excellent. The location is very convenient. I am so happy to be there.
Pros: Location, eateries, transport, hotel is easily visible from the street, staff were friendly. The breakfast was first class, very healthy and many varieties, highly recommended. Room was simple but spacious and bonus is, it has 3 beds so family with 2 young children can book just one room and save. Cons: No kettle in the room for hot drink, so not very practical,...
This is the very best aparthotel, its just within the tourist attraction area, Grand palace just walking by 3-5 minutes , next to the metro station , and surrounding is shopping area . I will definitely consider to stay in this hotel again in my next visit to brussels.
Loved everything about this hotel except for the staff great location, spacious rooms, our double room on the 1st floor has a huge balcony which i loved loved the bathroom, great everything now for the staff, the cleaning lady rushed us out so she could finish her job, also she never gave us complimentary waters after the first day we checked in (we were there for 5...
Everything about this place was great. Perfect location - I was able to walk everywhere from the hotel within 10 minutes, including Central Station. The staff was fantastic. I arrived earlier than the standard 3p check-in so I wasn't surprised when the front desk told me that the room wasn't ready. I took about 20 minutes to change in the lobby bathroom before head...
One of the best business hotels in Brussels, with modern rooms and good bathrooms. Rooms are in shades of white and quite stylish. Most have good views over the city (it's taller than most buildings and is in an elevated area of the city). Breakfast is great and staff is friendly. Checkout took too long though.
Easy to locate - long Avenue Fonsny, barely 5 min walk away from the Bruxelles-Midi station. It is also only one station away the Grand Place. Trains to other cities/towns (Ghent, Brugges) easily available at Bruxelles-Midi. Also easy to obtain a SIM card for your phone there. Hotel is clean, modern, with a great view - if you like seeing trains trundle by, which I do...
Overral is good. The most affordable 4 star hotel throughout my stay in Europe. What I like best is its location. It's just precisely in front of Brussel Central, one of the big train station in Brussels besides Brussels midi. I hhink one thing needs to be improved is the furniture because even though the hotel has done some renovation, I can see that some of the furni...
Close to attractions and downtown. The staffs are courteous and shall visit Belgium again :)
hotel is located in very good place , many taxis are just standing near the gate at all the time, mall is just closed to the hotel, as well as metro station, parking is also available in case you need to use it for your car but it's not free. Just I had one concern which I wish hotel management take it seriously and train his staff. By mistake booked two night stany f...
Location is best. Near Central station. Hundreds of restaurants around. Very friendly staff considering it is in Belgium... Only drawback is I think they over charged me city tax. It was supposed to be all inclusive. I stayed there two times within two weeks. First week they didn't charge me tax.
Lidia was lovely and fast to check in us as 3 rooms next together, the hotel near to train station and one minute to Carrefour! Everything u need is around, really enjoy the staying, room was clean and organized the cleaning lady was kind .
The hotel is in a great location, metro literally at your doorstep. Cafes and shopping in walking distance. Concierge great, helpful with information about area and Brussels in general. Nice breakfast daily.
My stay at the Raddison Blu Royal in downtown Brussels was extremely satisfying. It's location to Grand Place and the finest cafes, food, and drink in Northern Europe were possibly the best I've ever experienced! the hotel lobby definitely among the nicest I've ever see and indood glass lifts were impressive to say the least! I as well as my travelling friend would retur...
Center location 5-20 minutes walking distance to almost everything that you need to see in brussell. (manneken pis, grote markt, sint michiel kathedraal) downside it very noisy until late in the morning hour (2-3 pm) due to nearby pub and restaurant establishments underneath the apartments (maybe depends on which apartment you got). Apartement its self quite clean and...
If one is going to the bustling metropolis that is Brussels then look no further than booking a stay at the stylishly modern NH City hotel. An oasis of calm in the hurly burly of the political scene and heart of the Belgium capital, the hotel offers good accomodation at reputable rates and courteous service often found at more luxurious hotel chains. It is a fabulou...
Fantastic hotel with close vanicity of Belgium Central train station and the main square. Lots of places to eat. Breakfast at the hotel had a variety of choice ranging from cold meats to hot breakfast all of which were good quality. Staff are very professional and helpful. Would highly recommend.
We booked the hotel thru Agoda at the last minute, since Brussel is not in our original plan. At the beginning, we look for a chain hotel, to get a guaranteed quality of services. But after reviewing some hotels thru the pictures, then we bet ourselves to choose 9Hotel Central, just because of the location. When we entered into the lobby, then we felt so surprised wit...
This is one of the best hotels during this trip. Great warmly service, and they take care our concerns a lot. The breakfast is gorgeous and super cool. I love everything there, and for sure i will choose it once again if I visit Brussels. Location is great, easy for shopping.
