Barcelona hotels & accommodations

Hotel staff was exceptional! I was greeted immediately upon walking in to the hotel and was offered drinks and also had my bags brought up to the room. My room was ready immediately and the bell hop also provided a full tour of our room and explained how to use all of the amenities! The receptionist at the front desk was also helpful and explained different places to ...

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Barcelona and couldn’t have been better. - Excellent location- 10 to 15 minutes to La Ramblas, right infront of McDonalds and Subway and one of the best restaurants I’ve been to (Antic Cafe), next to several supermarkets and clothes shops (including Carrefour express) - If you want to reach any place in Barcelona cheaply you could use ...

It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth every penny. I talked to many locals after wards, they all say it’s one of the best hotels in Barcelona, close to everything, staff is very helpful, the bartenders are great) I went to the spa every single day, sauna is always hot and everything is super clean. I had a deluxe room with a terrace ) it was perfect to relax after a...

We stayed at OD Barcelona hotel recently June 1st and 2nd 2018. The hotel is fantastic with new modern room style ,very clean and 5 minutes walk to main downtown street Passeig de Gracia. Front desk staff always smiling and very helpful . 5 star service from Thomas (reception) and Xavier (waiter). Would definitely come back with no hesitation. Thank you to all the staf...

We had 8 nights in Barcelona and initially wanted to stay at different districts. Due to the hassle of moving luggages, we decided to just book one hotel and i guess by sheer luck, we booked Olivia Plaza. The airport transfer which cost 5.90 euros one way stopped 2 mins from this hotel at the plaza Catalunya. So that was amazing. Upon check in, it must be another str...

it has been the second time that i stayed at regina hotel in barcelona and the stay was exactly what i expected. a charming hotel right in the center of this pulsating city of barcelona. 2 minutes walk to plaza catalunya, las ramblas and the starting point of many excursions. the rooms are small but ok. what counts here is definitely location. book early as room rates ...

Most European 3 star hotels have small rooms but Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via is one of its kind - spacious and at the heart of Barcelona. Firstly the breakfast is abundant and costs only 10 euros so its worth it. Second the hotel tends to be packed so expect early check in or late check out to be denied. Third there are 2 in Barcelona only Ramblas has the swimmi...

We loved this apartment. Yes its true that there is no housekeeping and no change of towels daily because this is not a hotel. This is a very convenient accomodation in Barcelona for our family, it has a kitchen, a laundry, iron, balcony where you can dry your clothes, internet. The elevator is very small but its okay, it does its job. Yes you have to take out your tra...

'Senior' citizens, on a four-day Overview of Barcelona's many sights! It was v.important four us 2b centrally-located (so we couldn't get lost...) and we used taxis to get about. Pulitzer was perfectly located, tho rather expensive. I was first alerted to the Pulitzer in a DailyTelegraph feature on 'best Barcelona hotels', May 2017.

The room is of a normal size considering its location. But one can tell the hotel tried its best to make it as comfortable as possible. Personally speaking i think they achieved that. Someone used to complain about the glass wall between the shower and the bedroom, but there is a blind. Others complain about toilet separate from the shower, which is the most common set...

I lost my laptop computer, which is of invaluable significance to me, at Munich Airport, while taking a flight to Barcelona. Mr. Christian Gruner of Eurohotel Barcelona Granvia Fira, who speaks Spanish, German, and English fluently, took the exordibary patience and passion to help me locate the computer and arrange for its express delivery to the hotel on 25 September,...

Room was spacious and comfortable with an equally impressive bathroom. Staff were extremely helpful and, having the metro station so close by enabled very easy access to the centre of Barcelona. I specifically booked this hotel because I needed parking, but was extremely disappointed with the availability of hotel parking; there was room for approximately 25cars and it...

This hotel in Barcelona, near the airport, is exceptional. The property is impeccably kept and maintained. The staff is so hospitialbe and helpful and polite. The property offers free shuttle service from BCN and runs every 30 minutes 24hrs a day. I want to give special kudos to Alfonzo and Alzier. These two employees were extremely helpful in planning daily activitie...

This hotel is the BEST at communicating with their guests even before they arrive! The staff has a heart and are very thoughtful. I didn’t even stay there and I was so impressed. THAT is what you call service. I will tell everyone. 2 days before I checked in to the hotel I r’cd a call that my mum had passed. I emailed the hotel who advised that b/c I booked with Agod...

This classic Barcelona hotel was a treat to stay in. The pictures say it all. Great accommodations, modern up market styling with good linen, comfortable beds and great shower, twin vanities. Make sure you give yourself a treat and enjoy the ambiance and food in the breakfast room and at least try the bar once. There is also fine dining in the Michelin dining room. L...

