Suitable for a couple, family with 1 or 2 kids, or 2 friends, maximum of 4 people. ( although we can put a few rubber mattresses on the sitting room floor if you have any extra kids. Let us know and we can work something out ).

The living room has a lounge suite, 32" TV and a ceiling fan.

The kitchen area has a small bar fridge, 4 burner gas stove/oven, rice cooker, electric kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery and a dining table. So hopefully you will enjoy cooking your favorite food!

The Bedroom has 2 double beds which can be pushed together, air conditioner and a small wardrobe for your clothes.

Bathroom has basin, toilet and hot shower.
Towels, face washers, shampoo, and soap provided.

All rooms have been freshly painted & renovated. The rooms are partitioned off from the main house which is always occupied.

“Exceptional”
Staying here is very comfortable, quite & peaceful. The care taker is very nice and accommodating. She even let us shower in the other room and leave our luggage in their house. (For context we had a early morning itinerary and came back beyond our check out time so we can’t use our room anymore since there’s a next guest) There is a sari-sari store and carinderia near the place. The only thing they need to work out is their shower bcos it’s grounded and the ac bcos it’s not that cold even though we set it in highest number

“Good Stay”
The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area, while the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room size was generous, and parking was convenient, which added to the overall comfort. However, the facilities could use some improvement, as there were a few amenities that felt lacking. Cleanliness was generally good, making for a pleasant experience despite these minor issues.

“Exceptional”
We had a very comfy stay. Location is accessible (around 5 mins drive from the port). Clean and cozy. Kitchen tools and equipment are complete so you can cook. Water pressure is a bit low.

“Comfortable and Value for Money”
Calunsag Homestay made our stay in Siquijor comfortable and great. While it’s our first time staying in a homestay, we enjoyed it! They have everything we need in the house. Comfortable beds, spacious dining area and living room, clean bathrooms, complete facilities (kitchen needs, etc.). What made it extra special is we are experiencing the life of locals. The homestay is nearby a great neighborhood with friendly people. If you are looking for staying nearby the “night life area”, this is not for you. Because the homestay is a little far from San Juan (center of activities). Overall, our stay was comfortable and the experience was definitely memorable.

“SIMPLE ”
The place is affordable and has a complete set of things you’ll need in the kitchen to cook. The rental property has its own living area and has a room good for a group of people. The downside is that it’s quite far from the stores and restaurants in Siquijor and the place needs to be renovated as some parts of the restroom are broken. The place gives you a typical provincial modern home. There is also a weird smell when you enter the rental property, hoping they’ll be able to get rid of the scent soon.