An excellent hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms and service excellent. Close to Leopold Park and the European Parliament. Looks onto a square where there are a number of restaurants and bars and the very busy Maison Antoine, very popular for frites!
Exceptional value and hotel. Highly recommend. Ghent is gorgeous in its own right, and well worth the trip. But, 1898 The Post is well worth the price and more. We had a comfortable stay and loved the hotel bar especially. Perhaps the best cocktails we had in all of Belgium (and Switzerland, too) and a helpful and friendly lead bartender, too. Will return!
It might be the best hotel that I’ve ever been to. The price is very affordable, room is great and the service is excellent!
The hotel is situated in the middle of a very central road so it is very easy to get to many attractions within Antwerp. The hotel staff was friendly and rooms vere clean and good size. I would stay there again as it was the best balue for money in the area. However the room has no sound proof whatsoever and you can hearthe smalleat conversation in the next room! It di...
Had a problem while checking in. Had to pay high charges because the hotel claims they could withdraw money from the card details I gave during booking. That distrusted my budget and plans. Don't do online banking, so going to my bank on Monday to check if any money is withdrawn from either Agoda or Ibis during my initial booking.
Overall, given its price, this is one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at in Brussels (I’ve visited the city several times). The best thing about this hotel is its location. It’s just a few meters aways from the Grote Markt/Grand Place. It’s located on one of those sidestreets with lots of cafes and cheap eats, so it’s easy to grab a quick bite if you’re feeling peckis...
We stayed there with 3 young kids. The rooms are spacious and everyone had their own bed. The hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast even has a section for children. It's located very central and has a carpark under the hotel. 8,50 euro per 24 hours which is very cheap compared to other European cities. The hotel has a nice pool and playground ...
Cheap places to stay in Belgium
The bar is the best part of the hostel along with the staff. Professional and helpful. The ambiance of the hostel bar is great! A cozy, yet large enough place to hang out and meet new people. The hotel rooms themselves are basic, squeaky. They are clean though and the common areas are nice and spacious. I didn't like how bathrooms have no soap in them. No the most sani...
Great. Although good riders could cover the bulk of the mountain bike trails in three days. We were there for four and a half. The self guided tour The castle in English was really interesting
this hostel is one of the cleanest i have ever been to. the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen is spacious. It locates in a very quiet but central place. the staff was very very friendly and helpful!
Air conditioner was broken ,it was too cold to stay.
I enjoyed my stay and found the staff very helpful and welcoming. The food was exceptional - well done to your chef. i would deffinately recommend staying there and may well stay again on my visit to Belgium.
This was my favorite place to stay whole traveling through Europe for two months. Nice staff, close to attractions, easy metro stop nearby, and a great cheap bar downstairs. The only downside was how long it took for check-in and sometimes the wifi was slow, but don't let that dissuade you from booking. This place is great. Close to Delirium bar, good kebab shops, and ...
The Location is the best advantage to this hotel. On the downside: - common bathrooms (but maybe I didn't notice while booking) - there was snow in Brussels - so extremely cold (with radiators not working) - smell both in rooms and in the bathroom So - lack of maintenance and goodwill on part of the employees/owners.
anyway to expensive
I gave the location a 5 because the view is great. It's by the river, with windmill, and in a lovely neighbourhood. I stayed one night in the city center, it gave me enough time to go to all the touristic places, and I decide to go to this hostel, which according to google map, about 8 km from the city center... and it turned out a good choice and I actually extended 2...
Great breakfast! You can store your luggage before check in hours. But during hot weather, the room get very hot. No aircon and ventilator...
Great place at the center of the city. Good clean room
This is pretty much for school group tours, but also for solo travelers. The interior of the hostel is nice; the staff were relatively friendly and accommodating (I mean, I appreciate their effort to go the extra mile, even if they see me as a brown-skinned person). It was good to stay for a night.
The female room was really spacious with individual bathroom. I was going on Monday and there was just me in the room-what a bonus! The breakfast was included, no extra frais needed, and it was not bad. The environment was quiet and safe, about 6mins walking from the nearest metro station. The staff was polite and helpful. Highly recommend to everyone, you can't expec...
Got the smallest rooms with the lowest price. Compared to similar hotels in the neighborhoods this is the best one. Of course expect some inconvenience like some customers occasionally noisy, poor wifi, room unusually hot in winter, and also lack of maintenance in parts of the room and common space. Bedding was correct, individual shower and toilets, fresh towels, TV...
We got the room with the balcony and it was amazing. Although the view was the opera house under construction, it was still good having a view of the street and people passing. To get to the center, you just have to walk a few meters from the hotel so the location was really excellent! We had to wait for 2PM check-in time which was a bit sad because we were there aroun...

