"I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Essencia. It was said to be the newest and biggest hotel in Dumaguete City. It offered affordable room rates, complete facilities - nice and clean room and bathroom. They also have free wifi within the hotel, although wifi is not that strong inside the room, one has to stay at the side of the room near the door to get strong signal. The staff at the lobby were nice and very accommodating, we had a lot of requests and inquiries and they patiently answered each and every one of our questions. Im glad i stayed at this hotel, I would really recommend it to all my friends going to Dumaguete. "

"The hostel is about a 5 mins tricycle ride from Sibulan airport. I arrived a few hours before the check in but I was given a room early since there's an available bed already. The room was cool even with no AC on. Bed was spacious with lockers below for your stuff. Each bed has its individual sockets and night light. However, I wish there was a curtain for more privacy. Common showers are nice. No hot water but I dont mind. But when you first open the faucet/showers there's a rusty smell on the water. The staff however are very nice and helpful. You can ask them for tour packages around Dumaguete or nearby provinces. Overall a nice hotel for solo travelers. Value for money and would consider booking again when I go back to Dumaguete. "

"The best thing about it was its location-- ten minutes from the airport (costs 120 pesos); 4 blocks from the bay walk; 2 blocks away from the public market where you can have a nice traditional local breakfast; close to banks and restaurants. I particularly appreciate the hotel's "what to do in Dumaguete in a day" advice. The staff were courteous and helpful. The bathroom was a lot more spacious than what is typically found in hotels of the same rating. Most flights into Dumaguete seem to arrive in the morning. So, if you want to check in early, it will cost you an additional 200 pesos. Overall, I recommend it and would consider staying here again. "

"The first thing that I admired was how beautiful the aesthethics of the hotel...you know that everything was well thought of and taken carr by the management. In general, the room is well lighted, minimalist but elegantly designed, the bed is very comfortable, bathroom is huge and clean and the pool is one of the best that this hotel has to offer. In a very humid weather in Dumaguete, you will appreciate to dip in the pool after a full day out. But most of all, our stay was made convenient and memorable by the entire staff of Rovira Suites. From the front desk, housekeeping, kitchen staff and security guard...all are very friendly and ready to help at all times. This is what we truly appreciate the most and shall be valued by management I just hope they keep up the good customer service and the fair price and decent food. Special thanks to the pretty Ms. Miriam for her kind, sincere and happy customer service. Till our next stay Rovira Suites!"
