"It's definitely different than any other place I've ever stayed at and I enjoyed it plenty. We literary stayed at this location just to try out the hotel and we didn't feel disappointed by it. The people here are all very friendly and being on the river the place is very clean. It's a place of relaxation with a change of view with a still quietness. Probably wouldn't recommend coming during the rainy season although it was a tranquil white noise. We couldn't do a lot of things due to the weather. We were pretty limited to seeing the village around the area and use of the kayak. We went to the waterfall, but couldn't get too close due to the weather and current of the river. The room is elegant and very comfortable. Just make sure you keep your tent zipped up at all times. I was there for about 3 days and ended up with at least 40 bites (i mean you are by the jungle). The shower took a while to warm up, but I still was impressed by the bathroom as a whole. It was all very clean. There is only one electrical outlet for use. The library was pretty helpful when we were lounging in between. Had a mild selection of hollywood action and romantic comedies, wished they had at least one horror film. They seemed to have an array of different books, but the guide books helped plan our next city. Food is alright, kinda simply made, but still enjoyable. My friend loved the chicken baguette and ordered it all the time at lunch. I'm sure if you wanted substitutes or had allergies they would be accommodating. The service is attentive and again courteous. It was reasonably price. My perspective may be skewed with NYC prices, but I thought it was still decent. Breakfast was delicious as well, never too heavy. The place is really high quality in decor and comfort and the service is what tops it all off. Really enjoyable. "

"The location is fantastic. The hotel is newly open and some parts of the landscape in the area are still undergoing development. Our room was bright, nicely decorated and spacious with comfortable bed and lovely view from the balcony over the waterfall and pool area, you could not see the river, from the balcony, but it didn't bother us.The staff were very helpful and attentive. Many fantastic trips an excursions available, it was hard to choose. We loved the river kayaking and the trip to mangrove forest as well as day and night jungle trekking with Gerald-wildlife specialist. Mr Chai was also an excellent guide. All the meals were delicious, but more expensive than in other places that we've stayed in Cambodia.Andrew the owner was extremely helpful with everything we needed. The only 2 practical issues that could be looked into are 1) insufficient space for clothes for the room size: small cupboard and 2 tiny shelves and 2) the shower head fitted too low-perhaps for an average Khmer man, but not high enough for a 6' man.The vestibule could have been designed better with more space for clothes instead of a large mirror.Overall we've had a wonderful stay at the resort, enjoyed very much the breathtaking scenery, trips, food and the staff's and the owner's hospitality"
