"Jessica and Eric were the most gracious hosts. We were looking for the local doctor in Diego who was supposed to meet us and provide us with accommodation but were unable to get in touch with him. They not only took us into town free of charge but also drove us to the main hospital and acted as our translators to get the doctor’s contact info. That was above and beyond the call of host responsibility. We were very grateful for that. Besides, Jessica is a great cook. She made us a gorgeous seafood dinner the night before. Thank you Jessica and Eric. Jalin and Robert"

"Formerly the hotel Emeraude, this one run by the same people who own the Le Ribaudiere iin Tanarive. Nice decor throughout and in rooms. Comfortable sleeping conditions, no street noise. Good AC, except doesn't run on the generator (which hotel uses when ower cuts out). A couple of easy blocks walk from the center, location good. Next door to a good bar restaurant, travel agent, and place to arrange good SUV transfer and bookings. Professional, responsive staff. Restaurant for breakfast only."
