"We stayed at Hostel Cattleya for 2 nights and it was great. Jonathan was very helpful and provided loads of suggestions of things to do and a very detailed map of the area. He helped us book our tours and onward transport too. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The kitchen has recently been renovated and it is amazing! "We had a great stay at Rainbow Valley Lodge. We had an amazing view, very clean room, and complete kitchen. The owner is very hands on and really takes time to take care of the guests. All our tours and transfer reservations are done by him. We had an issue with a faucet leak, but was easily taken care of. The location is not in downtown but is just 15min walk. It was indeed a relaxing and stress free stay. "

"Awesome little villas set in the jungle, quiet but still convenient location (maybe a five minute walk to downtown), and the most helpful, sweet people running the place. They took time to help me plan out my stay, made me a super late breakfast when an early morning birdwatching tour ran late, and were always gracious and full of useful information whenever I had a question.