Hotel location is excellent, it is close to the railway station.
It is a stone throw away from Midi Station and there will be a market which stretched from the midi station all the way to the hotel every Sunday. Alot of things to see and buy at the market. A responsible check-in staff is kind enough to ask us to change our room as he said the cleaning staff saw some bugs flying around in our existing room (we then saw the previou...
For them who landed in Charleroi near to 22:00. Nice hotel and staff. Stay 1 night before continue your trip to Leuven or somewere else when train change is nessecery.
The bathroom was too small, even smaller than the toilets in the trains in Belgium. My friend summed it up perfectly with this, "It looks like a bathroom from caravan." Location is good and close to major attractions and public transportation.
It will cost you 20 to park 20 for a dog which is not allowed in the bar !!!!!
Tiny but functional room. Very good location near the North Station, Metro and shopping. The sound on the TV did not work, but they offered breakfast as compensation. The door was not tight, so there was a lot of noise from the hallway. The knobs in the shower required good grip-strength, so do not count on making adjustments with wet hands.
Friendly staff, noizy room with smell was immediately changed after request. Good breakfast. Closely to train station.
Great hotel, great location, great staff. The room was big and comfortable and everything was very clean. I was very happy with this hotel and the price was pretty acceptable. I highly recommend it.
I have stayed at Ibis hotels many times and I am always happy with my room, however this was the first time that I have stayed at an Ibis Budget hotel and I was not sure what to expect. I needn't have worried, as we walked in to the reception it was clean and well kept. Our check in was completed very quickly and we soon had our room keys. When I entered my room I w...
The hotel is in a great location, metro literally at your doorstep. Cafes and shopping in walking distance. Concierge great, helpful with information about area and Brussels in general. Nice breakfast daily.
the breakfast could be better. situated not far from the train station of charleroi-sud, from where you can go everywhere on belgium. good quality/price relation.
I stayed in this hotel three times already and it’s simply one of the best hotels ever in airport area. Rate is fair and convenient for me to layover and return to the airport. Staffs there are friendly and the facilities meet my expectations for a budget hotel. I like it and will definitely come back.
Staff at hotel were good and helpful but when contacting ibis to book beforehand we asked about car parking and was told it's free on-site. Get to hotel no parking, have to park good distance from hotel and pay. The phone centre needs more training.
This hotel has the style of a country hotel/motel. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Close to the motorway, it is ideal for people traveling through the area. Nearby Dinent is not to be missed.

Love! I was worried about some of the polarizing reviews, but I absolutely enjoyed my 4 night stay. Hotel and rooms are Instagram worthy. Rooms are spacious and well designed. Bed was a bit too firm for me, but bedding felt luxurious. Towels were on the thin side. Nuxe hand soap and shampoo/body soap are provided, but no conditioner or lotion. BYO. Noise can be a ...
Hotel is really nice and good location as it's close to the European institutions if you are coming for a business trip. I paid my booking with Agoda but the hotel receptionist said I have not yet done the payment. I had to convince with them as I have already paid with my Visa card through Agoda including city tax. Finally, it went well. All in all, the hotel is good,...
The hotel is opposite the Antwerp train station, but surprisingly quiet. Our double room was larger than expected with a good en-suite. Reception was welcoming and helpful, unusual for our experience in Belgium. Great shopping and restaurant/cafe location. Free computer use in lobby though no Wifi. Modernised building, very good value.
Belgium was the last stop of our Europe trip and we're so glad to stay here before returning home. Room is spacious and classy, love the loccitane Toiletries. Conveniently located between the midi station and market square.
Amazing Location Sablon with lots of shops and sightseeing objects.Clean rooms with great design.Kids loved the swimming pool/ jacuzzi with Sauna. And surprisingly the water was nice and warm . Thank you for amazing City Brake .
Spent the past weekend at the Novotel Brussels City Centre, the whole hotel was amazing and without any real issues. (The toaster in the buffet being the only one as the catcher tray was broken). Room was clean, power shower in the bathroom was the best shower I’ve had in a hotel, good pressure. Pool and steam room were again clean and not busy at all meaning you cou...
The hotel i ended up staying was NH City Center which is less than 5mins walk fro NH Stephanie. It was trouble-free for the transfer as NH Stephanie was fully booked when I arrived. The NH Stephanie is an excellent hotel for the price I paid. Room is clean and is close to both tram and train stations. Is also walking distance to the inter-cities train station (20min...
We are traveling with our 7 month old baby. The Staff at the Hilton antwerp were extremely courteous, friendly and accommodating & they went above and beyond to make our stay with our baby as comfortable as possible. Location of the hotel is the best! It is located right in the middle of the Grote Markt- where the hustle and bustle of the city is (also adjacent to th...
