"This was my second stay at Code Apartments and I do not feel the need to seek any other accommodation in the future. It suits my purposes ideally. As they are serviced apartments, not a hotel, you need to self-cater. There is no on-site dining facility. This is a minor issue which was of no concern to me, personally, whatsoever. The apartments are within a five-minute easy stroll of the southern end of Bowen Hills railway station (only two stops north of Brisbane Central and six stops from Brisbane Airport) and are visible from the station. For me, as comfortable as a five star hotel, without the price tag."

"My boyfriend and I stayed here just one night and were really pleased with the hostel. The reception was 24hour and the guy we dealt with was really friendly and chatty. Our room was like a hotel room but nicer than most hotels we've stayed in! It was a really cold night and there was just one sheet and a light throw on the bed so I was glad I'd brought my own fleece blanket. The ensuite was big, very clean and modern and had lovely fluffy white towels. I didn't like the shower as it sprayed in all directions but was certainly managable and was clean and the water was hot. We ate in the bar downstairs which was really modern and relaxed. The food was excellent, the service was really good and the prices very reasonable. As I only booked the hostel that day I couldn't book a carpark space as they were all booked out but there was plenty of parking on the street outside, which is away from the main road and had no problems parking there for free. I would definitely go back to the Brisbane YHA, it's a bit more expensive than other hostels but definitely worth paying a bit extra for."

"Staff was nice and friendly. The room that I was in was not cleaned yet but we were able to leave our bags in the room. We left the hotel for an hour as they advised us that the cleaners are cleaning a room and will clean it while we are out and to come back in an hour. We can back after an hour and the room still wasn't cleaned. As I was about to go down to reception the cleaners were at the door. They cleaned while we stayed on the balcony. I am not surprised they took a while to clean the room before ours. The state the previous people left the room I was in was horrible. There was butter wrapping on the floor. The bathroom was dirty and not the toilet was not flushed properly. The floors were dirty and the beds were in a bad state. I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment so there was a lot of cleaning. They were nice and apologised for not cleaning before we got there. The apartment was modern. We had 3 balconies. The main balcony had a good view. The other 2 was facing construction. The weekend was good because because it was quiet but when construction workers started it was pretty noisy early in the morning. So it wasn't good if you had a late night. Overall was a great hotel. It will be much better when the construction if finished. It is a fair walk to the main city but you can access it by train. And the train station is only 7mins away from the hotel."
