Parelles Philippines, 20 / abril / 2013	Disappointed cheap centrally located 7,3 Our stay was disappointing because all I requested when I booked the hotel more than a month ago was not granted, like a room in a lower level because I have a senior citizen with me, and yet we got a room in the 4th floor without elevator!!!! The water flow in the toilet flush was also slow so you cannot use it often. The free airport shuttle was only one way and its from the local government and not from the hotel.

When I found out that they do not have an elevator, I specifically requested via their website to put us in the lower floors. They never replied. I called them up via landline to request for airport transfer but they said they're charging 450 per way but they suggested that we take the free shuttle from airport to downtown wherein you will step right off in front of the hotel. Thankful for that. Arrived at the hotel and guess what, we were placed on the 4th floor. Never bothered to follow up on the email because I thought it wouldn't be much of a hassle to walk up and down. But it was tiring. REALLY tiring and exhausting since the stairs steps are sooo steep. I have a photo attached which showed the elderly guests almost giving up onto the 2nd floor. One elderly man (as shown on the pic) even stopped in the middle to rest not even reaching the 2nd floor yet. I really pity them. Imagine us on the 4th floor! Room was small, but ok. somewhat clean. They only provide 1 pillow but we requested for extra pillows from the bellboy and it was ok. But their bathroom has a small sink and it was impossible to wash your face on it because the platform where you place the toothbrushes, etc. (don't know what it's called) will hit your forehead. Shower has loose handle and it it won't close you have to estimate if it's already off otherwise you will rotate it endlessly.. They should do something about it. Towels are as rough and hard as a body scrub. Painful to wipe your face using it. Restaurant at the ground floor, Macy's is the best. I love everything about it.. the ambiance, the waiting time if perfect, the food choices is amazing. Staff are very friendly, suggestive of where to eat after 8pm, etc. Overall, might come back again only if they assure that I'd be placed on the 2nd floor since they DO NOT REPLY to emails. Room Tip: DEMAND for lower rooms especially if you have elderly or kids with you.
