“Band for the buck”
Didn't really expect much of it, chose it merely on the basis of location abd proximity to my meetings, thought it's a 4 star hotel based on location as Lusail has some of the fanciest hotels in Doha against price per night. The hotel exceeded my expectations, the staff are friendly and accommodating to your needs. The check in was a breeze, having the Vandome Mall within walking distance and a mini mall adjacent to the hotel is a plus. The room was spotless clean, spacious with all needed amenities. The bed and pillows are extremely comfy with the right balance of softness and firmness. The large TV with all you need from satellite channels helps when you want to watch it late night. The whole design is modern and new. The bathroom is exceptionally big with batu tub, showes with strong hot water, and extra large vanity mirror. The air conditioning was working perfectly with good easy controls. Now things that beed improvement though not essentials: 1. Restaurant buffet offers limited options and mainly serves middle eatern cuisine, so if you are not into it specially for lunhc then I'd advise to skip it. 2. The rooms service was good enough with nothing exceptional in terms of taste, just average. 3. Rooms are well insulated for indoor sound proof, but the outdoor noises are not at all sound proof. Though, the neighbourhood isn't lively with cars and heavy traffic to annoy you, except for the occasional loud cars from time to time. Recommendation: Suitable for families and business travellers mainly. A great hospitable hotel for visiting the city and not for those who lingers in hotel facilities.
