This is truly a paradise, with a beautiful environment and excellent service. The wildlife here is also very natural, and the lizards are adorable and harmless. I had a very relaxing three days here, with free snorkeling and boating activities. It was my first time snorkeling and I was very satisfied. You can also hike to the top of the mountain to enjoy the scenery. This is the most comfortable and beautiful place I have stayed in the Philippines in the past few years. The only downside is that the food in the restaurant is really bad, expensive and tasteless. Eating your food feels like going from heaven to hell. I hope you can change the chef and make some authentic Filipino dishes. The current dishes are too terrible. I have been living in the Philippines for five years and this is the first time I have eaten such bad food. It's really awful. Of course, your service is very good and I am satisfied with everything here, except for the food in the restaurant. I will come back next time and hope that your food will improve.

The Island is very beautiful! The fine white sand beach, and the crystal clear waters are breathtaking. The facilities are also very nice and clean. I love the beach beds and the sunset room (we upgraded). The staff was very friendly and hospitable. They gave us welcome drinks, handled our luggage and check-in well. They even have our names on the TVs and greeted me Happy Birthday during dinner with banners and free cakes. They also handout free small snacks and drinks throughout the resort (aside from the free snacks from housekeeping). I love how everyone always greets you when you walk by. There are restrooms with bidet all around the resort. They also offer free hiking as well. The experience was great! We would definitely return. They may need to fix a few things but overall it was worth it. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family. But will not book through Agoda since we had a very bad experience with them with this specific booking. CONS: - My husband and I got sick a week before this trip and we hate the fact that AGODA and the Receptionist of Club Paradise did not have any consideration when we tried to reschedule. We just want to make sure we were feeling better when we take this trip. Good thing we still managed to go, but we still have coughs and are very weak. I hope AGODA and Club Paradise would be considerate of their customers in situations like this! Some other guests might catch our cold. They said it was non refundable, of course we did not want to loose what we paid for! We just wanted to reschedule. We were even willing to provide Medical Certificate. Also, Agoda said they emailed Club Paradise but the receptionist said they never got an email. They were not helpful and we forced ourselves to go. We kept coughing and sneezing the whole trip. This was very BAD customer service on both parties! - The room was so far from the beachfront, and facilities. I wish there was some way we could go around easier. - The breakfast was okay-ish. It wasn’t really that good. - Lunch was okay since we get to choose our meals but dinner was not that great at all. They have this “create your own dish” thing during dinner but the choices were just 4-5 dishes and there was a theme. Like for example on our second day, the dinner was all filipino dishes and just 4 choices only. They did have salad, soup and drinks with it. But the food isn’t good, and we really wanted to select from the original Menu but they were all unavailable. Plus the food was crazy expensive! But not even that good. It’s not worth the price.. that’s for sure. - When I checked in I was asked if I have allergies and I said I was allergic to Shellfish. But on my third night, they served me Crab Soup! Good thing my husband was able to see it beforehand. - The internet is a bit slow, even the data is slow. So if you’re working from home, this might be an issue. - Although, they have a doctor on the resort, but when we try to go there at night, the doctor was already out. I think that their clinic or doctor should be available 24/7 just in case of emergencies. - The resort is very hot and humid, more fans should be available for guests. - We went inside their souvenir shop but it was empty and unmanned. - We wanted to go for a Cruise Tour, but were told that we needed to book one day before… which is understandable but was not explained during check-in. - Lastly, when we checked out I noticed that they incorrectly billed me. We had to correct it a few times before they got it right. Other guests were complaining too. We also did not like the fact that they do not put all the necessary information needed on the bill. It was too general like “Restaurant bill” but the other summary wasn’t there. I think they need to improve that.

Beautiful location, but inconsistent service coz of an event”
Dimakya Island is a paradise! Its pristine, blue waters are majestic. And snorkeling just off the beach is a delight (no need to be an experienced diver to see beautiful sea creatures, such as the pawikan and stingray). However, the timing of our stay was not very ideal. It coincided with the stay of the guests of a big wedding. Service from some staff was excellent and in line with Discovery’s signature service (big thanks to Noel, Robert and Maan for our snorkeling, Princess, Joeg, and Teng!). But others were less than welcoming. Interactions with the front desk and golf cart driver were not particularly warm; we had long waiting time for both of our lunch and dinner orders; the turndown service had to be followed up and the staff sent was not familiar on how to do it; a beach-side treat was not refilled and nothing was said about it when it ran out before our turn. While we got to ride a speedboat together with wedding guests on the way to the island and this allowed for a swift and comfortable 20-minute travel, our departure from the island together with all non-wedding guests was via a much slower outrigger boat. The travel took almost an hour. Funnily, an empty speedboat of the resort propelled past us, I suppose en route to the same port. We were told several times when following up on requests that the staff are busy preparing for the wedding. This message became loud and clear to us. My friend and I could not help but feel we were a lesser priority given so and possibly also since many of the wedding guests are high-profile people (admittedly, our room was only the less expensive garden view one). It is unfortunate since we spent our hard-earned money for a special overnight stay at a private island, which we were immediately sure we want to return to upon our arrival. Not also sure if the property was short-staffed. Hoping this can be avoided if similar tight occupancy is reached and a big event is held again in the future.

The resort is on a beautiful island with crystal clear water and beautiful sunsets. We stayed in the ocean view suit (3rd floor) with a spectacular sunrise view. Snorkeling, kayaking and even Scuba diving (paid) are all available at the resort. Resort manager was a wonderful gentleman, friendly who made us feel very welcome. The sunset views at the bar are to die for and accompanied by a fascinating flight of the fruit bats. The island also has a short hike to the top of the hill which offer a wonderful view of the sunrise in the morning. The resort can also arrange island tours – we took the island hopping tour and spent a lovely afternoon on a deserted beach – snorkeling, sipping on coconut water and basking in the sun The few aspects that could have been better 1. The restaurant staff need to be better trained. Our orders were mixed up and often delayed 2. The restaurant chairs often weren't cleaned of the bird poop. Resort should do a better job of this 3. Room sheets were not changed even once during our week long stay. There should be a change of linen atleast once during the stay – at least ask the guests what frequency they would prefer for change of bed linen. Room tip – the ocean view suits are great but take the 3rd floor else the views will not be as great. The sunset villas look perfect with direct access to the beach
