Tranquil Stay at Tagaytay”
The stay was great with a good view fronting the large garden of the property. We arrived late that day at 530pm and was texted and called when we are scheduled to arrive. We opted for the indoor parking at P300 per day since we have stayed here before at another tower, and also had a room deposit of P400 for incidentals that was refundable on check out. Overall, peaceful nice clean beds but the sofa bed was rather noisy due to leather rubbing while my son slept. Run or walk around the property, the tower is away from the shops like 7-11 and PizzaHut and we needed to go into another tower just to go there.
This is more a place for couples”
Firstly the room was fantastic with an amazing view overlooking taal volcano. However the condominium company do try to charge to park your car on waste land and charge 150 per person to swim. It is very cheeky really as your already paying for the room. This is better suited for couples or small groups but for families with children I would aim to stay at a hotel with pool next time.
Very good”
The room was good for 5 adults. The only problem was the provided blanket was insufficient. There was only one excess blanket given. All in all there were 3 beds. 1 queensized bed and another sofa bed with a pull out. We werent able to use the pull out because we are lacking one blanket. And there were no doormats provided which is kind of troublesome. We recycled supermaket paperbags into doormats which is not so economic. Aside from that all in all it was good. I would still recommend it and in fact I saved their phone number into my phone because I plan on visiting tagaytay again.
Acceptable”
I scored the lowest because we’re not able to go there since the host was inconsiderate. Me & my friends live here in Manila and it’s raining continuously here so I asked her if we can rebooked. I understand that booking should be done 7 days prior to booking date. But, can we predict if it’s still gonna rain on our exact booking date? Of course not! The host even confirmed that the weather there at that time was gloomy and rain fall was intermittent & since it’s Tagaytay, do she really think that we’re still gonna swim given the default weather of Tagaytay plus the current weather condition? No! Coz we might get sick right. We won’t be able to maximize our stay if we push through our stay there that’s why I asked for rebooking & unfortunately, she didn’t agree.
Needs Improvement”
The check-in process was difficult. We notified ahead of time our time of arrival and we can not get hold of the contact person for an hour. We were not provided of the unit number so the security wanted us to turn around. The front desk at Tower 4 wanted to keep our passports and international travel license in an unsecured desk. The unit is small, not enough room for luggage of foreign travelers of three. The restroom floor was wet. No towels provided. They provided instant coffee and 2 small bottle water. Beware of mosquito, we woke up with bites. The checkout process was a nightmare there's only two elevators working and took us 1 hour to get down our luggages. The lobby was cramped with all the guests coming and going. The contact person came on time to return our security deposit. Please bring your own toiletries, towel and thicker blanket.