Great location as a base to explore Barcelona from. Situated in a street corner of the Ramblas, making retreats to room after a long day a good wind down, yet still being close to the charms of Barcelona. Location perfect for easy access to Metros, car rentals, airport bus, Carrefour, shopping, sights - all within 5-15mins walk away. As for the hotel itself, a good com...

The place was clean and tidy. The size of the room was actually quite bigger than my expectation. Actually i worried a bit before staying due to the reviews saying it might be a bit noisy as it’s just at the center of Barcelona but the sound from the outside was not much and affordable. Most of all, just 2 hours before checking out time, i had a medical emergency situ...

My wife and I stayed at the Gotico hotel in Barcelona at the end of October. The hotel was very well located, quite comfortable, immaculate, and the staff was very helpful. Several times during the stay, we remarked to each other that this seems like a more expensive hotel and was a great value for the price. It is not lavish but extremely comfortable. We did not ch...

Loved having this place as my base in Barcelona. Very easy to get anywhere, right outside Liceu station and a short walk to Plaza Cataluña which is where you catch the airport bus, several tour buses, etc. Gothic quarter is a few minutes away. Room at this hotel is basic, but you've got a hot shower, good AC and everything super neat and clean.. Bed is comfortable.. Wh...

The location was great and within walking distance to all attractions and public transport. The room for 4 was very new, clean although a bit tight for 4 but it didn’t bother us as we were out most of the time, There’s a lift which means we don’t have to carry our heavy bags up stairs like many other hostel in Spain, I would highly recommend this place,

This is my second stay here and will be my choice of where to stay in Barcelona. The location is reasonably close to the airport. The shuttle service is a bonus which will save you 20 euros in taxi fares each way. Its not in the city centre but for 2.20 euros by bus which is on the doorstop, its a great alternative, you'd be paying that for using the metro. Now about t...

I stayed at Casa Gracia on March 2015 with my parents. I was so excited because it was the first time in Barcelona for me, and also for my parents, it was the first time in Europe. When we got the hostel right from the airport from Korea, we were exhausted, but since we saw the room, it was really nice and we could be relaxed. Room was very nice, the bathroom was big w...

Booking a hotel is always a bit of a gamble, despite all the varied reviews available. We were delighted with Jazz Hotel in Barcelona!. It was very easy to reach using the Aerobus and very close to the old city and La Rambla. Our room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable and huge bed. We opted for an 'interior room' so had little traffic noise. Breakfas...

Our stay at Pol & Grace was amazing. This was one of our best hotel stays in Europe. For a start, the hotel is just less than a minute walk from the train station. Going to town or many major attractions from this hotel is extremely convenient given that there are 2 metro lines at the station. The design of the room was very unique. It isn't like any other hotel. I l...

This hotel is my favorite. I like the design, the staff is very good, the bed is the best i know so far. We book this hotel every year, because we like barcelona and especialy we love this hotel so much. The location, the rooms, the staff, the food, the room service, the breakfast, the coffee, everything we love in this hotel. The Hotel is not cheap, but compared to...

We are a family with 3 young children and spent 6 days in Barcelona. We took a 3 bedroom apartment at Castro building The facilities were excellent, apartment modern and Clean. Location is great, with metro 5 mins walk, lots of shops and restaurants and a sports club nearby where we took the kids to watch and play football and basketball.

5minute walk to cruise line shuttle. 5 minutes to rambla 5 minutes to plaza rheal Quiet Good staff I will use as my hotel in barcelona again. Con Ask if your cost inclides breakfast if not then many options just steps away You will not be disappointed
Cheap places to stay in Barcelona

going there to the airport I do recommend you buy the HOLA BARCELONA travel cad they have 2,4..... days just check the nearest train station its was a huge mistake to took a cab for 32euros (price of 2, 2days hola card). It's a tiny door leading to the hostel, don't be scared like I did (the name on the door is small), buzz right thru and some one will open the door fo...

The staff are super nice! You have a very warm welcome when you first enter this hostel. They are always smiling and friendly. The facility are clean and tidy. The only problem is you need to climb a little bit when you going back to the hostel. Except this it perfect for every traveler who would to stay in Barcelona.

We spent 2 days in Barcelona and at the Inout hotel, which is a very nice location in the forest, a bit far away from the city center if you don't have a car, but directly in the nature. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice. And we also enjoyed the swimming-pool. To be recommended if you look for a "nice" price.

I stayed at the Don Mustache Hostel for two days. For the location, it was perfect for a tourist as it was literally walking distance to the heart of Barcelona. The staff was exceptional, especially Julie, who went out of her way to make me feel comfortable during my first hostel experience. I highly recommend this hostel!

