"Hotel is in fairly good condition, rooms are large and comfortable, what they call a single bed is actually the large double or even queen size bed in UK standards :) their prices are by far the best compared to the hotels in this city and they top some big hotel brands in terms of hospitality and the breakfast is just amazing. We were a family of three adults and an infant, and the room was more than sufficient, there’s always fresh Arabic coffee on the tables at the reception with a beautiful golden Arabic style cups. We asked for hair dryer and an iron and they brought it to our room within minutes. We usually go to UAE but this time decided to try Oman, therefore It was our first time in Oman but won’t be the last time. Amazing experience overall. "

"The best place when looking for tranquility, relaxation and luxury! It's a wonderful place for those seeking relaxation in a unique surrounding. Some staff people are not 5star level but overall it's a fantastic place (even though expensive) to relax, hence i came already for the 2nd time. To go out for dinnere you need to take a cab, there is nothing in short walking distance. Muscat downtown is 15mins away by car. The only downside: the beach is not really 5star, i would give it 4 stars!"

"this hotel is brilliant, situated a bit closer to the airport than "the rest" of the hotels in muscat. rooms are big and high standard. the only negative thing i have to say is that the breakfast feels really cheap, not much to choose from. the staff is really helpful, nice and polite, the gym is decent although they close it at 8 pm unless you tell them to keep it open for you."

"The young lady checking us in upgraded us to a suite and very pleasantly said, "It is for you and our pleasure madam". We were so surprised! What a nice welcome. It was the last night of our week stay in Muscat and was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation in Oman. The next day was the start of our journey home to Canada but this night, was pure luxury. We came to the hotel from a wonderful desert night experience and the first thing on the agenda was a long soak in the jacuzzi. Our bed was comfortable, the room sound proof, and we had a restful sleep. The breakfast the next morning (included) was fresh and delicious. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it! "

"The hotel is located at 5th floor of the new terminal near several lounges. It looks a 4 star hotel . The room rate for each hour is Oman Rial 6.8 ( $18) . I used a six hour package for 29 Dec which was ralatively expensive compared to a package of 12 hours in Jan 2019 . The room and bed are truly comfortable and nice. The package is with one meal breakfast or lunch or dinner + tea and coffee and using free Internet. The restaurant and cafe were nice decorated along with acceptable food and cozy rooms. I dont recommend this hotel for special days or holidays as the package is expensive but for the rest of the days seems good."

"Mysk al Mouj is an excellent hotel, very modern, clean and uptodate. Very capable and friendly staff and a very good cuisine (breakfast as well as diner - on Thursday evening an "Ocean" evening is being organized, with a big number of fresh fish to choose from. In the neigbourhood there are a number of other fine restaurants to choose from. Parking facilities are ok and for free. The 40 km from Muscat town do not bother given you have a car, otherwise taxis are not that expensive. Nex time in Muscat it's Mysk al Mouj all over again!!! From Belgium with love!!"

"Stayed for a week with husband and two children in the Grand Deluxe suite with a breathtaking sea view. . Occassion was our 10th wedding anniversary and my birthday. The Lady in Red and the Kempinski Muscat staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable and pleasant. Checked into the room to find red rose petals tastefully scattered in the bedroom and bathroom. Not only that, there was also a lovely bouquet of flowers, an anniversary cake and exquisite array of other sweet desserts. We were also given a choice of complimentary dinner or spa treatment. Chose the former. The food and service at The Kitchen restaurant was faultless. There was an extensive buffet array at both the breakfast and dinner services and the chefs were also willing to prepare special orders. Only regret was that the children's pool was closed for maintenance during our stay but we had other options. The kids also enjoyed attending Dippy's Club- a complimentary childminding service. "