The hotel is very close to the Expo metro stop. It is only 5 minute walk from the metro station. The staff was helpful when we checked in. It was quiet during our stay, and the bed was comfortable.
We stopped over in Brussels for the night and booked this hotel. It was lovely throughout and not to far away from Brussels Midi station. All the staff were very helpful and the price was great given the standard of the hotel. My only complaint would be the quality of the breakfast which was rather average. However, this would stop me from visiting this hotel agai...
we were advised to go to brussels on the weekend when many of business hotels drop their rates significantly. on checking, we found this to be the case at the new hotel charlemagne. there was a substantial discount compared to their rack rates. for a couple of euros extra go for the business room. the hotel is located close to the metro station 'schuman' on lines ...
Enjoyed my stay at this hotel next to the Diegem train station and shuttle to the Airport. The only thing I like to mention - breakfast was NOT included in my stay and had an additional cost and tax. I was surprised - since I booked it with breakfast. But other than that little glitch it was a fantastic hotel.
The room is clean and quiet. Everything is of good quality. The hotel is on the pricey side, but we got a family room with 2 double beds and accommodated 4 people for 1 night, didn't have to pay for 2 separate rooms, so it's actually good saving. WiFi is free in the room and we had 3 laptops online. The staff is friendly and helpful, directed us to nice restaurants and...
i stayed here for two nights during a short break to brussels. the hotel has been furnished to a high standard, with the reception, bar and lounge very welcoming. my room was equally well presented with a good sized bathroom and fantastic shower! the bar offered a good range of drinks and light meals, and breakfast in the restaurant was a good buffet with plenty of v...
We spent the last day of a Netherlands / Belgium tour in Brussels, and chose the Gresham Belson Hotel because it was located close to the Brussels Airport. On registering, it seems that Ludo sized my wife and I up as not belonging to the upper class, as we were assigned to room 131, back to back to the elevator noise, as well as the closest to the street noise. The r...

This is a very good 4 star hotel in a Brussels suburb ( taxi 22 euro to town centre ). Beautiful pool and gym . Breakfast , breakfast room and breakfast staff very average ( Novotel style buffet ) Good quality rooms but marble in bathrooms full of stains that don't come off . We would book again for sure .
Good location with free parking. If breakfast was included, it would be perfect. No shower curtain on the bath.
the hotel was more than what i expected, its a 5 star hotel but it has a simple cover. i booked a single room for 2 nights, but the room i stay is bigger than regular single rooms in other hotels. the room is beautiful, cozy, clean, comfortable. there are many channels in french, english,.. to choose on tv. the only thing i dont like about this hotel is they dont have ...
The hotel exceeded my expectation. The hotel is very well maintained, in fact it looked like it was recently refurbished. Flat screen TV in the room with good selection of programs. Internet at reasonable charge in the room and free access in the reception. The room and bathroom is very spacious
I had a great stay at Eurostars Montgomery. Didn't spend much time at hotel as most time in meetings and conference. Great location for venues on that side of city. Very convenient access to public transport. Fast taxi connection to airport. Didn't experience any issues or problems.
This B&B is a stylish upper-class home located at 5 minutes from the Ghent city center. It is not easy to find, because it looks like a normal home from the outside. You get the feeling you live there rather than being a tourist. The room was large and well-equipped and had a medieval touch with knight in armor and some theme paintings. Beds were comfortable, there was...
We were knocked out with this hotel. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows for an amazing sleep. Very stylish room and hotel. The old bar in a stone vaulted ceiling was stunning. Pity it wasn't open. The colour scheme in the rooms was perfect with amazing maroon accents in otherwise moccha colour scheme. The separate shower was perfect in today's modern world. If w...
Couldn't be better; really nice, comfortable suite and super breakfast. Parking is free and well organized. Stay in a historical monument with terraces right in front and feel welcome for as long as you stay.
Beautiful property, great location, wonderful room - which I didn't want to leave, friendly and helpful hosts, with good recommendations for food and walking options. Definitely a must when in Ghent.
I love this place, and I wish I'd had more than one night to stay there. Stephanie and Bernard have beautifully renovated a row of townhouses, so each "room" is actually a separate house with a door that opens to the street. There's a sitting room downstairs with a TV, and a bedroom and bathroom up a narrow staircase. I missed the notice saying I needed to alert them t...
Lord of Gent apartment surprised me in a very pleasant way from the very beginning. The apartment is located in the hearth of Gent so you can easily go for a walk or you can take public transportation from the front of the building. In the neighborhood are a lot of shops and many restaurants where you can taste the wonderful taste of many Belgian courses and of cours...