Its clean and near the city center. You get a decent bed and washing facilities. A locker albeit you have to pay a euro to get the lock and key. The staff is polite and generally helpful. The kitchen is decent as is the large lounge with a couple of computers if you have a need for them. The atmosphere is a little dull and quiet which might not be everyone's cup of tea...

Excellent location, very close to metro, train and bus, and walking distance to everything there is to see in Barcelona. Only con is that it's on a busy avenue, so if you're a light sleeper that could be a problem. Cleanliness is very good, and staff helpful and kind.

Ot wasy second time in this hostel and was a tiny bit disappointed, as this you're breakfast wasn't included in the price (last year included, this year €2.50). I would be ok with paying if there was bigger choice, but it was exactly the same as last year. So that's the part that was disappointing. Oh, and at night it gets cold in the room cause of the AC. But everyt...

My stay was astounding. One of the BEST hostels in Europe! If you stay at Sant Jordi Hostel Rock Palace--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, pub crawls every night. Staff is very professional--Paolo is a 5-star team member along with the rest. You won't be disappointed if you book a room or bed at Sant Jordi hostel. Give them a try, see how you can experie...

Nice place to stay located in the heart of Barcelona. From there you can go absolutely to anywhere on foot. The hostel was quite clean when I went, there are kitchen where you can cook, they sell breakfast too, however, it’s too expensive. The comum area is nice to meet people, eat and drink something. In overall I’d stay there again.

This was a very cool hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, a tasty dinner was provided each night, the bathrooms and showers were clean, and the rooms came with your own locker that could only be opened with your keycard. The staff also puts on a pub crawl each night and the whole atmosphere of the place was great for meeting new people. I'll definitely s...

Staffs are SO FRIENDLY, facilities TOP notch. Felt like a boutique hotel totally. Their kitchen and common areas are so clean that it felt like home, and I’m not even exaggerating about it. Did I mention about their balcony? Perfect place to relax after a day trip exploring the city. Shower area extraordinary clean and you get to fine tune the hot water to your ideal t...

It's one of the best hostels I've ever statyed in Spain. It's economic and modern. Staff are very friendly and helpful; Breakfast is really great that you can stuff yourself with yum food; The use of electric room key is very convenient and safe; The bed is very cozy; Electric plugs are available in two styles - very convenient to backpackers all around the world; Wash...

My stay was astounding. One of the BEST hostels in Europe! If you stay at URBANY BCN GO--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, pub crawls every night. Staff is very professional--Cristina, Elise, Christophe, Wendy, Courtney, LAURA from MIAMI BEACH, SARAH from Wales, Sarah from OZ, Dexter are 5-star team members along with the rest. Danny and management do a grea...

The room was large and attractively decorated. The large floor level only had two other rooms which meant that the large shared kitchen and seating area felt that it was homely personal space and very unlike a hotel. This wasn't the only so called 'bed and breakfast' accommodation that we stayed in that was in fact much better than most of the hotel rooms we had booked...

I stayed for 2 nights. The Gràcia district is the best area for hanging out in Barcelona. The building is modern with a stylish area to eat or work on your laptop, and a spacious private courtyard open from 8AM - 8PM. Everything was clean and the toilet facilities were good. The WiFi was fast. My 4-bunk dorm was spacious. Perhaps the only problem was the lack of coat...

Generator Barcelona is a 7-10min walk from the metro. Although the neighborhood seems dark and quiet at night, it’s extremely safe. There’s also a lot of nearby 24hr convenience stores near the area. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and so were the bathrooms. The staff was nice and accommodating. Tried asking for a bottom bunk for my shared room, and they gladly gave ...

Stayed in a 6-bed mixed dorm as a solo female traveller and had no problems at all. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The location is close to a bus stop and 15 mins walk from Barcelona Sants station. There is a cafe just round the corner and they serve really good bakeries! Only issue I have is the shower as it does not have any hooks apart from a ...

1 Very nice terrace, even if a bit windy. I imagine it would be perfect on summer months. 2. No upper sheet, just blanket. Does not feel comfortable. 3. I don't think the floor in my room was even brushed once during my stay. (Corridors and bathrooms were brushed and washed daily) 4. Though shower stalls are nicely roomy, showers themselves left lot to wish for. Wat...

It was the second time in Barcelona and i was looking for a hostel not so close from the center. This hostel was at the perfect location for me, i met Barcelona by feet and it was magical. The stuff was very kind and the breakfast very delicious. My first travel alone and definitely i will do it again!

We arrived to hostel at about 23:00. We were met at the reception without any problem, we gave a deposition for keys (10 euro each) and sucessfully got our rooom. It was so clean and smelled so good (this smell of clean sheets was there for all three days). Beds were comfortable af. It was noisy outside but it's obvious if you live in the city centure. There are free l...

We are satisfied with the hotel during our stay. It is located near the train station, just 8-minutes walk from train station. The staffs always offer you the help with smiles. Kitchen and rooms are clean and comfortable. It is so nice that you can relax on the sofa in the living room, can listen to the music or watch TV.

Don't waste your money. Awful place. Unclean, poor staff, shocking facilities, exposed wires in the wall, the list goes on. Don't think the beds actually qualify as beds, probably a better nights sleep, sleeping on the floor. Not much else to say really, ended up moving to a hotel.

Used for a recent visit to Barcelona. Small Hostel with a friendly vibe and great for meeting new people. Fist time at a hostel and sleeping in dorms and it was a very good experience. Clean and very friendly and this transferred to other guests making the social areas good places to be.

clean facilities, thick bed and has wall adpater each beds and privacy own as well. staffs are awesome, super cool. Just one think i kind of dislike, is hard to find this location with google map. i had a stuggle time to find the hostel. but onecd you check in, you are good to go because now you know it. totally successful booking. recommand to friends

1. rooms are not big but contain anything you need, looks recently renovated and no rugs so dust is to it's minimum. 2. bathroom is good, clean and comfortable. 3. hotel is located on diputacio and balmes, just 5 minutes from placa de catalunya. it's also not far from passeig de gracia the metro and train station so you can take the airport train and avoid the cost...

This was the perfect hotel for us to stay when we went to Barcelona to visit our son who was spending the semester there. It was walking distance to most of the areas we wanted to see or a short cab ride to the others. Can't beat the price for such a great location. Also, I don't sleep well away from home, and had no problems here....that could also be because we w...

We enjoyed our stay here in mid February 2017. The location of the hotel in Barcelona is great, You are about 10-15min walk from the beach and around 25min walk from Les Rambles in the center of Barcelona. There is a metro station just around the corner from the hotel which is just a few stops away from the major attractions and locations in Barcelona which is a big ti...

I love the neighbourhood Hotel Golden Tulip is located at. It is quiet yet it felt safe to be there. A couple of good restaurants, cafes within walking distance as well as the local grocery store where we could buy lovely fresh fruits, water etc. The subway takes about 5-8 minutes walk and is about 3-5 stops from the main tourist areas of Barcelona. Subway is very effi...

The hotel is walking distant to most attractions you want to see in Barcelona. It’s right next to the shopping district and if you want to have an aerial view of Barcelona, the rooftop bar at El Cortes Ingles is right across the street. This hotel is a generally good as a four-star hotel. BUT remember, your room location is very very important. I stayed here for 3 nights. On the first day, my room faced the street. I couldn’t get to sleep because of traffic noise and people’s gabble until 3-4 AM. After then, I couldn’t sleep again because of subway vibration. I talked to staff, he imediately changed ...

The Best Western Premier Dante is one of the best hotels in Barcelona and I've stayed at five star properties that cost twice as much. The spacious room had a king size bed and was clean and modern. The bathroom large with a nice shower and big towels. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Great location too!

If you're working in the Poblenou area this is a good choice - very central for the bars and restaurants. If you're in Barcelona as a tourist and have only limited time, it's not the best, as it's a 15-20 minute metro ride into the area you're interested in. Small rooftop pool, late reception, adequate breakfast (though nothing special and the hot selection really wasn...

We will definitely be back. The room is absolutely gorgeous with a small balcony and a bathroom with a double sink and double shower. We stayed at a premier hotel before moving to Casa Mimosa and let's just say we regretted not staying in Casa Mimosa the entire time. Located just behind Casa Mila, it's a few steps away from Passeig de Gracia (all the luxury boutiques) ...

The room (loft) we booked was more like an apartment with a kitchen. Pretty spacious and clean. Also the interior design was quite nice. The location of the hotel is superb and you can reach almost every sightseeing attraction by foot! There is also a near subway station. The hotel is very nice. The scent every time we entered the hotel smells good. My wife and I loved it. We did not try the buffet breakfast but it looks delicious. Not sure exactly how recently the hotel opened, but it felt brand new. The hotel has a modern design and good use of lighting and glass. The bathrooms were paticularly impressive with a very nice shower and I have to say, I'm a fan of the dark tiling affect. The price didn't seem too bad but I think i may have been an Introductory offer. I was back in Barcelona a fe...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ciutadella Barcelona. A nice cozy hotel, very helpful and kind staff, just a 15 minute walk to the Barceloneta beach, possible to walk to the very center (just stay in the shade, there is plenty). Air conditioning worked great, just be sure to close the windows. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are many nice cafes with...

Styled beautifully to feel modern yet retaining some old world charm and perfectly located to enjoy the best of Barcelona. Our stay was highlighted by the warm and friendly staff who added greatly to the enjoyment of our visit. Highly recommended!
